Mulligan's Landscape did a number of projects for us this summer including: - adding decorative hardscape pillars to the end of the driveway - adding a retaining wall to repair an erosion issue - removing a number of overgrown shrubs and replacing with new ones - adding decorative landscape lighting throughout the property The work was all done in a timely manner and the end result looks fantastic. They keep in contact throughout the process to update on status and solicit feedback. I plan to use Mulligan's again for future jobs.

We hired Mulligan’s Landscape and Design to build a patio between our garage and an existing pool. The project included a large patio, some veneer work and reconfiguration of the surrounding fence. The owner, Ryan worked closely with us on design ideas and material selection. He was very responsive and quoted us several options. The project was started on the scheduled week, during which we met the foreman KC. Once the project was started, there were no work interruptions and the progress was steady and predictable. There were a few tricky obstacles to overcome with the fence and gate relocation but they were able to blend them nicely into the existing fence. Ryan kept us up to date throughout the project; he was always accessible by phone or email and constantly made sure that we are satisfied with the work. The finished patio looks even better than we expected. We are enjoying our beautifully transformed back yard and we are very happy that we selected Mulligan’s for this project and would highly recommend them for any landscape project.

My wife and I hired Mulligan's Landscaping to extend a brick patio, build a retaining wall, replace our crabgrass lawn with plants and planting beds. We found the in Houzz. Ryan, the President of the company, was immediately responsive. He was consultative as we worked through several iterations of drawings. He made suggestions that would save us money and allow us to reallocate funds to hire Nancy Danaher as a landscape designer and build out the plantings. The Mulligan crew was always in a good mood. I told Ryan that one of the subtle things we appreciated was that they don't play music. It would have been fine if they did, but it is impressive to see them work, quietly enjoying their work. The end result was beyond our original expectations. This was the best contract experience we could have wished for.

We had a badly leaning poorly built retaining wall. Ryan removed the wall designed a very nice two tier replacement and built it. It came out wonderfully. Poor drainage was one of the major issues with the old wall. Ryan did an amazing job of removing a huge quantity of heavy clay and putting in a huge amount of stone backfill with drainpipes and created a pipe system for dealing with the water coming from the house gutters. We couldn't be happier with how the final wall looks. It went from an eyesore and a danger to the centerpiece of our landscape.

I can not say enough positive things about Mulligans Landscape and Design. The owner Ryan was very quick to respond when we reached out for advice on how to fix some loose bricks on our front steps. Ryan came to assess the issue we discussed a plan and he started the work. He took his time and made adjustments as needed such as replacing some bricks that were unable to be salvaged! He made sure the steps were safe and made sure we were happy with the way it all looked. He was approachable, friendly, and excellent at his job. I would highly recommend Ryan and Mulligans Landscape and Design to anyone. I look forward to working with him again very soon!

Recently, I had a patio and front walk installed by Mulligan's Landscape and Design. The job had already been started by another contractor but was never finished. A friend of mine recommended me calling Mulligans for an estimate. The job was originally to be a concrete patio and walkways around the house. The front walkway was like a ski slope and needed to be flatten. The job was not a easy one. The first meeting with Mulligan's went well. The owner took the time to review the area needing work, listened to what I wanted and presented different ideas on what could be done. By the end of the meeting, I had a whole new design. Mulligan's did an awesome job on the install, worked hard, polite and kept me informed the whole time. They didn't just meet my expectations, they exceeded them. Timeline provided for the whole project was two weeks and even with rain days they stayed within the time line. In the end, I have an amazing patio and front walkway.

I called Ryan 8 years ago at the suggestion of a friend to re-sod our yard and was impressed by his prompt response and attention to every detail of our project. When it came time to do some patio work, Ryan was my first, and only, call. He managed to enlarge our existing brick patio so that it blends perfectly with the old patio, it looks like it was always there. Ryan and his crew(KC, Sean, James, Brant) did an outstanding job and never once complained about the heat or the difficulty finding just the right bricks to make a seamless transition. We could not be more pleased with the outcome to do more work in our yard and will be calling Ryan in the future. Jay & Rosalie, Newburyport, MA

Excavated grass/soil and installed a paver sidewalk and patio in our back/side yard. Provided a solid, deep base (~8-10") of crushed stone and sand for pavers. Compacted the stone multiple times to ensure it was well-packed. Set the pavers and worked with us without complaint as we made last minute requests/changes. Throughout construction showed concern that we were happy with the final product, which we certainly are. Careful of job site to minimize damage and re-landscaped with loom/seed where necessary. We highly recommend Mulligan's Landscape & design for patio installation.

We had an absolutely amazing experience with Mulligan's and the results were simply incredible! From the very beginning, Ryan and his team were professional, friendly, and incredibly diligent. We knew we wanted to have a patio built off of our porch, and had a vague idea of where it would go, but that was pretty much it. Ryan came and spent over an hour with us to discuss the possible layouts, design options, material options, etc. But, he really listened to what was important to us and provided helpful suggestions for how to give us what we want with several tiers for pricing. During the entire construction phase, Ryan's team often provided very helpful suggestions on how to improve the layout and work in real-time, which Ryan communicated to us in the same manner. It made for a very easy communication flow and resulted in us getting a much better finished product that we every imagined. If I could give 6 stars, I would!

Mulligan's Landscape is a highly professional, prompt and courteous landscape company which we highly recommend. We had Mulligan's build a wall around our new above ground pool. It came out beautiful and was nicer than we had anticipated. We get numerous compliments from family and friends. The crew was timely, non-intrusive and cleaned up beautifully after themselves. Later, after we were misinformed from a different lawn company about the state of our lawn after the pool install, I contacted Mulligan's for help and they came in during the busiest part of their season to fix it all and lay sod and our lawn ended up being beautiful all Summer long. We also had contracted with Mulligan's to design some flower beds along our fences which again are beautiful and exactly what we wanted. We are a repeat customer and would recommend Mulligan's Landscape with absolutely no reservations whatsoever.
