VERMONT WOODS STUDIOS

It has been a wonderful experience working with Vermont Woods Studios. The furniture is beautiful! In fact, a cabinetmaker friend who does excellent work himself admired the craftsmanship of my cherry bookshelves. I also ordered a sleigh bed and nightstands for my bedroom (all pieces were crafted by Maple Corner Woodworks). Due to space limitations I needed to special order the nightstands and bookshelves and VWS was absolutely wonderful to work with! Because I could not visit the showroom I was very careful to look at the photographs, specs, descriptions, and other customer reviews. I had many questions which were all answered clearly, promptly, and professionally. One of the bookshelves has glass doors and one door was rubbing and not quite plumb. I asked them to send me information on how to adjust the hinges to make it right and they sent me very clear instructions with photographs. The delivery company was also excellent. Their communication about finding a mutually agreeable delivery time was very good and and they were pleasant and professional once at the house.

I ordered 2 new desks for my office space. I went back and forth between wanting the files on the right side or the left side and customer service was very easy to work with while I changed my mind - twice. Delivery went very well, even with the need to take three doors off (thanks guys!). The desks look amazing in the space and many of my patients have commented on the looks and quality. Will definitely be ordering more pieces in the future!

This is an update to my review of Jan 2023. After I said I was trying to decide whether to ask for a refund or dispute the charge on my credit card, management became involved. It was as if I was dealing with a completely different company. The manager called me on the weekend and apologized that he was not in the office to respond to me on Friday. He then apologized that my order had been repeatedly overlooked and accepted responsibility for the inaction of his customer service reps. He offered to either give me a refund, or take personal responsibility for expediting my order. His professionalism convinced me that I should continue to work with VWS. He communicated with me several times over the next few days and assured me that he personally confirmed that my order was shipped promptly. It's Feb 10 and I have my table. It looks beautiful and the extension mechanism allows me to add the leaf myself. My advice if you encounter a problem that customer service does not resolve quickly is to speak with management. They provide the type of customer service that is promised on their website.

Today is Jan 7, 2023. I ordered a Copeland dining table in April 2022 with a projected delivery date 20-24 weeks. I paid in full including an additional charge for white glove delivery. When the table arrived October 2022 the top was cracked off, so much so that the deliverymen did not even finish unwrapping it. I reported the problem to VWS and they were apologetic and stated that they had called Copeland and my order would be first in line, estimated to ship in 2-6 weeks. Since then VWS has not initiated a contact with me. I have contacted them numerous times in the past 14 weeks and each time I was given a different excuse and different ship date. It has now been 14 weeks and yesterday I was told that it would take 6 more weeks before the table would be ready to ship. The customer service rep I spoke with refused to advocate with the manufacturer to expedite my order that has been promised and delayed multiple times and stated she had "nothing she would say would make me happy" as if I was being unreasonable for expecting them to live up to their promise of personal service and satisfaction guaranteed. After I threatened to dispute the charge with my credit card company they agreed that they would refund my money. I'm now left with the choice of sticking it out with them or starting over with another retailer. VWS states in writing that they are founded on respect, integrity and honesty and provide accurate lead times due to their personal relationship with the owner of Copeland. They promise complete customer satisfaction. They have not given me even a minimum level of customer service despite having been paid 9 months ago. Save yourself the time and aggravation and buy your Copeland furniture from another of the many retailers that sell it.

Our new dining table is BEAUTIFUL. Fantastic quality and craftsmanship. We've had it for a few months now and are thrilled.

The 5 foot garden bench is perfect. Very sturdy and attractive. Just as pictured. Easy to assemble with all parts included.

Purchased a pair of chandeliers from Vermont Woods Studios (or at least I thought that I did) I paid for them in full. Two weeks later, the sudios got back to me and explained that they had screwed up the prices. The items that I purchased actually cost double what they charged me and I had a choice of either forking over the difference or cancelling the order. Completely unprofessional Their word is no good

I purchased a set of bedroom furniture manufactured by Copeland through Vermont Woods Studios. Free white glove shipping was included. Crafting and shipping took 3 months, a reasonable time frame. There were numerous problems with the order as delivered. The mirror arrived with broken glass. The headboard and footboard of the bed were cracked. Several joining dowels in the bed were too long, preventing assembly. Several different pieces of incorrect hardware and parts were included for the bed. It took three separate requests (with a one-week wait each time) for Copeland to ship us the correct hardware for the bed. Copeland made a new headboard and footboard (at least the lifetime warranty has worked so far). Two months after the first delivery, we still do not have all the pieces for the bed, or the mirror. Copeland's literature talks about "the experience" that luxury furniture buyers want. Trust me, I did not get it.

No one does it better than Vermont crafters and the products Vermont Woods Studios represent are the best. We purchased the Sarah Buffet made by Copeland Furniture and it is absolutely beautiful. The cherry and craftsmanship is high quality and the piece is elegant and functional. Every aspect of dealing with Vermont Woods Studio was fantastic. They are informative, incredibly responsive and know their products and craftsmen well. If you want quality and great personal care, buy from them.

I can highly recommend Vermont Woods Studios. I found a bedroom set on their website that was just what I had in mind, but was a little reluctant to order online. I called them with questions and they were knowledgeable and happy to help. We also drove from New York State to their Vermont showroom and warehouse to see the pieces in person. The furniture was high quality and beautifully designed. We ordered 2 large dressers, a queen platform bed and 2 nightstands. The furniture arrived on schedule (actually a little early!) in perfect condition. A big shout out to Thomas, who delivered our new furniture with extreme care. We are thrilled with everything!

Stay away! The owner is snooty and condescending. We were made to feel like our business was not important just because we were price checking for our home project.

As others have said workmanship and customer service excellent! I ordered a maple Andover Modern Incline bed. It is cozy to prop up the pillows on slant headboard and read under the comforter.
