I have said so many times: "I don't know what we ever would have done without Susan". We have been working on building our dream home for a few of years. We interviewed and talked to several interior designers before we started construction and decided to work with Susan - and we are so happy with that decision. Every step of the way, she was amazing to work with. We started by sending her a lot of inspiration and styles we liked. She used that to design every little detail of the house. She's very good at what she does. She kept things very organized for us (and for our builder). She always had great suggestions. She was on always on time. She managed the project well. Communication has always been really strong. She's incredibly professional. I could go on and on about working with her. She's the best. The house turned out amazing - all the details, the design, the furnishings. We're still working with her now on rugs, window coverings, accessorizing, etc... We will turn to Susan for any and all future design help we need. She's amazing!

We worked with Susan on our house fifteen years ago, and loved the ideas she brought along with the changes she made to update our home. When we started building a new home in 2025, we knew we would hire Susan to walk us through the millions of decisions a build would involve. I have now been working with Susan for almost two years, as I hired her to help me with the architecture plans all the way through build. I cannot recommend her enough. We are remodeling a home that we just purchased. This is my first time working with a designer, but I knew I had a good one in Susan because she had just completed a home for my daughter and it turned out beautiful! She is organized, efficient, and energetic. She listens, but gives pertinent advice based on her experience. Her decorating pulls together the location, interior and exterior of the house. It has been so fun to see her ideas, and it is such a relief to enjoy this project!

This is the second time we have used Susan. The first time was for a kitchen remodel and currently we are in the middle of a whole house renovation. Susan has been instrumental in the design of the renovation from helping to pick out an architect and then a builder to every detail of every room. I cannot recommend Susan enough! She has been helping me from architecture design to picking out the many, many things I have to pick out for a new build. What I love the most is that Susan doesn't just reproduce the same look over and over. She works to understand your style, and then helps ensure consistency and taste to the whole look. She is so proactive with everything that needs to be done, including setting up appointments, working with the builder, and keeping the entire project on track. I honestly was hesitant to use a decorator because I am confident in what I like and do have definite opinions, so I wasn't sure I needed one. But now I really can't imagine doing this build without her. We are still in the middle of it but she has been a lifesaver. I think without her I would just be tired and overwhelmed as the amount of decisions never end. Do not hesitate for one second to hire Susan if you get the opportunity!

Susan and her staff helped remake my home office. This included a stunning new accent wall, furniture, paint, lighting, and reframing existing art. Selection of finishings was made easy for me; giving me two or three great choices for each. The subcontractors were experts and not satisfied until I was satisfied. We started in the beginning of October, but with Covid delaying the furniture delivery system she has worked extra hard to meet fast deadlines to accommodate the extra time needed for delivery. We're on track to move in by Christmas with most of the furniture in place and she has moved mountains to get the project finished. We are so excited to see everything come together! I've used another designer in the past who I thought was amazing but had subsequently moved away so I was looking for someone to fill her shoes. I found a company out of Denver to help with a few small things but was less than impressed. When we purchased a large and intensive project I knew I needed to find someone great. Susan's reviews looked really good so we scheduled a meeting with her......we were impressed but deep into the project we knew we truly found someone second to none. Susan is on top of everything - from great response time, to the technology she utilizes to help assist in designs, to styling options, to assistance with all contractors, she was amazing! We couldn't have handled this undertaking without her and it certainly wouldn't be turning out to be our dream home without her assistance. I can't recommend Susan highly enough!

Susan is a remarkably talented interior designer. She quickly grasped both the physical aspects of our remodel intent as well as the kind of "look" to which we aspired across the entire remodel. Her feel for design, color, and contours was outstanding and consistent throughout multiple areas and functions of the re-design area. She was easy to work with and frankly, a delight to have around. She was a great communicator and responded quickly to any and all requests, and made all the necessary appointments with all kinds of vendors. I would not hesitate to use her again and have already recommended her to friends who have asked who we used for our design work.

Susan popped up on House as a designer for a kitchen and family room remodel on a 1920 style bungalow. Susan was candid about her costs, prompt to answer emails and those instant decisions contractors force, very clever to take you a step or two beyond on design and very reasonable to spread out costs which was helpful on he budget. My husband and I love entertaining in the beautiful new space and pinch ourselves each time we enter!

