Very, very happy with the excellent job done by Elite. We hired Elite to remove and replace the aging concrete pad in our c.1920's self-standing garage. Despite my concern that the structure may have been impacted by the removal of the interior pad, there was no problem. I was looking to get concrete work done for our house - we needed a new parking pad and work done to our driveway. Unfortunately, we didn't get very far with this company. Someone from this company had given me a call to discuss the work I needed done. I had explained my situation to this gentlemen and was trying to set up an appointment for someone to evaluate and properly provide a quote. My overall experience with this gentlemen was not the best. The person I had talked to was aggressive on the phone. He demanded for measurements I could not provide. When I had asked if they could send someone to come in to evaluate the work, on the phone, the man pretty much said "What for?". At the end of the conversation a very rough quote was given, which was double the amount of other vendors. I've worked with tons of vendors/companies as we had built our home from scratch, not once has someone given me an estimate without coming by to at least take measurements. The only reason I reached out to you was because of other reviews of your work. It just seemed that your associate didn't want to come down to look at the property, and brushed off my potential business by providing an absurd quote. I came onto Houzz to write a review mainly to let you guys know that I did not appreciate this experience as a potential paying customer. Update: After the above review, Raffy reached out to schedule a consultation. My husband met with him and he said the interaction was much more personable. He provided different options for the work we needed to get done. Unfortunately, we decided to use a different vendor.

I can’t be more happy with my house curb appeal. Elite’s Team was professional especially crew member Vincente, he made sure he communicated all details with the home owners during the entire process. Raffy was a pleasure to work with as well and there’s no concrete product out there like Elite.

We hired Elite to pour our front steps, back patio and carport. We hired Elite to take care of some architectural concrete features on our modern home remodel. It was our first time working with Elite and won't be our last. Their office staff and field crews are all great people. Their field crews were very professional, wearing PPE when necessary and extremely skilled. Raffy, Marcelo and their team are the best in the business. We asked Elite to re-do our garage floor and front walkway and we wondered why we waited so long. The garage floor is so smooth that all the kids want to skateboard on it. The front walkway was done in patterned concrete and looks like natural stone, perfectly matching our house. About 5 years ago I commissioned Elite concrete to re surface my porch and drive way. Their work was exemplary and we have been very satisfied with the end product. This spring I noticed the winter weather had broken a part of the decorative concrete off the porch area. I contacted Raffy at Elite and asked him what product I could use to repair it. He responded same day and told me not to worry about it, he would take care of it. I then forgot about it, as it wasn't really a big deal. They listen to our needs, contribute ideas and provide great customer service. We still a have small section in the rear to complete and if we decide that concrete will be used for the finishing touches, Elite will be chosen again for the 3rd time. Driveway, Veranda and Walkway Dear Raffy and Marcelo: I first noticed this company transforming a driveway and veranda in my area. I watched the prgress for two weeks as they worked very hard finishing the job. I stopped and talked to the owner and asked if they were happy with the results. They said they were very happy. I decided to call for a quote and a gentleman named Raffy came to our house and wow did he know his stuff. Marcelo came to our house and the design layout was made. A work crew showed up with a gentleman named Leo in charge of transforming our driveway,veranda and walkway. The crew arrived daily as promised working hard and long hours in the heat. We pre-selected two top concrete companies from homestars.com for our project. Elite Designed Concrete is the best based on reviews. Raffy came in to do the evaluation in next day after a phone call. He gave a better solution and more competitive price (he is very knowledgeable and friendly). Before the project started, Marcelo came to discuss the detailed design which best fits our environment - leaving a grape vine and a tree untouched. The project lasts 3-4 weeks as they projected. When the project started, we knew it was in good hands. Marcelo responded my questions almost instantly. The team members are very professional and friendly…it looks like they work for their own backyard projects. They even did extra work to fix the broken curb of our driveway (connected to the front entrance). This makes our next task (re-paving driveway) a lot of easier. The project exceeds our expectation. We had our concrete driveway and walkway installed in the summer 2014. Raffy and Marcelo were very responsive despite the back log in projects. After the first winter, there were several cracks that appeared across the driveway which I didn't expect. Raffy personally came over to look at the cracks and assess the damage. After discussing the situation with me he offered to completely re-do the driveway and the damaged portion of the walkway where the cracks were located at no additional charge to me. Needless to say, I was very impressed by Elite's commitment to customer satisfaction and their dedication to stand behind their workmanship. They sent an excavation crew to rip up the driveway and Marcelo and his team followed up the next week (August 2015) reinstalling a brand new concrete driveway. Consistent with my experience the prior year, everyone from the crew was extremely courteous and left the work site in clean and tidy condition each day. Raffy and Marcelo emailed me regularly to update me on the expected timeline of the various stages of the project which was very helpful. After the driveway was installed, Raffy even reimbursed me for the cost to replace a few shrubs that were damaged when the excavation team removed the old driveway. All in all, I was extremely happy with the job that Raffy and Marcelo did. Their commitment and dedication to customer satisfaction was really above and beyond what you would typically get from vendors that I've dealt with before. The scope of our project was to add a cold cellar, re-do our porch and steps. The designer who completed our drawings referred us to his contractor with the reassurance he would be overlooking the projects to ensure they were performed and completed properly and professionally. Unfortunately this turned out to be the worst experience/ nightmare we have ever encountered. Unqualified workers; extremely disappointed with the service and performance; damages to the property; the contractor was very unprofessional and dishonest; we paid more than what was completed; a project that should have been completed within 2 weeks dragged for over 8 weeks and still was nowhere near completion; as for the designer, we’ll never require his services again. Now in the 2nd week of November; we were pressed for time and needed to find someone to complete the project before the cold/ snow started. We were also concerned another Company would not want to finish someone else’s work. - I read about Elite on Homestars and was quite impressed with all the reviews, so I decided to give them a call. I spoke with Raffy and briefly explained our situation; within the hour he came to see the work and told us he had no problem taking over the project. Raffy was very understanding and supportive, he reassured us the work would be completed and not to worry about the cold/ snow as they are well equipped for all weather related conditions.
