We hired ADS to design our guest house. We had a vision and Aude was able to not only design what we wanted but to elevate and transform our ideas. We love, love, love the finished product and enjoyed working with ADS every step of the way.

ADS is absolutely amazing! Aude’s creativity and visionary expertise is brilliant! Despite the confines of our existing house and footprint, she was able to expertly reimagine the life flow of our floor plan. The expansion of the front porch and front door has exponentially improved our curb appeal and enhanced our enjoyment of our home and neighborhood. Without adding much square footage due to lot size, the functionality of our home has improved dramatically. I Love our kitchen and look forward to cooking and entertaining whereas prior to our remodel I nearly dread using it. We are so grateful to Aude and her team for guiding us through our remodel. In May of 2020 I began looking for a designer to help realize my dream of a new home in Flagstaff. I am very thankful I already knew about Aude Stang at architectural Design Studio. She was able to develop my vision of an efficiently sized, energy efficient home that is both beautiful and functional. Aude is a delightful person to work with. She is very easy to schedule with and always followed through on her promises. She was able to create the architectural plans for a fraction of the cost of other architects I considered. Aude was always available to work on any revisions or additions during the designing and building process. Aude also provided interior design services that helped me choose all the right finishes for my project. I am very happy I chose Architectural Design Studio to help realize my dreams. Aude has implemented our (vague) vision for home into an amazing set of plans. It is exactly what we wanted, except we would never have known without her. She understand that great design means not only fresh and pleasing look but also functionality. She understands how to work with budgetary constraints. She is very responsive and organized. I do not think I could work with another architect now.

Architectural Design Studio, and more specifically Aude Stang, set a standard of excellence unparalleled! My wife and I have been searching for the perfect place to retire for over 10 years. Finding a vacant lot in Flagstaff was one challenge, creating a house to fit on that lot was beyond the scope of what we dreamed possible. The lot we found comes with many unique challenges (very steep grade, codes from decades ago, etc.) - none of this made Aude even balk at the project. Listening to our every wish, guiding us through the nuances with the county, partnering with the builder, Aude Stang was a constant for us as we transitioned into this next phase of our life. In the midst of a global pandemic, we sold our remote cabin, sold our home, moved to a rental, and purged our belongings in the short span of three months; meanwhile, Aude was in constant contact with us assuring us that this was not only possible, but it would all be worth it. Most impressively was that the majority of our project was completed over Zoom sessions, phone calls and email, as we live in Alaska and travel during this time was not possible. What she came up with is beyond our imagination! The contemporary house she has designed to fit our active lifestyle and quirky Alaskan habits is a work of art. We cannot recommend Architectural Design Studio more highly. If you are in search of an architect who will listen to you, share your vision, and maintain an authentic, compassionate relationship with their clients - look no further. If she wasn't the exceptional architect that she is, she could easily pursue a career as a 'life coach', she is the best, period.

Aude did the plans for our New Build in Flagstaff. . We were looking for an architect that was open to something a little different as we were going for a mountain modern style house. We had initial meeting where she listened to all of our ideas, and walked us through the process. I felt like I had so many ideas for this house and didn't think she could have possibly remembered everything we said. Our initial draft of the plans were spot on and beyond what we could have imagined. She truly listens to her clients and brings in her own perspective and unique style. She was fair on giving us an estimate of cost and sticking to that, as well as finding ways to cut building costs, but not aesthetics of spaces. I could not recomend her more, she was a joy to work with!

Since 2012, I have worked on two projects with Aude, one in Lockett Ranch, the second here on the Mesa. If you are looking for a person who is sincere, authentic and true to her craft, there is no need to look further, just ask any of her peers and builders in this growing community, Aude's repute precedes her. Why do I speak so highly of Aude? Because she personally attends to her projects as if it was designing a place of her own. From beginning to end, Aude's lively spirit, creativity and skill sets are just exceptional.........In short, not only do I highly recommend Aude, if you are considering anyone else, speak to them first then come and see why Aude continues to be one of the most sought after design person in Flagstaff. I am blessed to have met and work with Aude, she has help me create and build a refuge of tranquility and peace, a place of harmony in light with the forest of Flagstaff, deep gratitude Aude.

Working with Aude was a delight. She is professional, stylish yet practical, extremely knowledgeable due to her vast experience, and fun. Her interview process helped us hone in on exactly what we wanted in our home. Based on the results she came up with a final plan that was spot on. Her engineering team was flawless and we received our permit with no changes. Overall we have realized how imperative it was to work with a professional architect and professional engineers to ensure what we saw on paper translated to real life. It was totally worth the money for the excellent service we received and the peace of mind that we are going to have a solid home that we love.

Aude has it all....professionally proficient and experienced, creatively open, excellent listener, strategic/organized/focused in all facet of the project and works very effectively with the City. It is so important to enjoy the process and feel inspired to create what will work for you...we found this with Aude. We greatly appreciate her way of navigating the process with flexibility and pure brightness.

Aude from Architectural Design Studio is nothing short of phenomenal. We had a kitchen leak that forced a complete demo of our first floor. Aude took the opportunity to completely redesign our kitchen to transform it from a functional obsolescent eyesore to a gourmet dream. Her attention to detail, and eye for design made for an incredibly smooth process. Not only is she fantastically creative with design concepts, but her uncompromising work ethic ensured that the end product was absolutely perfect. I simply could not more highly recommend Aude. My only regret is that this review only allows 5 stars, as I would certainly give her more!

I have been extremely happy with the help, guidance, suggestions and vision that Aude has provided in our project. Her positive and upbeat personality made working though challenging decisions a pleasure and her insight on choices that would last the test of time were fantastic. Her connections with local contractors really assisted us in getting quality products and work completed in a timely manner.
