Scott is an incredible landscaper. He has completed 2 major projects for me over the last few years. His work in terms of quality; creativity; and attention to detail is at another level. He is very fair in terms of price. He is worth the wait. I would not even consider another individual to complete any future projects. Craig.

I am so over the moon with the job that Scott completed today. Since I moved into this house, I have always wanted to redo the fireplace and add some shelving & cabinets. From the get go Scott and I worked like a team. Typically for me, the contractor does not come with the artist vision that Scott was able to provide. Even though I thought I knew exactly what I wanted, Scott was able to build on my ideas to make it so much more beautiful. It is so refreshing to work with someone who is genuinely passionate about their job. I don't think I've ever met anyone who works as hard & takes such pride as Scott. And am so very grateful that Scott was the person for this project.

If I could give Scott and Solid Ground Landscaping a rating of 11, I would! Scott is the Mike Holmes of the Durham Region. Scott worked with me every step of the way in re-doing the porch in the front of the house, putting in a new porch and deck in the back of the property. He will suggest things that you wouldn't have thought of and you will be happy he does. This guy is a forward thinker which is what I appreciated the most . He works 7 days a week until the project completes. I have never seen a physically harder working man. He thinks of every thing and every step. Scott took me to see a few jobs he had completed over the years. I explained that I wanted see some older jobs to see how they were still standing up. To my surprise patios and driveways were still just as flat as they were when he installed them 8 years previous. Even things like drainage where other contractors skip out he is adamant about what he does so you will have no issues throughout the 4 seasons. I would have made huge mistakes if I had tried to do it myself and not hired Scott. Each day Scott cleaned up the property and at the end of the job, and washed down all the surfaces and left the front and back perfectly clean. I highly recommend Scott for exterior and interior work. He is a master at tiling. Scott was extremely professional, accommodating and respectful of all my needs and timelines. Thank you Scott!

Scott (Solid Ground Landscaping) has done work for us for many years. In August 2017 we hired him to replace our 17’ x 85’ front garden with artificial grass and border gardens. He guided us through the selection of artificial grass products and once we had chosen the grass we wanted, he started the digging up (artificial turf requires a deep substructure and drainage) and then constructing the area which included building low border walls and gardens outside the grass area. It was a huge job and Scott worked steadily for 2 weeks. As he was finishing the job, another professional landscaper drove by, stopped his truck, asked if the grass was artificial, and then pronounced it to be an excellent job. My husband and I thought so, too, along with many passers-by.
