Simply Moving LLC

My partner and I hired Simply Moving to pack and move everything from one apartment to another about 5 blocks away earlier this year. All in all we incurred several thousands of dollars in damages, plus the cost of the move itself including charges for boxes we didn't use. After months of attempting to get even so much as a refund for the empty boxes we were charged for Simply Moving has refused to even offer an apology for what happened. They damaged or destroyed nearly all of our furniture. Including a solid wood dresser that will cost over $1000 to replace, a $1000 lamp that's irreparable, most of our dishes, artwork, the list goes on. They packed things so poorly that it was as if the movers had never done this before. They charge you for every box and roll of paper, so packing empty boxes and then hoping you won't do anything about the extra charges when you realize must be their way of jacking up the price. When we initially discovered the damaged items we immediately emailed Simply Moving about this and were asked about the type of third party insurance we purchased. Said it would be up to 3 weeks before we would even hear back from anyone in their "claims department". Meanwhile, we continued unpacking and begin to find more and more damaged items that were clearly from negligent and careless handling. Three months later and Simply Moving has refused to fairly compensate my partner and I for the thousands of dollars worth of furniture and irreplaceable artwork they willfully destroyed. They insist that dishes broken into shards are in "almost perfect condition", or that a lamp with the plug broken off is totally usable. As what? A doorstop? They won't offer even so much as a refund for the empty boxes they fraudulently charged us for, or for the services we didn't receive. The complete lack of customer care is offensive after paying so much for moving and packing services. There's just no need to be so careless as a business. Simply Moving just doesn't care. Avoid Simply Moving.

I have moved at least three times in my life, but always with family & friends assistance. This time, it was a big move for me and I was feeling totally overwhelmed by signing contracts, paperwork, etc., so I needed professionals. I was blessed beyond measure to find Simply Moving! The owner came to my home to see what needed moving, talked to me and assured me in every sense of the word that his company and staff would take the stress off of me and did they! The movers came to my home and quickly & carefully packed my items and then transported them to my new home. The service didn't stop there - they carefully and strategically bought all of my items into my new home...again, I was overwhelmed...they made suggestions as to where I could place things when I could no longer think straight, my dining room table leg had always been hard to tighten and make it stand straight, but they did it...there was nothing that these men did not do to ease my burdens or confusions. They were amazing! Simply Amazing!! Thank you again Simply Moving, thank you!

Full packing of 1300sq ft condo and move approx 250 miles to another State. Rep came out, gave me a Total price which ended up being the only price that I paid - no hidden charges. A team of 4 came out to pack. Very efficient but also respectful of my belongings. Used their storage until my new place was ready. Same guys delivered and unpacked. Would and will use again.

These guys rock! Extremely happy we chose Simply Moving to take care of our office move -things couldn't have gone any smoother! Rock came for our onsite and was quick to answer any questions or concerns we had. I was expecting some frustration as we (my company) went back and forth a few times adding more moving items/taking away items from the moving list... but Rock handled us like a champ - super friendly, beyond patient and knowledgable. The movers arrived on time, were super nice and professional, took their time to wrap items up and pack things accordingly and moved everything out with ease (and no damage). I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a moving company... seriously, if you're looking, look no further. Give these guys a call and save yourself the time and stress!
