Gramophone was the right choice! The team did a great job of listening to our ideas and goals to then build an entertainment and home automation solution for our new home. The attention to detail during installation and commitment to making the solution work perfectly exceeded expectations. I look forward to the next project!

I was searching for new speakers and began online like many folks. I was zeroing in on a particular make and model. I wanted to actually hear it and tried a large retail electronics and appliance chain but could neither converge on a choice or hear the model of interest. The maker's website directed me to Gramaphone in Timonium, MD. They obtained the speaker of interest and I was courteosly met by their expert Joseph Turner. He demonstrated the speaker of interest as well as some comparables and guided me based on the SOUND I wanted as opposed to advertising claims. In addition, he took the time to demonstrate the range of systems and capabilities offered by Gramaphone. I ultimately selected a Bowers & Wilkins speaker system. It was new to me, but a perfect fit for my desired listening. I am convinced that there is no substitute for direct listening and personal expertise, which cannot be obtained online. For that reason, I strongly recommend Gramaphone and thank Joseph Turner and their staff.

We choose Gramophone to install a complete home network when we remodeled our house in the fall/winter of 2017. We are very pleased with the results and would highly recommend Gramophone. Dave has the job knowledge, expertise and technical skills. He handles technical challenges skillfully, thoroughly and communicates effectively. My one request was to have no cables or cable boxes visible in the rooms where the TV's were located. We have an audio/video rack that controls everything in our home network and it is in a room that no one ever sees. We had in-ceiling speakers installed and the sound is crystal clear. The ridiculously good looking TV's display gorgeous, contrast-rich pictures, incredibly thin and startlingly powerful sound. Dave and his team offered suggestions, answers to all my concerns about what I wanted for the end result. Their technical skills are on the cutting edge and they are the go to person for technical knowledge. They are passionate about their job and the service they provide. They arrived on time, cleaned up after each visit and completed the job on time. They offer a full scale of service that is always available to me, the consumer and buyer. They believe in customer service and you as a client. When I call Gramophone, someone answers the phone and is ready to answer my questions. No more calls to the cable company where you have to press one number after another, then go on hold before you ever get a person to speak with. Thank you Gramophone for delivering on all my requests in getting the best home network system available that also comes with customer service.

We hired Gramophone to custom design and build a home theater for our new home. We worked with Josh who is an extremely knowledgeable and responsive sales rep. He always made sure our questions were answered and our concerns were addressed throughout the long process. We will continue to work with him in the future for additions in our home and would definitely recommend him to anyone who is looking to build a custom theater. His tech team who came out to install were also great to work with -- they were extremely professional. In the end, we are very happy with our home theater. It turned out beautifully and we look forward to enjoying it for many years!

The Gramophone team brought our project through each phase, from dream to design to build to enjoy. We have a beautiful, functional space which has enhanced our property and our time together with family and friends. Each member of the Gramophone team of experts treated our project as if it were the most important work they'd even done. Although I know they have completed far more complex projects with much larger budgets than ours, they approach everything as it if were going into their own home. Bethany Johnson was the designer on our project when we hired Gramophone to convert a guest bedroom into a movie theater. She really served as the project manager in many ways, and was the person I turned to when we needed to troubleshoot. She came up with a beautiful theater design that suited our needs exactly, and all of our friends just gasp when they walk in, it's that lovely. Everything from the carpet to the light fixtures to the movie posters works beautifully together.

We consulted with Gramophone in regards to the renovation of our basement area. We are impressed with their professional knowlledge and skilled craftsmanship which resulted in a Home Theater, Excercise Room, Office, Full Bath and comfortable/attractive Laundry Room. Whenever there was an "issue", it was always quickly resolved. We continue to enjoy our Home Improvement Project and continue to receive many complements from both family and guests who visit.
