Sylvanus helped us design our front and back landscaping. The staff if very professional and friendly. They listened to what we wanted and designed it perfectly. They had great communication. If you are looking to do a landscaping project at your home, whether it is soft scape, hard scape or both I strongly suggest you consider using Sylvanus Landscaping. They do 5+ work on a 5 star scale in my book. Blair, the landscape architect was wonderful to work with. He had very creative ideas that incorporated our desires for the finished project. Blair was very hands on and also very responsive to our needs. He reached out often as the project progressed to make sure it was going according to plan and to ensure we were happy. The crew lead by Diego and Andres did an incredible job making that plan a reality. Transforming our back yard to include a fire pit patio by the land front, landscaping throughout the yard as well as a beautiful multilevel paver patio around our pool. We hosted a wedding at our property in Muskegon in mid-August. My plan was to purchase plantings to enhance the landscape, but I was not sure what options were available within my budget. The owner of Sylvanus, Blair, was enthusiastic about the project, sensitive to my needs and made an ideal proposal. He designed a beautiful focal landscape with quality mature plantings which were arranged in an impermanent installation. Additionally, he advised me about other areas of the property to help complete the inviting look for the event. He paid careful attention to detail and designed and realized a landscape vision that was perfect for the day. Our guests were stunned by the transformation and very complimentary. Finally, the care used by his crew, led by Diego, when installing and removing the landscape after the event was impressive. I highly recommend Sylvanus for any landscape needs!

Sylvanus Landscaping did an exceptional job on my project. The communication between the owner Blair Acker and myself couldn’t have been much better and it was greatly appreciated. The proposal from Blair was unique and reasonably priced, with no last minute surprises. Since I winter down in Florida, I wanted my project completed before I left and therefore it was initially scheduled to be done by September 1. When it was rescheduled and completed by late July I couldn’t have been happier. The Sylvanus crews’ attention to detail resulted in a beautiful job that has received numerous compliments from my neighbors. Sylvanus Landscaping rebuilt our patio and it looks amazing! We moved into our house 5 years ago and the patio was put in by a landscaping company by the previous home owners. It was not put in properly with the right ground materials and the pavers started to "sink" into the ground. Sylvanus had to dig out all of the old pavers, dig all of the dirt and put in new aggregate and soil to provide a firm foundation for our patio. The work was fantastic! Blair and his team incorporated the existing pavers into the new design to make the patio look outstanding. The entire crew for Sylvanus was excellent, led by Andres and Diego. They gave me a date when the project would be started and completed and they stayed on schedule and the quality of their work exceeded my high expectations for quality and style. Also, Blair is a master designer. He came up with an incredible design based on our input for the new patio. I highly recommend Sylvanus for anyone who wants quality work at a fair price. Blair's company just finished our project last week and we couldn't be happier. They did two other projects in our area and my wife and I were very impressed with the creative approach, materials used and quality of workmanship on both projects. We contacted Blair, he came out and looked at our project and listened to our ideas. Blair quickly came back with a proposal, which we had to adjust. Blair worked with us and we came up with a proposal that met our goals as well as our budget. Two weeks later his crew arrived and completed the whole project in one week. The crew was on site every day until the project was complete. The crew was fantastic, worked very hard and did everything possible to make sure our expectations were being met.

Very pleased with the beauty and design. Always kept us informed. Very creative definitely the wow factor! The workers were very polite.

This is a very creative landscaper, however do not pay them, or write a review before all of the work is complete to your satisfaction. I payed them $10.000 and was shorted egg stones, bark, and black dirt. I called Blair several times and every time he would tell me "We will be out tomorrow to make it right". They have not made it right to this date and it has been a month. He was also pushing us to write a review before the work was done. Maintenance Free INC.
