Mufson Pool and Design is a wonderful company in every way. My designer recommended them and said if I want the job done right, they are the best. Nat and Pam came to meet us and discuss the property. They had great ideas. They planned, designed, and built from start to finish our pool, pergola, garden, driveway, pathway, and patio. There is no cutting corners. They take a lot of pride in their work and they want to be happy and they want me to be happy. The biggest compliment is that all of the employees are happy and hardworking. I have full confidence in the workmanship. In the many months of working together, we have had many discussions. The customer is always right, even when not! I feel respected and cared for and the project is gorgeous.

Pam and Donna were a pleasure to deal with. Anything that needed adjustment was done ASAP. They did our pool, hot tub, patio, etc. Fantastic quality work all around. Would definitely use them again!

It was an absolute pleasure to work with Nat Mufson and his team, including his very talented in-residence landscape architect Pamela Mufson. Each and every person that worked on this project was professional and efficient. The Mufson team completed our landscaping, pool, driveways and drainage projects on time and on budget, with minimal surprises. Mufson works very effectively with local code officials and expedited our permits and inspections, all of which were approved easily. All of his skilled tradesmen and subcontractors were very professional and understood the goals of the project. We recommend them without any hesitation.

Everyone at Mufson is professional, competent, and kind. The coping around our pool was crumbling. They replaced it with bluestone and used the excess pavers to fix broken ones where they could, even though this was not in the work plan. The work was completed on time, and they fixed a leak in the pool that we did not know was there.

We found Mufson online while researching landscape design and pool renovations. From the moment we got in contact with them we felt right at home. The team was extremely helpful in answering our questions, worked with us on a detailed design plan, and ultimately was able to finish our full backyard renovation before the summer which allowed us to enjoy our new pool. They worked with us on tree removal to provide more sunlight in our backyard, adding a gas heater, new pavers, updated landscaping (including sprinklers and drainage) as well as replacing the pool equipment (filter, skimmers, etc). I would highly recommend Mufson to anyone who is considering a new pool or renovation of an existing pool as we are over the moon with how ours turned out.

Nat and his team did a total redesign and installation at my property. They installed a new paver driveway and Belgian block curbing and entrance apron. Installed new bluestone walkways, new landscape plantings with boxwoods, birch trees and all sorts of specimen trees and shrubs !!! Competitive prices ! Honestly this is the best company well run by Owner Nat who in my opinion is second to none. On top of my project daily from start to finish. And service is outstanding with timely follow-up. They did my pool and landscaping with lighting, sound system etc. This company you get what you pay for as they may not be the cheapest price but well worth the competence and oversite. Nat Mufson and his entire team and family at Mufson pools are the absolute A + team in this business. Every aspect of working with Nat and all of those that work with him, is a pleasure. They are smart, honest, experienced and give you the best advice. They will talk you into making the right decision that you are happy with for the long term. We started our journey with Nat 6 years ago when we wanted to build an extension and met his brother Steve. Steve gave us the best advice and advised us to invest a fraction of that money into the yard instead. We created a design with Nat and Sat on the dream for years. Covid hit and we called Nat right up and he was there that next weekend. He executed on the dream from 3 years prior with an even better plan that we came to together. And we are so happy with every ounce of the work we did. 3 years after building the pool and all of the gorgeous hardscape they designed around it, we moved forward with his new Marquis Hot Tub line that we waited for. We had committed to the idea and did our due diligence. At the end of the day when it comes to service, value and design, you can’t go with anyone else. So we just finalized project #3 this week - in record timing (3 days!). We have more plans in place for the front landscaping next. We wouldn’t think of working with anyone else!

We had a beautiful 20 x 40 vinyl pool and stone deck installed. The whole company works under only the highest of standards of quality and workmanship. My review is on the backside of the pool maintenance. Scheduling the pool opening and closing went smooth and efficient. The office staff are so friendly and helpful. Mufson Landscape, Pool & Design recently completed a total backyard renovation including installation of our gunite pool/spa, porcelain hardscape, stone veneer, covered seating area complete with outdoor TV, heaters and fans , new landscaping with accent lighting and fire pit. They oversaw and coordinated the installation of a pool cabana, new sprinkler system, perimeter fencing, all electric and plumbing services and Sonos surround system. Our initial design consultation helped us envision and guide our project. Every member of the Nat's team was knowledgable, professional and responsive to our concerns and questions. They completed our project on time and with a level of craftsmanship and expertise that is unsurpassed.

Mufson Landscape and Design reconstructed a brand-new pool deck, kitchen patio and side yard for our home (which entailed a massive demolition of the areas that had existed before, the construction of a retaining wall, the installation of pavers, comprehensive landscaping, and the installation of a new sprinkler system), as well as renovating our pool (which included resurfacing and plastering, the installation of new lighting and skimmers, and the replacement of all our pool and hot-tub equipment). Hiring Mufson Landscape, Pool & Design to renovate our backyard and pool is one of the best decisions we have ever made in the 20+ years we've resided in our house. Once we decided to sign with Nat, we immediately got a "start date" a couple weeks out. Based on prior experiences with other professionals, my wife and I thought 'no way this will happen on time.' Lo and behold, we were surprised one morning two weeks later with a Mufson truck in our driveway. I said, 'I guess these guys are serious!' That was just the beginning! Wave after wave of teams showed up thereafter ... tree guys, lawn guys, shrubs, excavation, sprinklers, pool, lighting ... the works. I said to Nat on many occasions that I could not believe how each of these different teams could be so efficient and diligent. Any changes, modifications, or hitches were addressed immediately. Progress was steady throughout .. so much so that we were afraid we might lose an entire pool season before hiring Mufson, to actually getting nearly an entire pool season! We found ourselves looking to get more and more done including the front yard (so we will see Nat this fall). Very, very commendable performance by the entire Mufson team. Our praise in this review is probably not effusive enough. Needless to say at this point, we highly recommend Nat and his team at Mufson Landscape, Pool & Design!

