Brian Clark, owner of Clark Builders Inc. (CBI), was born and raised in Lompoc, CA, by his loving parents, Don and Lana Clark. Born deaf, Brian was raised with a strong belief in the power of faith, hard work, and perseverance. His parents instilled in him the values of resilience and determination—teaching him that, with these qualities, anything is possible. It was alongside his father that Brian gained invaluable experience and a deep passion for the building trade, working together daily for nearly 14 years. This hands-on mentorship laid the foundation for his future in construction, and in 2012, Brian and his wife, Heidi, founded Clark Builders Inc. Together with his father and a dedicated team, Brian has built and remodeled homes throughout the Santa Barbara region. Whether it’s a small repair or a large-scale renovation, Brian’s commitment to craftsmanship, attention to detail, and unwavering work ethic are evident in every project. Brian and his assistant from Clark Builders Inc. recently shored up some areas under our home. They did a fantastic job, were very professional and courteous, and completed the job in a timely manner. We will most definitely use them if we need any further construction work performed on our home, and highly recommend using them to our friends and family. Clark Builders are simply amazing and we can't say enough good things about them. We recently hired Clark Builders for a master bathroom addition and remodel, which also turned into new siding on our entire house and garage, and the results are incredible! Working with Brian and Heidi Clark is so refreshing, they are so incredibly nice, they truly listen to you, they are very knowledgeable about everything building and design related, they work with any size project and budget and most of all, they are honest. The entire Clark Builders team are also equally amazing, so friendly, polite and extremely hard working. They are all great at their jobs and continuously went above and beyond to ensure and maintain the highest quality workmanship. You can tell they take great pride in what they do and the results speak for themselves. We had Clark Builders do a kitchen remodel for us. We can’t say enough about how honest, trustworthy and professional they were. They take great pride in their work. The whole team are truly great people. We kept some cabinets and relocated them to the opposite wall and had new ones built in their place. They look as though they were always there. We also had them relocate our forced air heater too which gave us room for another pantry. The project turned out exactly like I had pictured in my head. So pleased with how it all turned out. This company is totally knowledgeable and great to work with! I needed someone I can trust to complete minor repairs to the drywall for my water heater baseboard and to redirect a gutter outside my fence. From the time the owners came to give me an estimate to do the repairs until they completed the work, they were professional and helpful! Great people to work with and very reliable.

Clark Builders exceeded our expectations! We needed to renovate a large garage into a little house in California, however we live in Maine. The entire project was executed through emails and phone calls, and to their credit, it was thoroughly and expertly built, including all finishings. We are so very pleased with the outcome….everything down to the smallest detail is just as we had planned. We also appreciate their invaluable help with vendors, making this long distance project so much easier. We certainly would hire them again for future projects.

The work site was left in the same condition when they completed work as it was when they started. It was nice to have people work at my home who were friendly and offered suggestions to better the finished product. Their employees came to work with smiles on their faces, always greeting me with good morning or afternoon and seemed pleased to be working with Brian & Don. I would hire them again for any remodel job I may have. Heidi is also great to work with, smiling happy and eager to help when I came to the office. I recently had Clark Builders repair a dry rot area under the eaves. The carpenter was very professional and did a thorough job; replacing more layers of wood than planned. The dry rot had spread underneath to more area than we could see from the surface. I would recommend Clark Builders as a honest and trustworthy professionals.