I would highly recommend Susan at restyle design as we couldn't be happier with our kitchen remodel and changes to our family room. When my wife and I made the decision to move forward with the remodel, we knew if we wanted to stay married that we would need to work with a designer who could bring our sometimes varying desires into one cohesive design, and also help us navigate the myriad of choices that would have to be made. We identified three potential designers through Houzz, and we were immediately sold on Susan based upon her design ideas, and her approach. She has an ability to actively listen and map your ideas, likes, dislikes to a design that fits your style. She is conscientious of costs and overall budget, and is flexible in providing varying options within a design as well as approach to the decision making process. One of the things that we appreciated the most was during our first meeting she asked us if we would prefer to go to each store (appliances, tile, counter tops, etc) and she would guide us through decisions, or if we would like her to narrow things down in each category to 2-3 items, bring us samples and we could select from there knowing that if we didn't like something she would bring a few more items forward the next time. Based on our discussions with her, we were confident in her abilities to bring us 2-3 items in each category, and we were not disappointed. In fact, I believe this saved a significant amount of time in the project and headaches, angst and stress for my wife. We initially planned on simply utilizing Susan for the design portion, but after discussions we happily had her manage the entire project from beginning to end. There were hiccups along the way, which we expected with a project of this scope, but Susan handled them extremely well and utilized her experience and relationships to minimize them and ensure work was done appropriately and as efficiently as possible. In closing, the transformation to our kitchen and family room, and how smoothly it went could not have been accomplished without the help and guidance of Susan at restyle design. She is a true professional and amazing at what she does.

We'd never worked with a designer before, but we knew we'd need lots of help when moving from a 1,000 square foot house to a 5,000 square foot house. We started from zero and, with Susan's help, built a new vision that fits our style just right! We initially hired Susan in the autumn of 2016, and over the past 8 months, she's helped us find almost an entire house's worth (7 rooms so far) of furniture—along with custom pillows and rugs, as well as coordinating contractors for painting, floor refinishing, and a few small remodeling jobs. Susan's communication skills are excellent, and we really appreciated how she worked interactively with us using Google Slides to share ideas and virtually move around and try different types of furniture in our new home. Susan usually spotted and took care of any problems before we even noticed them, but whenever we needed follow-up contractor work or to replace or exchange defective furniture, Susan took care of everything with no problem. Overall, we really appreciated Susan's professional manner, and we're loving how our home turned out—the mix of transitional, craftsman, and industrial furnishings are just our style, and we've already gotten lots of kudos from friends and family!

Restyle Design was recommended to me by a friend of my daughter after i purchased a condo in old town, Fort Collins, Co. I wanted a more clean industrial look rather than the more traditional look that was there originally. Susan was professional yet very real & listened to my wants. Susan, her staff, & other vendors were very responsive & very easy to work with & the results are outstanding.

I am currently working with Susan on remodeling my kitchen, family, living, and dining room, and worked with her 2 years ago on a smaller project. She comes up with creative ideas on how to make the most impact within a given budget. She is very easy to work with and responsive to questions that come up during the process, making sure her customers are completely satisfied with results.

My husband and I are so pleased with the expertise and support we have gotten from Susan. We moved to a new city this past March and found Susan right away to work with us as we built our new home. She was instrumental in helping guide the selection of building materials (wood flooring, carpeting, cabinetry, tile, tub, faucets, etc.). Susan worked well with our builder; she guided us through the selection of fabrics, window treatments, lighting, furniture and decor. She has a large variety of support craftsmen/craftswomen for woodworking, draperies, etc. that she can call on to do custom work. Susan has an excellent eye for what will work, she had lots of suggestions (but not so many that it was overwhelming) and she has an excellent ear to listen to our vision for our home. The final look will definitely have a cohesiveness that my husband and I couldn't have possibly pulled off on our own. Additionally, when it comes to logistics, Susan took a load off of us by being a project manager. Susan's very organized and kept up with all of the details on a major project like ours. She communicates well and returns calls and emails promptly. And, we particularly like that, although we have our ideas, she's not afraid to suggest alternatives if what we are thinking needs some revision. But, she's so gracious about it that we have appreciated her input. Lastly, she's sensitive to value so that what we purchased makes sense. We were able to determine when "to splurge" and when to "be more modest without cutting corners" so that the look is awesome but it's all within budget. As we are heading into the closing months of this build, design, and decor, our house is becoming our home. Her guidance has really made a big difference; this project has been exciting and rewarding. It has been a team effort and we now count Susan as one of our friends in our new town. We highly recommend Susan whether the project is small or large.

I have worked with Susan on several different projects over the last year. I have found her to be great and easy to work with! She has creative ideas and always keeps in mind my budget. She is dependable and responds promptly to all inquires. I feel very confident in her knowledge as a designer and in making design choices for my home. I have not been disappointed!

I contacted Susan to help us put together a plan for our dated kitchen, dining and living room. She reviewed our inspiration boards and budget, and put together a design that perfectly captured the style we were hoping to achieve. There were a few decisions that I wavered on and a few times that I completely changed my mind, she never seemed bothered by having to select alternate options as the design evolved. It took about 6 months for everything to come together, she helped us through every step. She is the second designer that we've worked with but the only one we'll choose to work with in the future.

