I hired One New Creation for a third time, following two bathroom renovations and an exterior painting of my house in New Orleans’ historic Garden District. All three projects were completed on time and in line with my estimates. The work for all three projects was museum-like quality. I recently had my home re-appraised and the value of the home increased $200,000+, which the appraiser attributed to these three renovations. I couldn’t be a more satisfied customer.

After clearing out a termite infestation in our living room wall we reached out to a couple businesses for quotes on getting the damage repaired. Mario got back to us almost immediately and came by promptly to take a look. He didn’t sugarcoat anything and gave a fair assessment and quote of what it might cost, being realistic that the damage could be worse or better, depending on what was found when they opened the wall. Mario and his team were professional and prompt with the work that was required including demolishing the interior portion of the wall, repairing damaged framing, redoing the drywall, and painting. They went above and beyond by touching up some paint work that was sloppily done before we owned the house. The finished wall looks like nothing happened. Communication throughout the process was clear and all of our expectations were met with the cost of the project coming in under the expected budget. The crew did excellent work and were very good about cleaning up the worksite at the end of each day. I am very satisfied with the work One New Creation does and highly recommend them for similar projects.

One New Creation did extensive termite repair on my house, essentially replacing one full corner of my living room, top to bottom and inside and out, as well as most of the overhang of my front porch and a portion of the corner on the other side in my front office. Two other contractors and a roofer had said they repaired the damage previously, but I could tell it was still an issue. So I called One New Creation. Mario and his crew were able to start the work within a month, and it took a little over three weeks to complete. He gave me the best cost estimate he was able to, and we spoke near daily about the conditions he was finding and what he thought could be done to repair it, as well as discussing what was within budget to complete. He frequently took up-close photos and then took the time to explain to me what needed to be repaired. The crew arrived on time every day and cleaned up the site every day. I highly recommend One New Creation. They are affordable, communicative, and aware of what is within their skill set (which is considerable) and where they should refer out. I almost hesitate sharing how awesome they are, because I definitely want to use them again - if I have to!

I had a floor furnace removed and the area patched. The work was done timely and professionally and the wood blends in well despite me not having them refinish all the nearby floors.

One New Creation did a great job with a porch clean up job. I needed the old wooden boards under my concrete porch to be removed to prevent termites. Mario their sales guy did a great job explaining scope, price, and timeline. He also surveyed and explained a possible worst case scenario and ball park on what that could be. Luckily his initial estimate was spot on and his guys executed the job under their proposed price T&M. I’d definitely recommend them and utilize their services again.

My new favorite Contractor! One New Creation LLC removed and replaced the rotting wood from my house and increased its structural integrity by adding supports that weren’t originally there. The guys at One New Creation did an excellent job fixing wood rot damage around the frame of our exterior door. They were able to take the door out, rebuild the frame, repair the damaged floor and sub-floor and re-install the door in a day and painted/finished everything the next day. Every step was clearly explained before work started and the lead contractor contacted us a couple of times to ensure that we were satisfied with the work. A very professional and competent organization overall. I would recommend them for anyone who needs work done on their home.

We hired Mario and his team to paint the exterior of our Garden District double shotgun home, and to do repairs as needed to restore its condition. We selected One New Creation because we were convinced they would do things right. And they did. The quality of workmanship on all the carpentry and painting was truly outstanding and we received many comments from neighbors and friends on what a good job they were doing. Not unexpectedly, with a 175+ year-old house, the scope grew considerably. Mario was always straightforward and communicative about the additional charges and willing to discuss and explain our options at each decision point. We ended up not only replacing a significant amount of wood siding and trim (which was expected), but also replacing some structural framing, totally replacing the front porch, getting custom french doors milled to match existing ones, doing some roofing repair and upgrades, rewiring exterior lights and outlets, (which also led to some interior repair and painting), and replacing all the gutters and downspouts. In short, this grew to be a huge project that spanned several months. The painting job was a fixed price and while more expensive than other painters, was worth it. Everything was properly scraped, sanded, caulked, primed, and painted to give a result that will hold up to New Orleans conditions. The renovation and other work was done on a time & materials basis and Mario did a great job giving progress reports and estimates for the added work. All of One New Creation’s subcontractors were excellent and Mario took responsibility for their work and communicated with us clearly and proactively on scheduling and delays. In short, this is a top-notch renovation contractor and we would use them again with no hesitation and recommend them strongly.

Mario and his team are absolutely top notch! I'd absolutely recommend them for any of your remodeling needs. They did a full kitchen and a full master bath remodel and I am thrilled with both. They ran into issues with both and kept me up to date the entire way and fixed the issues with ease. When you start remodeling older homes, issues can arise and that was the case with my jobs. The communication was also top notch the entire way through the process. Mario made sure we were happy with the final product before sending the final bill for the job. After 2 bathroom remodels, I hired Mario and the crew from One New Creation to do an exterior of my house in the Garden District of New Orleans. Their work was perfection. They spent at least 3 weeks meticulously prepping and restoring the house before painting to ensure the finished work would be perfect. What I anticipated to be just a paint job was a restoration of historic district standards. My house was restored to late 1800s perfection. More importantly, Mario’s payment installations kept me informed of costs so nothing was unexpected. At one point I had to acknowledge that I couldn’t afford to do a few things that I should have likely agreed to, but Mario understood and didn’t try to up-sell me or put pressure on me to do more. I could not be happier with this company.
