Anne’s approach to design is refreshingly uncomplicated and honest: she is willing to bend the rules to bring together modern and traditional, combining beautiful, elegant proportions with stylish elements. The result is a relaxing environment with ageless, classic spaces that feel fresh and inviting to both home owner and guests alike. Though the majority of Anne’s projects have been homes on Nantucket, she has worked in a number of different places to date; notably Boston, New York, and Maryland. She also designed the chic, beach-inspired interior of Dune, a former Nantucket restaurant. Anne understands that a well-realized interior comes from a true collaboration between designer and home owner. She encourages clients to share their own ideas, examining their lifestyle to create designs that will compliment and enhance how they live. Anne’s interiors have been described as unpretentious yet sophisticated, calm, polished, straight-forward, and enormously practical. Anne creates interiors that instantly feel like home.