I was embarking on a total kitchen, guest bath, family and game room renovation and although I had ideas of what I wanted, I needed help pulling those ideas together and coming up with a final concept. Susan helped us come up with a beautiful and functional design by looking over my idea books and making suggestions based on those ideas. She met with us and our cabinet manufacturer to come up with the right plan, then helped us make final choices for tile, accents, carpets, LVT and paint colors. Although Susan was not managing this project, when I would panic during construction and send her that urgent text of "did we order white or grey quartz", she was always available to ensure I was getting what I wanted. The final design is everything I wanted and the project was as flawless as construction can be.

We were moving from Boston to Colorado and needed to get our house in shape before we landed. Susan helped us furnish an entire 4000 square foot house from across the country, coordinated painting the entire interior and recarpeting the upstairs as well as installing new hardwood in the dining room. She has impeccable taste and the house has come together beautifully. The very best part of working with Susan however is she is incredibly organized, responsive and kind. She would mail us packages of swatches and would recommend stores in our area to go to look at items in person before we decided. We never had a single worry in the entire process and our home is exactly what we asked for. Cannot recommend more highly!!!

Dear Houzz- Please consider this review for 2015 best of houzz!! We brought Susan in to help with interior design decisions on a major remodel of our "forever home". It was important to us to have our personal taste throughout the home. Too be honest, I was reluctant to have help with the design input for concern of losing that "connection" with the possessions or materials in our home. Susan's professionalism, creative eye, and organizational skills are exceptional. She was tremendously helpful in supporting us with our interior material choices as well as room furnishings. The time saved on making choices was invaluable to us. Frankly, we didn't have time for our own indecision, which we admittedly struggle with at times. Over the past three years Susan Kosonocky advised my wife and me about the overall interior design for the kitchen, living and dining rooms, and three bathrooms in our house in the Landings area of Fort Collins. Once we made the necessary choices of the design, materials, fabrics and colors for the work, she supervised the implementation of the projects from start to finish by workmen of her recommendation. Most of the implementation work took place while we were away (six months at our house in France) and the work--and our house--placed entirely in her care. My wife and I have had experience working with interior designers on other residences in New York (Manhattan), Cincinnati, and France. We have good familiarity with their professional capabilities and competences. Frankly, we begin to exhaust our supply of superlatives when we talk about Susan. She has it all. She has exquisite good taste (no doubt the reason why she was chosen as a buyer for Bloomingdale's at a prior point in her life), but her special talent is in matching her good taste to the preferences and needs (including budgetary) of her clients. We've never met a designer who could do this so well. She has an amazing "knack" in finding the design layout, fabric (for sofa and drapes), kitchen counter material, floor tile, wall color that meets the client's own tastes and needs. She is resourceful in presenting a manageable range of options without confusing or distracting the client, she suggests without being domineering but in the end she lets the client decide without being intrusive. We are at times simply wowed by her creativity within the bounds of good taste and practicality. She carries interior decorating to a fine art. Susan also manages projects through to their successful completion. Our confidence in her was well placed as we put our house in her hands in the summer of 2014, when we replaced our kitchen floor tile, installed granite counter tops, and renovated three baths. The work was done--by her suggested workmen--in an exceptionally competent and professional manner. Upon our return from France, when we questioned a floor tile that appeared to be ever-so-slightly different from the surrounding tiles, she immediately had her workman come to replace it at no cost to us. She is a perfectionist in every positive sense of that word. Susan is high-energy, pro-active, dynamic, smart, and talented, a good listener who gets things right the first time, confidence-inspiring but always personable, professional and deferential to her clients. Head and shoulders above any other professional we've ever dealt with in her field. Even with the considerable experience we've had with other professionals who do what she does, we are simply dazzled by her capabilities and performance. A final word: In speaking with everyone who deals with Susan, whether workmen, suppliers, vendors, or others, one finds that Susan is extremely well-liked as a person, which is a real credit to her in a tough and competitive business. We moved into a new house this past year and I wanted a new look and new furniture for the house. Susan was able to figure out the style I liked and was able to select furniture pieces and fabric that fit my style and the look of my new home. My house looks great and so inviting. She was also able to give me feedback on several other decisions we were making on the home and she was always quick to respond. She is a very knowledgeable designer and will work hard to help you purchase exactly what you are looking for.

We had our master bathroom completely remodeled, including displacing a seldom-used jetted tub to make room for a larger shower, and a vanity. With all the decisions to be made in such an endeavor, Susan became a trusted consultant. She spent time understanding our particular preferences and provided helpful suggestions along that line. We never felt pushed toward more expensive options or unnecessary extras. The light fixtures, granite, tile, cabinetry, etc. have been a great fit with the rest of our house, and the contractor she recommended was excellent. All materials were high quality and were delivered on time for the project. Susan has a solid knowledge of local and distant vendors. Rather than go to the cost of replacing our staircase, Susan recommended we paint our railing an ebony black, the balusters white and our front door black, it completely transformed our entry and was very economical - looks amazing! She also helped me select beautiful custom drapery and window coverings for our master bedroom/bath and helped select new carpeting for our entire house. Very pleased with the results.

