We did a renovation of the entire first floor of our ranch style home. Monica helped us with the entire project. That was the best decision we made during our renovation. Monica met with us several times before the project started. She really listened to what we wanted and needed and then built her recommendation around that. She provided references to see other projects she had done to give us an idea of the scope of her work. She made many recommendations on style, products, location and orientation of appliances, color schemes and textures. Several things she recommended ended up being our favorite features of the project. She met with us to show us plans and to review the colors, textures, designs of the products we were going to use. Her invoices were prompt, transparent and clear. During the project, she went above and beyond to encourage our contractor to move forward and keep the project moving. She responded immediately to questions. She was present during construction, reviewing the work and making corrections if necessary. Even after completion, she kept in communication to make sure everything was done as we wanted. The products she uses and recommended are of top quality. We give Monica our highest recommendation. It was refreshing to work with someone so professional, who cares deeply about what she is doing, and who was genuinely interested in making our project exceed our expectations.

We did a whole house remodel this summer. Monica was very helpful with the kitchen design and finish selections. She was always prompt with drawings and her pricing was fair. There was no delay with the cabinets or countertops. I would recomend her to anyone doing a kitchen remodel or other areas of their home.

I did an office remodel over the winter and worked with 929 Design. Monica had an amazing built in made and installed with all the extras like a printer cubby. She then picked out the perfect desk that hide all of the wires. Almost makes me want to work longer days! Could not have done any of it with out the expertise Monica had for all the details. She is super easy to work with too.

Monica thought of everything when it came to the remodel of my bathroom. The house was built in 1900 and the addition of the bathroom, kitchen, master bedroom etc was in 1970 ish. The bathroom was big to begin with, but it was not as functional as I would like. I had lofty ideas, but I am on a very strict budget and she definitely kept me in check. The main goals were to have two sinks, insert a wall at the end of the bathtub so it could be enclosed, to have modern things like drywall, paint, tile floor, electrical and lighting updated. With the right contractor, she was even able to get me my goal of a pocket door, so that when you are in the tub, you don’t feel closed in. I couldn’t have done this without Monica, she hit the ground running during our initial consultation and we ended up picking out tile and other necessities that day!!!!! She’s made great decisions for me, especially when I didn’t have strong feeling on certain fixtures. I’m so in love with my new bathroom and I can’t wait to have friends and family over to experience what she has done.

Monica is a fantastic cabinet designer! She offers a vast range of cabinets and counter tops for all budget types. She is great to work with and her customer service is second to none, she is always available to help you! My husband and I were THRILLED with how our entire house turned out, do not hesitate to call her!

When we met with our builder to design our home, we were initially directed to a local kitchen and bath company to create a plan for our kitchen. After several frustrating meetings of being told why our budget, or ideas, had limitations, a friend suggested we reach out to Monica at 929 Design Inc. We had a little more than a week to finalize our plans so the builder could stay on track. Monica was able to meet with us immediately. She asked so many questions that I didn't realize were important but absolutely impacted the function of our kitchen. She was really able to get a feel for how our family lives in our kitchen and created a PERFECT plan for us. She also tackled all of the bathrooms, the basement bar, and our laundry room. Within days, she had detailed 3D renderings and a proposal. Not only did Monica give us everything we wanted (including an amazing hidden pantry, pull out drawers, garbage drawers, and a baking area) but she also gave us better finishes for less money than the original company. For the same price, she was able to give us better cabinets throughout, better quartz in the kitchen, quartz (vs cultured marble) in the master bath, quartz (vs laminate) for the bar, a laundry room counter and cabinets which were missing in the initial plan, and granite in the powder bath instead of cultured marble. Aside from providing much better value, Monica was amazing to work with. She has great style and was always willing to lend her advice about other elements in the room. She is quick to respond to messages and was always ahead of us when any small issues came up. Monica is detail oriented and a fantastic problem solver. She seemed to thrive when having to think outside of the box. We are forever grateful to our friends who recommended Monica. I would use her again in a heartbeat for any other project and will sing her praises to anyone who will listen. :)

We had a wonderful experience remodeling our kitchen with 929 Design. From start to finish, Monica helped us define what we wanted, mapped out the changes needed, presented options (and then more options when we made a change to our flooring choice), and set us up with a great contractor since this was one of our first big home projects. We wanted to work with existing upper cabinets that give our old house character, and Monica brought all of that together with new lowers, hardware, gorgeous quartz counters and paint ideas to create a beautiful, unique space for us.

Monica is the most amazing person I've ever had the pleasure to work with. She has such a positive energy and was SO helpful. I was to rely on her to help me with cabinet and countertop selections and she went over and above an expectations I had. I called Monica for advice in every area of house planning I had.
