Grizscapes

Hi, I'm Nicholas Grisby and I’m the owner and have been doing this since 2012 I’m currently studying horticulture, entrepreneurship and exterior agriculture design at Cincinnati State. I would like to share some background information. My parents taught me to be well mannered but to also have fun. I was the smallest baby of four but now I am a whopping 6’9” and I have to avoid hitting my head on door frames. When I was eight years old my older brother was sick and I asked my mom to let me mow the grass for him. That was the beginning of my future. I convinced my grandmother to let me cut her grass for $25.00. We moved to a bigger house with a bigger yard which allowed me to sharpen my skills. I started to mulch, trim and weed. I was able to expand with the help of my parents who got me a Ford F250 pick-up truck. I was now mobile and it allowed me to create a small landscaping company. I bought a commercial mower with money I saved. By the time I was 16 I had about 13 weekly customers and about 20 mulching jobs and other landscaping projects. My parents helped me learn about good customer service, management of accounts and to grow my business. Advertising has its place but my business primarily has grown by the quality of my work and through word of mouth. I now have over 60 residential accounts and I have done some large commercial accounts. As I continue to provide outstanding customer service and grow my company, I look forward to making Grizscapes a household name and look forward to Grizscaping your lawn.