Reliable, incredible workmanship and timely. It is rare to find any contractor or landscape designer with this trifecta but I have to say that Nat and his team really deliver. I have great respect for the work that Mufson Landscape did to help me reinvent our backyard. This was a very large project including a complicated large retaining wall, a complete renovation of a dilapidated pool, the installation of both marble coping and porcelain decking and the construction of a sophisticated outdoor kitchen. We had a very specific wish list in mind for our property, and provided Nat with these "broad strokes" to begin working with. I highly recommend Mufson landscape, pool and design for all services for a pool. They have opened, closed and maintained our pool flawlessly. They did a beautiful resurfacing last summer. When the pool was overrun by mud and rocks during IDA, Mufson had the pool pumped, acid washed and refilled and running smoothly on 48 hours. their staff is a pleasure!!!

We hired Nat Mufson for a major pool renovation and a complete redesign of our backyard. Nat was responsive and a pleasure to work with. Nothing was ever a problem. He answered all of our questions and had solutions for everything that arose. Nat is professional and so are all of the subs he referred us too. We highly recommend Nat. It took me TWO YEARS of calling contractors to get quotes for pavers around my pool. The estimates ranged from 16k to 8k and everywhere in between. Most of them never returned my calls, or showed up to take a look but never sent me an estimate. My long struggle to find the best price and the most professional contractor ended once I contacted Nat at Mufson! Seriously... he came out to visit the site the same day I called! He gave me a written, emailed estimate WITHIN ONE HOUR of leaving my house?!?! I was shocked - Not only was his price the best of anyone I had spoke to so far, but he was RESPONSIVE, RELIABLE, KIND, and TRUSTWORTHY! I immediately sent in the deposit. I didn't want to loose this one, he is THE BEST. But it doesn't end there.... once the job was scheduled, they called me the day before to confirm and let me know the time and work process. His team worked quickly and got the job done in one long day. The work was exceptional, but what really BLEW ME AWAY was that after they were done - they GRADED MY YARD! They used the extra dirt to fill in my plant beds, and then took my unopened bags of mulch and they MULCHED ALL MY LANDSCAPING!! Wait it gets better... then they RE-SEEDED my entire back lawn, and then put hay on top! I was shocked! It felt like VIP SERVICE! Things I never asked for or assumed were done to perfection.... I finally have the paver patio of my dreams around my pool, at the most affordable price, done by the BEST IN THE BUSINESS!!! THANK YOU Nat & Mufson Landscape Design!

After speaking to several contractors, we chose Mufson Landscape to give our eyesore of a back yard new life. Nat's team cleared old, broken concrete paths away and replaced them with beautiful paver walkways and added a paver patio. They also outlined a stepping stone path to the detached garage and brought in new plants and shrubs. When showing off photos of our new yard, one friend said, "I thought that was a picture of a nice sitting area at a local park. I was going to ask which one because it looked like a perfect spot for a family gathering." Nat also introduced us to a fantastic fencing contractor who put the finishing touches on our yard with a fence that gives us some privacy. I’d give more than 5 stars to Nat Mufson Landscaping if I could! Our project involved digging a new pool and building a cabana with a fireplace and outdoor kitchen and we are thrilled with the end result. Nat moved quickly and efficiently throughout the project, typically appearing (quietly) on site before 6 am to make sure the day ahead was on track. As important to us as Nat’s knowledge of his trade, which is unparalleled, was his commitment to the highest level of client service. He is always responsive, respectful and pleasant. If we expressed a question or concern with the project he would work in earnest to resolve it and was never defensive, which is an invaluable trait. We have already referred Nat to friends and neighbors without reservation; he is hands down the best man for the job!

Working with Nat Mufson and his entire staff was truly a pleasure from beginning to end. Not only is Nat incredibly talented and creative, but he also excels in providing exceptional customer service. We undertook a major landscaping project, and while we had plans from a landscape architect, there were things in need of tweaking. We did not always know what we wanted which could be frustrating for some contractors. Nat met with us multiple times, offered his own solid professional advice and took us around to other jobs to get a better sense of our options. He was patient when we still couldn’t make up our minds, but also gently prodded us to make decisions so that the project was completed on time. Communication was excellent. He always took our phone calls or called us back within minutes if he missed the call. When unanticipated issues arose, as they always will on these types of projects, Nat was completely focused on finding a solution and doing whatever was necessary to get the job done. As for the staff, we have never worked with a more dedicated, hard-working and courteous staff. They showed up early and stayed late, even on Saturdays. At the end of each day they cleaned up the property and organized their equipment so it was out of the way. Mufson Landscaping turned our property into a “vacation home” we never want to leave.

We were lucky to have hired Mufson Landscape, Pool & Design to redesign and landscape both our back and front yards and we could not have been happier with that they did!
