Merit Kitchens, MK Designs

We were recommended by our general contractor Keil Design & Construction to consult with Merit Kitchen. MK designer Sarit Izhar was so approachable and waa able to listen to our needs and develop multiple options for us to consider. We could tell she was a very experienced kitchen designer that was able to provide useful and responsive solutions to meet our wishes. In addition, the 3D rendering of the cabinet layout was spot on and provided us what we need to see to visualize what our new kitchen would look like. Sarit was able to draw upon her network to assist with appliance needs. We would not hesitate to recommend Merit Kitchen for any kitchen removation.

We had the very good fortune of connecting with Amanda Narducci at Merit Kitchens in Montclair. Her years of experience and design esthetic brought skills to our kitchen renovation that helped us make the right decisions at every turn. Amanda listened to our needs, how we use our kitchen, and incorporated our vision in such a way that we utilized every inch of space, not just efficiently, but beautifully. Amanda was a true collaborator - she was genuinely interested in helping us find all the right items for our kitchen, from appliances to hardware, lighting and wall paint colors. We found our contractor through Amanda as well, another bit of good fortune. No horror stories here - just the right combination of professionals whose only interest was achieving our dream and our total satisfaction.

We worked with Sarit Izhar and are so happy with our kitchen. We were able to take a schematic and walk through 3D renderings to come up with our final design. We used Brookhaven cabinets and are really please with the quality. Sarit is a wonderful designer and was so responsible to our needs.

Sarit & David were wonderful to work with in designing and installing our kitchen. They were professional, responsive and came up with creative ways to make the best use of our space - all at a price that was affordable and within our budget.

David Earl and the MK Design team have been absolutely incredible to work with. From the initial design consultation to the execution, they have been extremely responsive, available and professional in their conduct. David was a fantastic help taking ideas from our various heads in to a concrete model and then producing diagrams and printouts. He was able to help explain all of our options and finally produce a complete inventory of everything we needed. All cabinets and counter tops for our wonderful new kitchen.

We had some old cabinets in our kitchen that we wanted to add to. Merit's representative came to our home and recommended a current product to match what we already had. And it was a perfect compliment. They showed up on time and within budget.

David has been an amazing resource through all stages of our kitchen renovation, from helping design the layout to overseeing all finishing touches on the cabinetry. He is incredibly knowledgeable and was endlessly willing to answer questions about all aspects of cabinet options and details. We worked with David Earl from Merit Kitchens and he exceeded our expectations. David was very knowledgeable about all aspects of kitchen design. From working with our odd space and presenting options that we had not thought of to being available for our contractors when they had any questions, he was always there! David did an excellent job with our kitchen and 1st floor renovation. We did a large project with change in floor plan, kitchen, butlers pantry and bathroom. He had great ideas and was patient in coming up with multiple iterations and variations until we landed on the perfect solution. The kitchen turned out fantastic.

I can't say enough good things about Merit Kitchens. As someone who takes food and cooking very seriously, (it's part of MY business as well as my DNA) I'm sure I was not the easiest client they ever had but my sales person Amanda was beyond patient and generous with her time and her expertise and when there was a small issue with our countertops they handled it promptly, professionally and perfectly. I can't recommend them highly enough!! There are other locations as well, so please tell anyone you know who is considering a kitchen remodel.

We worked with Merit Kitchens on our kitchen and mushroom projects and were very happy with the results. The design service was extremely helpful providing a vision of what the kitchen would ultimately look like and David Earl was very skilled with the design software and very knowledgeable when it came to understand the capabilities and options with the cabinet maker we ultimately chose. David was good to work with and handled our large project with skill and patience. When we discovered an error in the architect's measurements, we were quickly able to recover and kept our project on schedule. The final result is fantastic and overall, we enjoyed working with Merit Kitchens and David Earl.
