Designs By Becky has been in business for 34 years. I have been designing kitchens and baths since I graduated Morehead State University with a degree in Home Economics specializing in design and food service in 1981. I'm now co owner of Barnes Hardware & Lumber, and do kitchen and bath design along with house design as a division of Barnes Hardware, a family owned business since 1940. When asked to design a kitchen or bath I personally make a visit to your residence to measure an access the location and may suggest ideas to make your kitchen or bath better. The cost of the visit is free if you purchase a kitchen or bath from Barnes Hardware. This is not the only visit I will be making. After designing a kitchen or bath you will find me back at your house taping out the proposed kitchen or bath design on the floor so that you can visualize the spaced proposed. There will typically be 5-10 designs per kitchen or bath showing the variations that are available. This is very personal for me , there is no other person other than the contractor that is responsible for your work. I will either suggest a contractor or you can hire your own person. This is a one stop operation. We can handle most everything . We have most all types of flooring, wall tile , countertops selections along with multiple lines of cabinetry to fit any budget., We are a total lumberyard and hardware store . We are typically considered your "Hometown Depot". We can fit just about any type of budget you have. We have a wide radius of which we serve. We do cabinet designs from Lexington KY to Cincinnati Ohio and from Florence to Maysville KY. Looking forward to meeting you and helping you make your home more beautiful and functional .
