John and crew from Garden Invaders installed a brick walk from our garage and back patio to the garden gate; they also laid sod in our backyard. I can't praise them enough! John met with me shortly after my call, and we discussed various ideas. Within a few days, he and his crew were digging and hauling the big pile of dirt in the area we wanted bricked (left over from building the deck.) Because of the height of the garden soil, they had to put a step down from the walk through the fence gate. I thought it would not look nice, but it adds to the charm of the backyard! John discussed every detail with me, and explained his reasons for angling the path in certain ways; he clearly showed his engineering background and I'm glad I listened to him. The brick walk is not only beautiful, but has a sense of style of balance. Thank you guys!

We hired Garden Invaders to install brick pavers around our garage and a front parking pad, and then to come back again to repair some of the brick that had to be removed for a big house renovation project. John Gardner (the owner) is always very responsive and professional. He shows up when he says he will and his crews work diligently. One thing that I like is that John is always there supervising his crew to make sure everything is done right. His prices are competitive and the quality of his work is very high. We've now hired him twice and would not hesitate to hire him again.

Preparatory excavation and installation of a 81 sq, ft. garden patio and an 11 ft. walkway paved with stonework. Having discussed our plans with John Gardner of Garden Invaders for a patio, been presented with an estimate, and come to agreement on terms, we made a special request: that the work be accomplished in very short order, owing that we were hoping to have our garden in presentable shape for a memorial get-together for our deceased son in just a few days. What happened was beyond what we would have ever thought likely! John and his splendid crew, despite being in the middle of a big job, responded mercifully, arriving within a day. They prepared the ground in one evening and completed the work the next day, a Saturday, the later part in the rain, not stopping until the work was done. The results were beyond our expectations, excellent, with a more ample and refined walkway to the patio than we had hoped for. Every detail is perfect. John and the three men on his crew all applied themselves with amazing efficiency and good cheer. We never had a better experience with contract work.

John provided us with a detailed quote with diagrams of the brick pavers we would like to have done. The design was very attractive and we found him to be very knowledgeable and easy to work with. He picked the most complimentary colored pavers to go with our home. His work crew was probably some of the nicest, hardest working individuals we have ever dealt with. Always on time, courteous to our neighbors, and at the end of every work day left our home neat and clean. The job took roughly three days, exactly as John had said it would. When it was almost done ,I remember looking at the front of my home and thinking out loud, "absolutely beautiful". We will be hiring him again to help update the landscaping.

John provided us with a detailed design for landscaping of our small city yard. He was very professional and had lots of interesting ideas. He seems to have a good eye for design which is not always the case with landscapers. I enjoyed working with him for that short time and have no doubt he would have done a good job for us. We were not ready to proceed with the project at that time, but I would not hesitate work with him or recommend him to friends.

It would be great if all contractors had the integrity, patience, and determination to satisfy the customer that was demonstrated by John Gardener of Garden Invaders (even when dealing with exacting customers like me). Of all the estimates I had for a new paved patio, Garden Invaders was the only one to submit detailed drawings before any job was commissioned. Recognizing my concerns with cost and visualizing the end result, Mr. Gardener saw to it I saw sample products and adjusted his drawings to meet expectations. The crew worked hard, efficiently and with thorough accountability. My neighbors, enthusiastic compliments, visit often to enjoy the patio with me, and I recommend the company often. Interestingly enough, it was Houzz website photos that helped me decide the type of designs I preferred.
