Job took over twice as long as expected, leaving our family displaced for 8 months and responsible for paying for rent the majority of that time. Poor communication throughout project.

We have used Julkowski, Inc. for several projects. Some small and some were quite major remodeling projects. Each project was designed carefully using our wants with their expertise in new options that were available, to arrive at a result that met or exceeded expectations.

Very creative and personable husband and wife team. Rachel does the design work, and Jamie is the general. Our remodel project goals were to modernize our 30 year old four level house in time for our daughters wedding (8 weeks!). We found the Julkowski's at a remodlers showcase, where we immediately were attracted not only by the quality of work, but also their engaging communication style...we felt comfortable from the start. Our remodel was a comprehensive update from ceiling to floors, two bathroom remodels, addition of second floor laundry room, all new trim and railings, and new paint and window coverings throughout. We trusted that Rachel's design choices would work to pull together a common look and feel to what became quite a mishmash through the years...and she pulled it off beautifully. Jamie created a very aggressive timeline to complete the project which was based on seamless coordination amongst all the trades.... Our project coordinator, Caleb, also deserves a shout out as he was the glue on site. All the trades people were top notch in terms of quality and respect as everyone worked to deliver the project on time for the wedding We got to know them all pretty well as we lived in the house durring the whole project! Overall, we cannot recommend Julkowski's Inc highly enough. We are already planning our next project together. .

We hired Julkowski Inc. to design and build a cabin for us on land in Southern Minnesota in 2010. We wanted a sustainable, Eco-friendly structure; Jamie and Rachel suggested using SIPs (Structurally Insulated Panels) which we chose to do. Our experience with the Julkowskis' was wonderful. They are gifted designers, builders, communicators and organizers! Our cabin turned out beautifully and is a treasured place to spend time!

We have worked with Julkowski, Inc on two significant remodeling projects in our home, a kitchen remodel and a master bedroom/bathroom remodel. We are very pleased and proud of the outcome with both projects. From a design standpoint, Rachel is very good at listening and understanding our style preferences and proposing a design that is consistent with the balance of the house, our likes and dislikes and meets our goals. The construction process led by Jamie has been completed on time, on budget and with a level of disruption to our lives only to the extent necessary. We are very happy to have worked with Julkowski, Inc and would recommend them highly.

We hired Julkowski, Inc. to remodel two bathrooms and upgrade the floors and railings on our deck. All jobs were completed according to timelines given, and very professionally. Every single person that came to our house was 100% committed to doing the job well. All questions and concerns were addressed and discussed so that we were completely satisfied with the outcome. As far as the design aspect, they were right on target! Their design put our house in better shape and style than we ever had. We absolutely couldn't be happier!
