I am 100% satisfied with the work that was done in my home. The worker was on time, efficient and neat. The repairs are flawless!!! Business wise, they are horrible. My experience with Ken, (owner, supervisor, dispatcher or whatever) was unreal. We actually argued via text over a price increase to a quote he put in writing. Admittedly, it was a small amount but my initial dispute had to wait 24hrs because Ken didn't immediately respond. It went downhill from there. Just so you know, Ken and I were in a full blown argument 1 day after the work had been completed and payment made. If anyone affiliated with the Wall Doctors ever try to contact me or missuse my information, I will take legal action.

You decide! I was told by Ken that my wallpapered walls would be cheaper to paint if they applied oil based primer and filled the gaps with mud (drywall goup). OK, set the appointment and 2 men shoed up. They spent 8 hours applying the products and painting. They told me they would have to come back the next morning to finish the job. Part of our contract was for them to paint the woodwork around the 2 windows. They returned and told me they were finished. I went into the room and the window frames were not painted. They called Ken and were told there was a misunderstanding and that they needed to paint the woodwork. Ok, this happens. They left and the work seemed good at the time. During all the applications and detailing, they were using just the lamp we had in the bedroom, no other light source. The afternoon sun finally came out and all the stripes from unfinished mudding were visible as seen in the first pic. At night with the bedroom lamp it was worse. The mud wasn’t even feathered. I called Ken and he said he would take care of so he asked my schedule. I told him Friday I would be there at 9:20 AM so he said, “I will rearrange things and have someone there.” On my way home at 9:10 AM on Friday I get a call from Ken saying, “The guys are working 21 miles away and won’t be there until 12:30 or 1:00 and he would keep me posted. He also asked if that was “ok”. I wasn’t happy but I said yes. At about 1:30 I get a call saying it will be closer to 2:00 so I expressed my unhappiness that a whole day has been shot. Ken replied in an email (quotes), “I am doing the best I can…I can’t have guys sitting waiting until 9:30 start… they need to be producing@ OUR time of 8am”. Oh, so what I was told earlier wasn’t true! They should at 1:50 and for the next 5 plus hours they were trying to fix what was messed up. Luckily my wife viewed the room and said it was ok. The 2 other attached pics show the ripples in the paint and the bleed through in their work which they told my wife was painted with 3 coats. Earlier I had asked them were their work light was and they said they didn’t have one, so I gave them MY drop light. They paint and put up dry wall mud and don’t carry any of their own work lights? I find this amazing since Ken told me his people, “are professional!” As I told him, “There is never time to do it right the first time but there’s always time to do it again.” The next day “I” spent 4 hours finishing a job that I paid quite a bit to have done. Would you recommend them?

We were so impressed with Illinois Wall Doctors! We had a leak in our ceiling, which caused an 8'x6' hole. Ken not only responded promptly and worked with our schedule, he was able to have someone come out and get the job done in one day. His prices are beyond reasonable and the whole experience was professional and easy. Thanks, Ken!!!

We had a great experience with Illinois Wall Doctors. Ken was great to work with. They were prompt, affordable, and did a fantastic job!

Had a few issues, the person in charge basically called me a liar. Overall the work was good with a few exceptions and very poor customer service. The painters accidentally placed our curtains on a shelf in the garage that had oil on it that ruined the curtains and the brackets to our vertical blinds were lost. I had to clean up a million spots in the living room and the kitchen which I didn't discover until after the fact because they finished the project early and I could not supervise cleanup since I had to pick up my family from the airport.

Ken was one of several people who contacted me in December 2018, when I was looking at painters. I told all of them I had decided to wait until January 2019, and Ken was the only one who contacted me again in January. I contacted more painters in January, and Ken politely waited until I received those bids. His estimate as well as his professionalism when examining my house impressed both my husband and me. Ken just finished painting about 95% of the interior of my house and did a fabulous job. His work and his communication skills are excellent. I highly recommend Ken, The Wall Doctor.

We hired the Wall Doctors to do some work around some skylights. They removed wood paneling and replaced with drywall, finished and painted. They also replaced existing ceiling fan/ lights with new ones provided by us. In and out in under 2 days and did a great job with the work and cleaning up after themselves. Reasonably priced and quality work.

I hired Wall Doctors to drywall my attached two-car garage. The workers arrived on time, there were no “surprises” and I felt the price was very fair. The work was completed in two days. Another company wanted eight days! I am very happy with the finished results.

This would be the 6th job the wall doctors have completed for me. They have painted my kitchen and 2 bathrooms...ceilings and walls, installed 11 can lights, repiared a large area of dry wall, installed crown molding, installed 3 doors and painted doors. All work has exceeded my expectations. Ken and his team are very friendly are are very efficient. Also, they do a great job of cleaning up when they are done for the day or with the job. I will definitely be using them again when I am ready to start the next project.
