Jim returned 6 years later to fix an issue with fences he had installed at no cost to us.

We have used Jim on two major residential projects. The first involved extensive hardscape, planting, irrigation, lighting and a significant amount of earth moving. The second project was smaller in scope but still a complete new landscape makeover at our newly remodeled house. In both instances Jim has been extremely professional, accessible, creative, flexible and competent. His follow through is amazing and even years after completion he remains available and happy to help with additions or changes. We have recommended him to several friends and they too have been extremely happy with Jim's work. We offer our unqualified and very enthusiastic recommendation for any landscape project.

We hired Jim at Elements Landscape to redo our backyard. He completely gutted the back and designed a beautiful setting with a patio, grass, putting green, fire pit and outdoor kitchen. He came up with multiple designs, was very open to our feedback, iterated with us on design and then completed the work, under time and under budget. We were so impressed with the quality of Jim's work, his responsiveness, the speed, and his overall professionalism. Plus, he is just a super nice guy. I would recommend him in a heartbeat!

For many years we have worked with Jim Redman and his company Elements Landscape and recognize that their success is an integral part of Peninsula Building Materials achievements as well. Mr Redman is a very talented Landscape Architect who enjoys working closely with each client to clearly understand their needs and expectations and identifies what aesthetics are most important to their project. He and his team use our stone in very elegant and pleasing ways to create lasting impressions for each of his designs.

It has been 1 year since Jim and his crew completed the dramatic transformation of our outdoor landscaping and looking back, we are extremely happy with the end result, his follow ups over time, the overall construction process, and his efforts to thoughtfully design and plan our project. We started out with broken and uneven concrete patio and steps, a non-functional drainage system, and large patches of dead plants and grass, which basically meant that our backyard was largely not usable, borderline unsafe, and a general disaster. Jim listened carefully and worked with us over several sessions to design the project to meet our wants and style while also balancing costs. His recommendations at the start as well as changes as we went along were thoughtful and made sense in the overall project plan. Jim worked diligently to overcome any issues that arose and was very responsive to address any concerns and questions that I had. We typically met weekly to review progress, discuss any open items, and look forward to upcoming activities. In the end, we were able to revamp our home and outdoor space to a stunning contemporary design with an inviting entryway with steps and ipe planter boxes, interlocking paver driveway, functional irrigation, ipe deck with built in bbq and fire pit, artificial turf, the works. Jim has continually followed up to make sure any issues that arose after completion would be taken care of in a timely manner. We highly recommend Jim Redman and Elements Design for any outdoor landscaping design and construction project. Jim is a true professional with exceptional design abilities that is followed by efficient construction execution. He is straightforward, honest, and fair and it was a pleasure to work with him.

If we could give Jim more than 5 stars we would. He transformed our backyard from a cement dog yard to a gorgeous outdoor living space with bar, full kitchen, step-down eating area with fireplace, and spa area. This was 10 years ago and we continue to adore spending time with family and friends in our home extension.....aka backyard!!! We highly recommend Jim and his team as they were always prompt, very diligent about clean up, and very professional.

JIm is extremeley helpful and collabritive. His advice really turned out to be worth listening too. Although he was too busy to take on our project -we would hire him in a heartbeat if we could.

Jim and his team are very professional and I have worked with him on over 5 separate landscape jobs as a homeowner over many years. These included everything from a sport court, fire pit surround, BBQ islands, terraces, pools and he consistently provides an excellent product at a fair price. He is an artist at the same time as being very practical and willing to help you meet your budget expectations. I highly recommend him.

We worked with Jim back in 2010 for landscape installation. It is hard to find a good landscape contractor, and I was very particular about how I wanted a modern fence installed. I think Jim really listened and has a good sense of modern style. I would use him again.

My husband and I hired Jim from Elements Landscape about 6 years ago for phase one of our yard and since he did such a fabulous job we brought him back this past year for the final phase. Jim is very creative, knowledgable and easy to work with. His team is professional and highly skilled. Our project turned out better then we imagined and we are very pleased.
