NATURAL PATH IS THE BEST!!! Their work is STUNNING and Justin is a total joy. We’ve worked with several great contractors, but Justin stands out by far with his excellent communication. He took the time to understand what we wanted, made thoughtful suggestions, was always very responsive. It felt like we were a team working through the entire process from start to finish. Our old brick front steps were in rough shape and our front walkway needed an update badly. We went with solid granite steps and a small bluestone walkway with a cobblestone border. Justin suggested a larger platform to give us space to open the front door without needing to step down off the platform. At first I was worried the extra space would feel too large but I’m glad I listened to Justin’s recommendation. The steps and walkway are absolutely beautiful, they are the perfect size, and the larger platform makes opening the door much smoother. Justin and his team work hard. They were at our house around 6 am every day, they were thoughtful to not use loud tools too early, and finished on time and on budget. At the end of each day, we received an email update from Justin with a recap and plan for the next day. On top of all that, the entire team was so nice, they clearly enjoy what they do, and they create a beautiful end result. We love our new front steps and walkway. Natural path is now our go-to for anything hardscape, natural stone, pavers etc. We look forward to working with them again.

Natural Path Landscaping recently built a patio with a fire pit and an extensive sidewalk using a combination of paver sizes with a contrasting paver border. They also laid landscape fabric and covered that with rounded stone under my large deck. From the beginning of the quote phase and working through all the design details to the completion of the project, Tom was professional, courteous and communicated well regarding all aspects of the job. His team also displayed these same excellent qualities. I told them that they are artists using stone. Their attention to detail is extremely impressive. Their work greatly improved the appearance of my backyard and I'm sure it will increase the value of my property. It has added a living space to my property that I will enjoy for a very long time. I couldn't be happier with the end result and I highly recommend this company.

I used Tom Kraus to build an entirely new patio made of bluestone as well as a walkway. He is very thorough, professional and on time. His crew worked very diligently to get the job done. It’s great to work one on one with Tom from the planning stage all the way through to the end and beyond. I would highly recommend him.

Tom of Natural Path was great to work with. He is quite communicative, making sure to follow up with every step of the process. Best of all, he is extremely bright - he came up with a clever alternative (making the sidewalk ramp up so we would need fewer granite stairs) that got us a gorgeous sidewalk + stairs for not much more than the original stairs we'd requested. His thinking outside the box made a huge difference in the cost and what we were able to achieve. Then, he and his team followed through with very high quality work. Highly recommended.

This is the second time I have hired Tom Kraus from Natural Path Landscaping for masonry work. A few years ago, he did my front steps, walkway and patio. At the time I was impressed with his professionalism and reliability. He listened to my ideas, came up with a great design and did a wonderful job. The work is solid, and after all this time, nothing has shifted out of place, as I have seen elsewhere with cheaper work. Tom was excited to come back this year, check on the old project and make sure everything still looked good. This time they installed a new patio in the back yard, based on a beautiful design Tom came up with. I appreciated that they consulted with me and kept me informed throughout the process, and attended to all details around the project, such as laying conduits and drains under the new path, making sure old structures are well supported and safe, and putting down new soil and lawn after the installation. Tom and Justin are easy to work with, hard-working, and take great pride in their workmanship. They did what they promised and on time, even though it was December and cold and snowy. I love the details of how they matched the new bluestone around the existing, irregular-shaped granite step. I really enjoyed working with Tom and Justin, and I know I could always ask them to come back in the unlikely event something needs fixing. I expect my patio to look great for many years to come!.

Tom, the owner, responded promptly and provided images of his previous work that showed he was up to the task. He came to the house and really listened to our concerns. They installed many tons of granite steps and engineered pavers. Tom, his foreman Justin, and the crew were more than professional, they cared about their work and what it meant for my family. When my husband and I decided to put in bluestone walkways, granite pillars and granite aprons we knew who we wanted to do the job, We were familiar with Natural Path's quality work, professionalism, value and attention to detail. We loved the timeless look and enduring, maintenance free performance of walkways and aprons that let the water naturally drain away. It was a pleasure to see Tom and his guys early every morning and watch our project unfold.

Tom did a great job on our front walkway and steps. He did such a good job, we had him back to do a patio and steps in our backyard.

Tom Krauss and his team provided excellent design, scheduling, construction and account services for our unique requirements. From layout to material selection to on-site work, no detail was missed, and the crew clearly enjoyed what they were doing. We were so please with the first job they did, we hired them again for two more jobs. The best contractor we've ever used!

Tom was always on time, followed through on everything we discussed and did a fabulous job. Our impressive granite entrance and brick walkway definitely added value to our property. We later hired Tom for outdoor decorative lighting and again were pleased with a job well done.
