DO NOT USE - PRICE GOUGING, MISMANAGEMENT, DECEPTION, POOR TIMELINESS, UNFULFILLED SERVICES Using them for our out-of-state move from Seattle to San Francisco was one of the worst experiences of my life. I kept a detailed list of all our grievances regarding the move that spans many pages. My full review does not fit here. My attempt to summarize: • The original quote that they "reel you in on" is predatory — we ended up having to pay thousands above the estimate • There were constant delays on their end with poor/little communication • When the mover finally showed up, the first thing he did was to attempt to change our estimate from 800 to 1200 sq ft — adding an extra $2000. Our mover said we could dispute this after the move was finished (spoiler alert: we couldn't). • Our mover lied about when he would arrive at the destination. After missing the first arrival date (without proper communication), he actually called to tell us he would show up the next morning. He didn't show up. The next day, someone else from United Nation Van Lines called to tell us that our stuff is arriving the following day — a day we had warned the them ahead of time would not work (our new apartment had a strict rule that two tenants could not move in on the same day). They said if we couldn't do that day, we would be charged upwards of another thousand dollars. Their(!) mismanagement and poor timeliness would be the reason why we(!) had to pay. • We tried to deal with the company. Every time we try to speak with them about these issues, it is frustrating, stressful, and hopeless. When we tried to speak with a manager about our case, they would not give us a number and said that they would call us. They never did. PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND AVOID!

I would like to suggest to every reader of these reviews that United Nation Van Lines is the right choice for them. I have hired them for the third time now and can say with confidence that they do what they promise quickly and efficiently. They also do it at a good price. I am comparing them to the three other movers that I have hired over the past few years, including two that are huge national moving company franchises. What United Nation Van Lines did was match all their good points but forge its own way where it really matters for customers by pricing itself lower than their rates. They give me the best value and I am sure I will make it a fourth hire soon.

5 stars. Each of those 5 stars is completely deserved by United Nation Van Lines. They blew me out of the water with how fast their team works. That is not just in reference to the moving crew but also the workers in other departments of their company. For example, the sales manager was very fast in getting back to us with the prices. When it came to moving day, the truck had arrived on our street about 20 minutes before the scheduled time. They called us a few minutes later and said that they were ready to start. They finished the entire packing and loading stage well ahead of time. I am truly impressed by their work and will hire them again.

Every move is a pain in the neck and all you can do to make it easier is hire the right people for the job. In my case, that was United Nation Van Lines. They performed to the expectations I had of them after reading the reviews online. I was initially skeptical because of how gushing the praise was but now I know that it is because they fully deserve every kind word from their clients. I chose United Nation Van Lines despite the slightly higher price tag but it was fully worth it. In fact, if I could back in time, I would switch to them for my previous moves as well. No qualms about recommending this very reliable company.

The movers arrived on time and were quick about getting to work and completing it on time. In fact, they finished ahead of schedule even though I noticed they were very careful with the bigger and more expensive items. They were quiet and hardworking, preferring to let their work speak for itself. I’ve had very friendly movers in the past who just use chatter as an excuse to run down the clock and get overtime. Everything was safely transported and arrived in tip-top shape at our new home in North Carolina. A great move and one that fully earned 5 stars.

My first concern with any move is whether the people can be trusted to be on time. In the case of United Nation Van Lines, that is always the case. In the 3 moves that I have hired them for, they have always stuck religiously by the schedule they provide, and usually arrive early. I also like that they are priced in the medium level. Most of the others in this tier are nowhere as reliable or efficient. I will keep hiring them because they have earned my business.

So, my first impression of United Nation Van Lines was great, which is a clear 5 stars. Now, when they have completed the move, I can see that they are priced just right. It is a very professional company with clear protocols about who does what and strict timelines that they follow. Very impressive. I loved the job that they did for me and would hire them again.

The perfect moving experience! We hired United Nation Van Lines for our move from Richmond, VA to Orlando, FL recently after considering about 10 of their competitors who provide the same service between these 2 states. Part of United Nation Van Lines's appeal to me right from the start was the team’s attitude when I called to enquire about prices. They were so open and willing to elaborate on how to choose the right package for the best balance of convenience and cost. It really helped me to make an informed decision and ultimately save many thousands of dollars compared to what the other moving companies had quoted to us. If a company is willing to cut their profits for their customers, you simply can’t go wrong!

5 stars and 1 reason for each star. 1 – They are affordable, just in the median range of professional moving companies. 2 – They are open with their pricing structure, which makes it easy to budget an interstate move. 3 – They use only high-quality packing materials to keep things safe. 4 – The staff is very polite, eager to work, and does a great job. 5 – They are punctual, both for pickup and delivery. I would hire them again in a jiffy!

I believe this was my fourth time hiring United Nation Van Lines. That is partly because I don’t like to switch providers with anything but also because United Nation Van Lines has always been such a reliable and safe company. They have earned my confidence over the years and I don’t think twice about entrusting everything in my house into their hands. If you are looking for a decent company that can match your changing needs, you can’t look beyond United Nation Van Lines. I recommend them highly.

Well worth the cost. That is how I would summarize United Nation Van Lines based on my first move with them. We were shifting our 2 bedroom apartment in New Jersey to a 3 bedroom one in South Carolina. Not a large job but many of the quotes we received were absurdly high and completely out of our budget range. United Nation Van Lines’s quote was the best and they seemed the fairest. We got what we paid for and are happy with our choice.

A lovely move by United Nation Van Lines. We racked our brains to try and find fault with any part of the move but have been unable to do so. Basically, United Nation Van Lines met our expectations in virtually every sense. They were very polite, which was nice of them. Overall, a completely positive moving experience because of these guys and well deserving of 5 stars. Very happy to have chosen them.
