ReTouch Design-Build-Renovate

Worked with Retouch in 2017 to put a new roof on our house and it went well. Now the roof is leaking and Lance can only be bothered to call new customers back. Been waiting 5 weeks for a contractor that would "be out next week".

I had them install a new flat roof on two parts of my house and some misc exterior railing work in 2019. During the work, they were responsive, and overall, I thought the work looked good. Unfortunately, within a year, some of the painting they did started to fail. I emailed and texted them but received no response. It was fairly minor, so I just ended up repainting it myself. This year, 2023, one of the flat roofs started leaking water onto the ceiling below it. I called many times over several months trying to get warranty assistance, and they did come out once and said they'd have to send someone else out to investigate why the roof failed. That was the last I heard from them. Many calls and an ignored BBB complaint later, and they still will not work with me on the failed roof.

We worked with ReTouch to convert our attic space into two bedrooms and a bathroom, and we had such a great experience! We are so pleased with the final product, and the process of working with them was what really made it. I liked that they were considerate of our budget and open to us doing certain things to keep the price where we needed it. They also were really considerate of working around our schedule with having a toddler and a new baby in our house during the project. Would highly recommend!

Retouch handled a remodel of two bathrooms and a laundry room for me. I was thrilled with the job they did. They communicated well, were extremely professional, and the work was done RIGHT. The project manager stayed on top of the job from start to finish to keep it moving and on schedule. The end result was truly beautiful. I highly recommend this company.

We have used ReTouch multiple times and have always been more than pleased. They do qualify work & are very conscientious. They fixed minor imperfections that we didn’t even notice. They helped design our new kitchens and made unique requests a reality – such as a corner pantry with a distressed barn door that my wife really wanted. Our house is far from level, and they created unique solutions that were effective & economical. I trust them and would use them again.

I will start this review by saying everyone I have dealt with at Retouch has been extremely pleasant to work with. However, the lack of commination and planning from Lance was unprofessional at best. There was no clear definition of a timeline, workers would show without warning and then we wouldn't see them again for weeks. I was then contacted by my city saying that although permits were pulled for the job in question, the appropriate inspections were not scheduled and we now need to retroactively address that. Maybe my job just got lost in the shuffle, but I am shocked to see the reviews about timeliness and planning.

We remodeled both our kitchen and living room with ReTouch and couldn't be happier. Quality workmanship, good communication, and very professional. Highly recommend!!

We just finished remodeling our bathroom with Retouch and we could not be more pleased. Mark and Joey communicated with us every step of the way and we are overjoyed with how well it turned out. They worked with us to fit the work into our schedules and always contacted us if something was going to change. They asked our opinions on every detail to make sure the work was done exactly the way we wanted it. Our designer Beth was also great. She provided helpful suggestions while still giving us room for our own ideas. The cost of our project was reasonable. We had a quote from another company that was 1 and 1/2 times what Retouch quoted us. It was a positive experience from beginning to end. We will definitely be using Retouch for our next project!

Our project involved total remodel of two bathrooms on main floor, a hall bath and master bath. We had bids from 4 firms and ReTouch priced the project right in the middle ($40,000) of the price range. Their designer did a good job in helping us pick quality products within reasonable price ranges. They brought samples of everything to us so we didn't have to run around town. The project took longer (4 months) than usual for them because of (1) Covid-19 shutdown related delays in getting materials and cabinets, and (2) because we elected to have one bathroom fully completed before starting on the second one (that was a good decision for us). Lead carpenter Mark Franklin was the on the scene manager and did a great job communicating and coordinating. Everyone was conscientious about their job and responsive to what we wanted. I recommend them and will use them again for the next project.

We had a very good experience working with Retouch. Our only bathroom in our 2 bedroom condo in the Plaza area was in bad need of a major renovation. We knew going in that our bathroom would be a challenge, and it lived up to that but they came through with a minimum of stress on our part. They gave me the look I was looking for and we love it. The contractor was totally professional and had a good crew working with him. He was very good about explaining what was being done, why and getting it done right.

Retouch gave us a competitive bid, started on time, handled the few changes we had reasonably and finished on schedule. Communication throughout the project was outstanding! Workmanship outstanding also!

We love our new two-level deck. They showed up on time, did quality work with attention to detail. Communication was good throughout the entire process. Any problems that arose, were addressed to our satisfaction. We will be using this company again for future projects.
