I have worked with Custom Wood many times for various different projects including my kitchen (twice) and just recently, my master bath. The service was excellent and everyone was wonderful to work with from start to finish. I did not really know where to start with my master bath but Lisa, specifically, helped point me in the right direction as for color choices and I absolutely love it! I cannot say enough about how positive all of my experiences at Custom Wood have been with Lisa, Rusty, and Eric. I would definitely recommend Custom Wood for your next kitchen, bathroom, or closet upgrades!

I am not sure where to begin. After my husband and I decided to go with Custom wood for our bathroom project, (we were changing our bathroom cabinet and countertop) I was very excited. We met with the proprietors to go over details of the project. While I thought about the finish my husband worked out the more minute details which having a background in cabinetry was of great help. The first thing that went wrong was the timing, we were told it would ready between 6-8 weeks. The order was placed in the 2nd week of November 2021. It was only after we called to find out how things were coming along we were told it was going to be 14 weeks (and that was only for the delivery of the cabinet. After the cabinet was delivered then someone came in to measure for the countertop and they needed another 3 weeks for completion. My husband had to call back the cabinet installer because there was a gap when you close the cabinet doors, and a space to the side of the cabinet that needed correcting. What if my husband didn't know, we would be left with an unfinished cabinet. Second thing was, the edge my husband chose, it was an ogee edge, but we wanted double scoop instead of one which is what they gave us. This was so dishonest since when my husband chose the edge we were charged another $12 per foot. The third thing that was so conniving was the face basin. I requested square face basins (it's a double sink) and was given basins that is square at the top but the bottom was round. It seem they chose the smallest basins leaving us with a big space in the middle. This bathroom that should have brought us joy will haunt us as long as we live in that house. When we look at it all we can see are the things we didn't ask for that someone else decided that this is what you get. To top it off we were required to pay all the money before everything was completed. I believe they did this because they knew they were not going to deliver what we ask for. I am really disappointed.

I used them because my parents had in the past for a few kitchens and they loved them. I placed an ordered got the wrong faces for 2 cabinets then they told me I had to purchase the new faces at my own cost, when both my parents were with me when we spoke about what I had wanted. The cabinets took about 6weeks to come in. I had picked out my countertop from a remanence piece at the time of placing order. They came to measure for the countertops but no one ever called or set up a date luckily we came to the house to drop things off otherwise no one would have been there. Then a week later when they were cutting it they said the countertop was broken. So when I went to pick another they said it had a crack in it. I had to pick another remanence otherwise I had to pay the difference. Apparently they don't check to see if anything is broken until the very last minute, and by then there was barely anything to pick from so I had to settle for whatever they had. Then and only then did they say they would send me the 2 faces of the doors that I originally wanted. The day before they came to install countertops they said they would be here sometime and that someone would call when they were on the way. No one called they just showed up. Never asked where I wanted the faucet put in and didn't even place the faucet in. Needless to say I am disappointed in the way my kitchen turned out and should have just went somewhere else.

Thanks to Covid I have been working at home most days since March. I decided to redo my home office. CustomWood has done my kitchen twice and my bathrooms twice, so of course they did my home office. A+ for the suggestions, the product and the installation. I started with Hank and Peggy 35 years ago and continue with Rusty, Eric and Lisa. I highly recommend Custom Wood.

Lisa, I just had to tell you again, how wonderful our experience was with you and all at Custom Wood. We bought our current home in 1999 and the previous owners had done quite a bit of remodeling. It was move-in ready. Well 20 years went by in a blink of an eye and the time came to start digging in! I know,TWENTY YEARS! First stop? Counter tops for our kitchen. Our cabinets are a good quality wood and in good shape, so we decided to keep them. From the moment you met us in the showroom, we felt like family. Lisa, you were so helpful with choosing material and pattern and answering my endless questions. I am incredibly please with our choices. Even after the sale, you have been helpful and even excited for us. Have I sent you enough pictures yet? The installers, C&C, were as patient and knowledgeable as we could possibly have asked for and needed. So thanks again. We'll be back as we move on to the bathrooms. Slow and steady wins the race. I had the pleasure of working with Rusty and Lisa for an outdoor counter and cabinets project. They made the project so easy. They were always available to answer any questions I had. I wasn’t on site for measurements or installation and it came out perfect! Loved working with Custom Wood and would highly recommend them!

Working with Eric and Lisa from Custom Wood in Cream Ridge was a fantastic experience and a pleasure. Throughout the entire process they displayed an extraordinary level of professionalism, support, and availability, Eric oversaw the layout and design which is way beyond our expectations due to limitations of space and structural elements within the home. The detail for all components to flow including moldings and cabinetry was especially complex and could not have turned out better, Eric even provided advice when asked about areas outside his responsibility. We will continue to work with Custom Wood for all our future projects.

Eric & Lisa at Custom Wood are Great! I highly recommend them for any cabinet or countertop project you may have. From the planning stages through delivery and installation they were always professional and accommodating. There were lots of decisions to be made and they were helpful navigating us through all of them. They have a large selection which is great and competitive pricing. We would definitely work with them again in the future.

Custom Wood was fantastic from start to finish! My husband and I had been shopping for cabinets and had gone to a couple of places. We were told someone would get back to us with quotes and they didn't. Then we were waiting for the contractor to contact us regarding ordering cabinets and after 2 months of waiting for him, we decided it was time to look elsewhere. A friend recommended Custom Wood Cabinets and from the minute we entered the showroom and met Lisa, it was smooth sailing. Lisa was so helpful in helping us pick out our cabinets, making suggestions on different sinks, even helping us decide on the hardware. Lisa set up the appointment for Rusty to come out and measure. Rusty showed up on time and he made many suggestions on what we could do with our space. Things that we hadn't thought of like did we want drawers or cabinets? We were so grateful for all his help. The order was placed for our cabinets and they came in on time. Dwayne was our installer and he was awesome! His work is perfection and he is extremely neat. Each night before he left, he would vacuum the area and pile his things neatly in the corner of the room. I don't think there is anything that Dwayne doesn't know how to do. We can not say enough good things about Custom Wood. Lisa, Rusty and Dwayne kept us informed and up to date throughout our renovation. They are professional and extremely nice people. You will not be disappointed in your experience with Custom Wood Cabinets. We highly recommend them!

The staff are very helpful, friendly, and presented numerous options and design considerations for us to evaluate. The ordering and delivery processes were both easy and quick. The cabinets arrived exactly when they were supposed to and delivered to our house at our earliest opportunity. We have used Custom Wood in several remodeling projects and plan to continue to use them in the future.
