Working with Kelly was such a JOY! Her music expertise, intuition, and experience truly brought our vision to life. She took time to understand our style and created beautiful spaces in our new home…even better than I imagined. Every detail reflected her creativity and professionalism, making the entire process seamless and enjoyable. Working with Kelly really was a five-star experience from start to finish! We just love her!

I never wanted a fixer upper, but after almost a year of looking, my husband and I decided it was our best chance of getting into the neighborhood we wanted. It had everything–good schools, kids running through the streets, block parties, and walkability to the local village. We were so excited to give our two daughters an amazing childhood that we closed on the house and hired a contracting company to help us remodel. I had no idea how overwhelming or time consuming the process would be. The contracting company provided an in-house designer. At our first meeting, she asked me if I had a Pinterest board, what my style was, and how I wanted to remodel my kitchen. I didn’t know the answer to any of these questions. I’d heard great things about Kelly Churney Design Studio and knew Kelly personally, so I hired her to work alongside the remodeling team to help make the process more manageable and hone in on what we wanted. As a stay at home mom with two young kids, I didn’t have the time or desire to look through Pinterest, shop for countertops, and finetune my style. Kelly was amazing from start to finish! She created a vision board and sent me pictures of kitchens with warm tones that I loved right away. She helped me to discover that my style was transitional and whenever I had any questions, she responded right away. This was a bigger home than we’d had in the past, so we were in need of a lot of new furniture, area rugs, and decor. Kelly helped us with room layout, created a cohesive vision for each space, and took care of ordering and delivery for us. She attended all the design meetings with the contracting company, shopped for countertops, and assisted with all of our selections. All the things that the contracting company lacked (communication, timeliness, customer service skills), Kelly excelled in. Seven months later, I couldn’t love my new home and kitchen more. It’s the perfect mix of warmth and style, beauty and functionality. I never could have done it without Kelly. She saved me from months of headaches and made an overwhelming process enjoyable. She truly has an eye for design and also listens to your input to give you the home that works for you. I hope everyone has a chance to work with Kelly!

Kelly helped us create a new office, as well as update whole house paint and lighting! She truly helped me see my vision and helped it come to life. She was always responsive and professional, and went out of her way to make sure we were completely satisfied with every aspect of the project.

Kelly was so wonderful to work with! She gave us a lot of options and worked with our budget every step of the way. She followed up and responded to messages promptly and regularly. She kept appointments and meeting times as scheduled and was always there to answer any questions we had. She was very personable and I would definitely recommend her services to anyone!

Kelly was so great to work with throughout the project! I had no idea what I wanted or where to start and she was still able to put together exactly what I needed. She made updates every time I wanted to change something and sent updated vision boards. She was always very responsive with everything. She was able to work with our budget and still made everything look gorgeous. I'm definitely going to use her anytime I need an update!

Kelly did an amazing job on our basement project! She made it a low-stress (and fun!) process. She listened to our needs/priorities and created a beautiful space that is also very functional and comfortable. She was flexible, responsive, and had so many creative ideas I never would have thought of. Highly recommend!

Kelly was such a delight to work with!! My husband and I reached out to Kelly with a vision (or lack thereof, ha!) with a common area in our new gym/fitness facility - she understood our design style and typical preferences with just a few questions and was able to execute the plan in a very timely manner. Not only were the pieces stylish and high quality, but we were able to stick to budget and walk away with pieces that our clients are excited to see and use. Kelly helped us reimagine our master bedroom space to make it a sanctuary for us before we become new parents in the coming year. Prior to Kelly's help, we had mismatched, hand-me-down furniture and a very large space that wasn't being utilized well. Through discussions together and a visit to our home, Kelly mocked up a great design plan to brighten the room and better utilize the space with new furniture and the creation of a sitting area. She was so patient through several iterations of furniture research and selection as we worked together to balance cost and quality. I was especially impressed with Kelly's knowledge of other vendors to involve (carpenter, painter) to help us bring it all together. Kelly is the best!

Where can I even begin, Kelly has been the best thing that ever happened to my house! From the very first meeting Kelly has been nothing but completely thorough, detail oriented, and an absolute pleasure to work with. I consider myself pretty picky when it comes to interior design and truly thought I would give someone a run for their money in terms of feedback and changes. I was shocked when Kelly presented the first design plans, I loved every single piece of it! She totally got my style, vision, and what I was going for with each room. She has a knack for timeless, gorgeous design and I would say her specialty is making each room livable. With 2 young kids, I wanted both aesthetically pleasing and functional (hiding toys, making it still feel cozy but put together), Kelly hit it out of the park. She even has great recommendations for people to come hang, paint, etc to get things done in a timely and cost-efficient manner. I cannot say enough good things about working with Kelly. She's now done my office, our living room, dining room, kitchen, and has helped give her opinion on some other smaller projects. I'm now actively looking for more rooms to have her help with :) If you are thinking about working with her, just do it. It will be the best investment you make in your home and there is no one better for the job!! Thank you Kelly for making me love my home more than I could ever imagine I would!!

I can’t recommend Kelly enough! We re-decorated my two teenage daughters bedrooms. I am not a decorator and my daughters had a specific vision. I was very overwhelmed with where to begin. I’ve never splurged on a decorator before thinking it was only something rich people do and I couldn’t afford it. I found Kelly on social media and she was a godsend! She really took her time meeting with us and listening to my daughter’s vision/wishes. When she proposed the design, I was pleasantly surprised. It was exactly what they wanted. I was shocked at how reasonable it was from a cost stand point. I told Kelly I didn’t want to spend a ton of money and I was okay with low end goods/materials. She was very frugal in her search yet found solid, relevant items. She was easy and fun to work with! My girls loved her. And the end result..?!!… she NAILED IT!! I was blown away how she was able to listen to my daughter simply describe her wishes, personality and style and not only make it come 100% to fruition but exceed any expectations we had! I’m looking forward to having her tackle my living room next.

Kelly was so amazing to work with! From the designs to helping coordinate smaller renovations, she was there every step of the way. I loved how comfortable it felt to work with her, she literally took the ideas I had in mind and brought them to life. She has such a great eye for all things design. Kelly is professional, flexible with her schedule, timely, and took all things into consideration especially with our budget. We couldn't be happier with how everything turned out!