Susan did an incredible job working on our project. We wanted to update our original window treatments. The fabrics and colors helped to bring our dining room, hallway, and living room up to date. When we moved within town last summer, I enlisted the help of a local designer, Susan Kosonocky, to help me change up our color scheme. We went from primarily reds and golds to yellows, greens and blues. This was Susan's idea and I absolutely LOVE these colors together. They are perfect for our home that sits on a lake, helping to bring the outdoors inside. Last fall, Susan's photographer took some pictures of our new home for marketing purposes & just emailed them to me. Looking at these photographs makes me feel like I'm living in a home I'd find in Architectural Digest! We hired Susan to help bring life back to our tired and dated family room. It is now gorgeous, functional and current. Susan is incredibly talented! We hired Susan K. with restyle to help us with our girls rooms, our great room, kitchen window treatments and re-upholstering our kitchen chairs. We are so pleased and happy with how everything turned out! My oldest daughters room is a "Paris theme" which is so fun and colorful! My youngest daughter went "Surfer girl" and the colors/ideas, how she designed each wall where art or a small surf board went are so much fun! Each room feels so good when you walk in. The great room, kitchen chairs and window treatments went from dark and boring to light and cheery. We went w/ grays, rich charcoal, lime, cream and fun rustic orange colors. Every piece came together and we just love for example how the chairs have throw pillows that match the drapes, She is so good at arranging too, whether it is furniture or frames.....a lamp on a table, everything just looks so much better after her visit. :) We especially love spending time in our great room! Everyone who walks in just says this room is gorgeous and feels happy!! Susan is great! She came with lots of fabrics and ideas to choose from including a board with a collage of different couches, tables, lamps........she was always positive and so fun to work with! I hired restyle to update my kitchen nook. The entire space was updated from the window seat, artwork, rug and lightening fixtures for what I considered a very reasonable cost. Being a mom with 4 kids, I do not have the time to go looking for accessories and ideas for updating rooms in my house. She is my "go to" interior designer who brings everything to me. I love her classy ideas, especially the "idea boards" she provides. She is easy to work with and flexible with budgets. I have recommended her to several friends who have all been very pleased with her work as well. I love my house because of her help and creativity! I cannot wait for her to do the next project in my house.

I worked with Susan Kosonocky of Restyle Design on a dining room remodel. She could not have been more pleasant and professional to work with. Susan's design sense is stunning and I always felt as though I had as much say in the decisions as I wanted. I always felt comfortable that I could take the time I needed in order to make the right decision for this room. I also really appreciate Susan's ability to achieve a stunning look within the budget I provided her. Her guidance, no doubt, brought the restyle to its beautiful completion but I still feel as though the room is a complete reflection of myself and my family. I will work with Susan at Restyle on all of my future projects. The experience was just that wonderful!

Susan helped re-decorate our entire main floor including everything from furniture and window treatments to candle holders and picture frames. The process was unbelievably enjoyable and the outcome beyond expectation. Susan was exceptional at presenting options that fit our personal style and budget. She was extrememly organized and attended to all matters in a timely and efficient manner. To top it off, Susan possesses a fun and enthusiastic personality and I found myself missing her once the project was completed. Overall, I could not have been happier with her services.

Susan has helped me with a multitude of project and each one has turned out beautiful. She is very professional, easy to work with and has an amazing eye for design. Her designs were beautifully laid out for me to visually see the lay out of each room and also included fabric samples for me to feel. Susan has been very punctual with my designs and quick to respond to any questions I may have had. My husband and I both trust Susan so we call upon her for all our little or big design dilemmas and she always helps us through. She is a pleasure to work with and comes highly recommended from the two of us.

Susan Kosonocky is so amazing. She has done large and small projects in my house and the results are incredible. She has such a great eye and has such great ideas. I am always so excited to see what she envisions and how the rooms come together. I wish I had more rooms for her to decorate! As I have referred here over and over, I see that she is talented in so many styles and tastes- not just mine. I don't know how she does it- but I am so glad I have been able to work with her these last 2 years.

Susan does fabulous work! She worked to make everything fit into my budget and made everything flow together wonderfully! A few new pieces fit well with the recovered furniture and redone draperies. I am so pleased with her skills and absolutely love my living room, sitting room, and dining room now that she has put a totally new look and feel in them!

Restyle did a great job on my living room. I needed new lighting, drapes, and pillows in a transitional style, but they had to coordinate with traditional looks in the adjoining rooms. Susan found just the right fixture and fabrics to pull it all together, giving my living room the update I wanted while making the new work with the old.
