More than 20 years ago, our founder picked up a brush for the first time — not in Utah, but on jobs in a different country, learning the trade the way most painters do: one job at a time, on other people’s crews, on houses where the prep got rushed and the callbacks came six months later. What stuck was the standard he set for himself: do it right the first time, or don’t put your name on it. The Trend Paint is where that standard landed — a Utah company built from the ground up around it. His wife runs the books, the phone and the schedule. Their kids grew up carrying drop cloths, then rollers, and now they run walls of their own. Husband, wife and kids, one crew, one last name.
