Wendy completed several room wall repair s and painting jobs in my coop in addition to faux painting of a stairway and fireplace surround. The results were amazing!! I thought I would need to replace the staircase. After Wendy's work, the staircase looked as if it had been reappointed with a new banister and hand rails. Wendy is thorough, professional, and artistic. She is so much more than a painter. She has a deep understanding of color coordination in a room environment and takes time to think about the end results. She is a true professional!! I recommend her highly!!!

Wendy recently completed a project in our home. She painted a brick wall and fire place. I had some idea of what I wanted but was not sure how to integrate it with the rest of my home decor. Wendy did a brilliant job. She is a talented artist with a real design sense. She considers the entire home, not just the immediate space, when designing a project. She also considers the taste and style preferences of the homeowner. The end result for our project was spectacular. She had a vision for the space and made it a reality. She transformed a very dated wall, that I just wanted to cover up, into a gorgeous focal point in a suite of rooms. I would highly recommend Wendy.

Wendy painted one of our bathrooms. I sort of knew what I was looking for in color. She took my general idea and made it beautiful with a blend of colors that turned an uninteresting room into something striking.

Wendy painted the ground floor of my townhouse in Mt. Kisco. She was reliable, consistent, and got the job done in the time frame promised. She was good about sanding/plastering the spots that needed it (where nails had popped out a bit from the Sheetrock over the year - and all the picture-hook holes, cracks, etc. etc). She also has great sense as a decorator. She helped me arrange furniture, brik-brak, etc. and picked out the colors for the painting. She has a great sense of style and it helped me get the place looking really put-together. She has great endurance to keep working and get the job done.

We hired Wendy and her partner to redo our brick fireplace and repaint most of the rooms in our home. Very artistic and made excellent recommendations on type of paint and treatments. Could not be more pleased.

Wendy Van Buren has acted as a color consultant, painter, cabinet refinisher and plasterer for my historic home. She has performed miracles on all finishes and is a true artist. She is extremely professional, especially about completing work to very high standards. I appreciate that she is honest and works within the budget that is set so I can be confident that there will be no surprises at the end. I have worked with her for a number of years and will be having her back to my home again soon. The Project Cost amount reflects a number of projects that Wendy has done in my home.
