Northstone

It's been 2 years since Northstone redid my garden and walkways. Everything still looks beautiful. I recently had a problem with my birdbath and Matthew, at Northstone, responded quickly to help take care of my issue. Service then and now has been excellent. Back to enjoying my garden :)

We contacted Northstone for a quote on a swimming pool and they replied promptly. We scheduled a meeting the same week and discussed ideas for a new swimming pool. From there we designed it together with Matthew, their landscape architect. He helped us create a more cohesive space in our backyard. He even noticed little things that we didn't! He was very attentive to detail and a pleasure to work with. Now our pool looks like its straight out of a magazine. We are very pleased with the results.

Northstone did our driveway and walkway 3 years ago and when I called Matt about a loose stone and a cracked paver there was no hesitation, within days the stones were repaired and look great. I dealt with Matt and Luke for most of this project. As someone who tends to worry easy, and likes to make sure things are being done right, I have to say that Matt and Luke were extremely helpful in making sure things were being taken care of, and taken care of correctly. If something was off, they were quick to resolve it. And if I wanted some very minor things changed or adjusted, they were more than willing to do so. The 3 different teams that took care of my project throughout October were professional, and helpful if I asked them any questions, directly. Northstone handled the remodeling of my backyard from A to Z, which is exactly what I was looking for. I look forward to future projects for my front-yard! Highly recommended.

Northstone recently replaced our driveway and retaining wall, along with the installation of a patio stone border and front patio area (not seen clearly in the attached photo). They changed the whole look of our house and we could not be happier! The experience from start to finish was client centred. The owner and engineer visited our house several times and discussed colour of stones, types of stones and how to improve upon the existing driveway. They made sure we knew what the work would entail and that the outcome we wanted could be achieved. Furthermore, they worked with us to choose a date to start and they respected it. They confirmed the date of each stage of work and advised us of any delays due to rain. For us this is a first working with a company. There were several teams, each with their own expertise, that performed each stage of the construction. All the teams was respectful, polite and knowledgeable and they shared information about the work with their colleagues on the other teams. Through the process, the engineer visited our home to ensure that the work was being completed to our satisfaction. The customer service is second to none and we were so happy with the outcome. Our friends and family have all commented on how the new driveway changes the look of our whole house. Our next door neighbour even had Northstone do work at their house. We plan to have Northstone do all our landscaping jobs.

It was a privilege being able to work with Matthew, Luke and the staff at Northstone! One of the smartest, most organized and professional teams I have ever worked with. The landscaping work required at my home was quite extensive, as it was needed to solve a serious drainage problem. From Day 1, Matthew, Luke and the team had a clear and solid plan in place to permanently resolve the issue. Not only did they work extremely hard and efficiently, but were also available during off hours to answer any questions or concerns we had. In addition to permanently resolving the drainage issue, the Northstone team had great taste and design ideas and was able to transform our yard into a modern paradise! We worked with Matthew for our backyard project (pool, fence and deck). The experience is stressful but with Matthew's help and patience we were able to enjoy our yard early in the season. Northstone helped with the design, choice of material and subcontractors. Advising us when a price was good and where they could do better. We wish Matthew great success in his future.

Northstone group did excavation and paving of my driveway this summer. (2016) Staff made suggestions regarding design and explained pros and cons of those choices. The driveway was completed in the time frame expected and the cost was as agreed upon. The workers were polite and efficient.

We hired Northstone Landscaping in May 2015 to build 2 retaining walls as well as 2 columns in front of our house. The one condition I was concerned about when hiring a landscape company was their ability to meet deadlines. Not only did Northstone absolutely meet the deadlines they set in place for our project, but they completed the project with care and great respect for my property.
