My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

McMillan Design is an award-winning residential design firm creating custom home plans and renovations for builders, realtors, and individuals throughout North Carolina. Thanks to owner Michael McMillan’s 20+ years of residential and structural design experience, our highly sought after home designs are Parade of Homes winners year after year. Michael is outstanding to work with. He is very attentive to detail. He is great at design and has a great vision. Anything we wanted changed he was quick with and willing to add advice when we wanted it. We love our plan and would use him again anytime. He was very fair on price as well. Also he was flexible with meeting times with my husband who works late.

Mike was so easy to work with! We started with a plan he had drafted for another family and tweaked it substantially to suit our needs. He was very open to our changes and suggestions and great at coming up with solutions when we ran into issues. He and our builder, C. R Spainhour, clearly worked brilliantly together and assisted us through the design process with the utmost patience. Thanks to Mike and Reeves we are now building the house we've dreamed of for 10 years!
