I feel incredibly lucky to have found Amy Fischer, Spectrum Interior Design. Amy’s gift for creating an elevated lifestyle started with listening to my hopes and dreams for our family home. She was able to introduce ideas and elements throughout the entire process from planning to construction to choosing materials and staging that I never could’ve dreamt on my own. The design, build and staging processes were always handled expertly and methodically because Amy is a master of juggling process, timelines, and budget. She’s ever so patient as she hand-held me through these unchartered waters. I couldn’t have asked for a more warm, considerate, and most importantly, talented designer. Amy Fischer is the consummate design professional and I look forward to using her services again in the future on any new ventures that come my way.

Spectrum Interior Design was involved in every phase of our home's design - from architectural plans and construction, to interior finishes and furnishings - and the end result is nothing short of magnificent! Amy and her team combine design expertise, professionalism, attention to detail and a client centered approach that is simply unparalleled. If I could give them 6 stars, I would. Having now worked with Spectrum Interior Design for the second time, I am even more blown away with the results of their hard work, dedication, and complete attention to detail. Quality is in the details, and Amy and her team have not only exceeded our expectations, but surpassed it above and beyond! Spectrum really takes your idea, your vision, your "feel" for what you want, and turns it into a reality. If you're looking for an Interior Design team, I recommend Amy and her Team, again and again.

I first met Amy at my son's baseball game a few years ago. We had just bought a house in Los Altos Hills that needed to be updated. After a successful reupholstering of the 3 exterior patio furnishings with Amy, we continued with a string of small projects with Amy over the last 2 years. This eventually included the kitchen, family room, dining room, living room, powder room, hallway, and complete soft improvements for our 82 foot yacht, all while still living in our home, and using our yacht. Most recently, she has customized our holiday decor, including installation and storage of seasonal items for the home. In the future, we are looking forward to working on a complete master bedroom suite remodel and workroom with Amy, as well as seasonal decor for our yacht. Amy is a great listener and has exceeded my expectations for implementing my vision for our home and yacht. Often, she will introduce new ideas and materials, leading me in directions I had not considered. It has been a wonderful collaboration! Each individual in her firm is personable and professional. Her director of operations, Christina Chappin, is always quick to provide clear updates as well as respond to questions and problems that arise. With only a few exceptions beyond their control, Spectrum Interior Design has met deadlines and budgets to our satisfaction. I am so grateful to have been introduced to Amy by a neighbor, and can't imagine working with anyone else but her in the future! Amy's firm is conveniently located in downtown Los Altos, with ample parking, and it is always a delight to meet her at her office, my home or yacht. Gone are the days of making that commute to San Francisco and walking around the Design Center!

Spectrum Interior Design helped me throughout my blueprint planning, building design and decorating our finished home. Amy worked on my design drawings and really customized our home into an amazing masterpiece. During construction she was on site regularly and oversaw the project with me making sure that I had held a consistent vision. Once our home was completed, we worked on furnishing and decor to bring the project all together. When the holidays rolled around, Amy and her team magically transformed our home into a magical winter wonderland. Years later, Spectrum also helped us design our Carmel vacation home. We have maintained a great friendship and I continue to refer Amy and Spectrum to all of my friends!

After interviewing many interior designers, we decided to hire Amy -- one of the best decisions we ever made. She has worked on two of our residences: our San Francisco condo and custom-built home in the South Bay that she helped design from the ground up; both were fully furnished to become a spectacular five-star retreat with custom-designed furniture and beautiful accessories. Amy's extensive knowledge of all the phases of building a home from the architectural design, construction process, and finishing details were invaluable. This was a huge asset that we didn’t expect from an interior designer. Amy is not just any interior designer, as her experience showed us that her design process from the beginning stages of planning creates breathtaking results. Always professional and yet very personable, Amy quickly learned my style preferences and worked with me to incorporate them while creating an elegant flow throughout the house. Her attention to detail and organization were immeasurable; she was on-site regularly during the construction and made sure details were not missed and deadlines met. Amy really listened and cared about our ideas of what we wanted and completely exceeded our expectations in delivering our extraordinary results.

I cannot say enough good things about both Amy and her team. They have helped us create a dream home that could not have been possible without them. They are very creative, very practical, have an amazing sense of design and style and they listen and understand what you are looking for, even when you can't articulate it yourself. The contributions to the project have been everywhere and have made our home beautiful. From catching architectural problems during initial construction that would be problems later, to designing beautiful cabinetry, to helping to spot when a sub is struggling, to selecting beautiful materials that we could never have found let alone envisioned, to keeping an eye on every last little detail and helping us understand the process of building a home. Quite honestly, we don't know how you can build a house without Amy. My advice to anyone building a custom home is make sure you have Spectrum as part of your team on day 1, they are indispensable for a successful project. They will help take away much of the stress of building a home from you so you can have fun with the creation of your dream home. Amy and Spectrum are amazing.

Spectrum is AMAZING ! Our house is so perfect; both function and presentation. Everything went so smooth from the selection to the installation Amy is a super talent and a real nice person as well. We could not have had a better experience.

Amy Fischer and the Spectrum Interior Design team helped us from house plan review all the way through the build process/construction and complete furniture and home finishing installations. Amy and team were an absolute pleasure to work with through every phase of planning, construction, selections and furnishings. They provided invaluable expertise at every phase. The attention to detail and organization skills were phenomenal. Amy's experience allowed us to be 3 steps ahead of the process at all stages. Amy Fisher is incredibly talented and deeply cares about her clients. She remodeled 2 bathrooms, a small living room and a master bedroom for us. She also decorates our home for holidays. We are avid golfers and asked her to create a master bedroom and bath with the look and feel of Pebble Beach Lodge. What we received is even better! She listens to her clients and creates a space the same way Monet creates a painting. Amy's talent is above and beyond that of most interior decorators. And, her team is amazing - extremely professional, respectful, and down-to-earth. I felt immediately at ease with them, as though we'd been close friends a long time.
