Cross Gardens

Zach has provided us with landscape design, installation and maintenance for several years. He is always prompt, efficient and thorough and we are very pleased with his work. We highly recommend Cross Gardens!

Zach did a great job transforming our back lawn riddled with sinkholes into a level lawn that is healthier and easier to mow. He was easy to work with, professional, and totally respected our vision and preferences for our yard. We were amazed how efficiently he completed the job and how quickly the re-seeded grass grew. Back in February of 2013 I moved into a new house in South Philadelphia. The house has an 18’x15’ yard. About two thirds of the yard is patio but in the back of the yard is a 15’ x 6’ section of dirt. I wanted to do something with it but I really did not know what design would work in the space. A colleague of mine referred me to Zach Cross. I contacted Zach and he came to see the space. Zach asked lots of questions and he was a good listener as I shared some of my ideas about the yard. Within a few weeks, Zach had drawn up three different designs with estimates and I chose my favorite. In early spring, Zach worked with me to schedule the project at the most convenient time. He began on time and completed the project in three days. I live in a row house without back access to the garden so Zach had to remove rocks and debris and bring new dirt, plants and other supplies through the front of the house. He was very careful and clean. I am very happy with the final result. The urban garden is simple, inviting and easy to maintain thanks to Zach’s design and hard work. I would highly recommend Zach Cross for landscape designs and projects. He created a great design. He was courteous, friendly and careful with my property. He finished the job on time and on budget.
