Zero stars!!!!! TERRIBLE - save yourself money and BIG headache! I loved this concept on the internet... TERRIBLE product and quality! This has been beyond a nightmare. I started this project over a year ago - I have a high quality home builder who peeped and installed the wall box. It is cheaply made of black melamine - so scratches easily and splints off black veneer easily too so beware... CHEAP! Then first it was bad hinges. They get out of alignment or askew and then you can't lift or close. Peter sent me new hinges - took several weeks - not fast. Then lifting arm broke - I have a mirror as the cover and this is heavy - not sure these arms were meant for this weight... I had to send arm back, then he sent me a new arm, next we got it all up and then finally what we thought was working! No it kept opening itself, hinge on one side went bad again... I am feeling pretty stupid at this point. Then it falls and hits me in the head on one side - breaking the hinge again and the two arms also broke, other hinge twisted and no longer good either... I sent Peter pictures, he says now he has the fix and sends me two more parts but these are boxes where the hinges go inside... I don't have hinges or arms that work so not sure why he is sending me more mounting boxes and that took easily another month... JOKE! Stay AWAY! Waste of good money. I bought the mechanical version - the motor version would have wasted even more money... Feel so stupid and I paid a BIG DUMB TAX...

I found TV CoverUps on Houzz and was so excited to have this concept installed in my "city" apartment -- elegant but small. As I was in the market to buy new televisions anyway, it seemed smart to coordinate the whole package. The workmanship is outstanding -- stunning might be the right word. I sent two beloved paintings to the company and they created the box and sides so they would be perfect. Boxes and art were shipped to my AV team. This was their first installation for this product and the fellows who hung the boxes, set up the televisions, and then used the conduit to hid the electrical line were first rate. Because it is an older apartment I could not hide the electrical wires nor have the system set into the wall. Thrilled -- and so happy to have art hanging on the walls and a television when/if I wish to watch. No valuable floor space was given to a cabinet.
