Corby was recommended to us by a co-worker and performed a complete bathroom remodel. I cannot say enough good things about his business. Corby was prompt, professional and reliable. His workers performed impeccable work, they showed up on time and stayed late to get the job done. We will certainly be using him for future projects!

We hired Corby for the primary bathroom remodel. We had several estimates, but Corby was the only one that after looking at the spaces asked us what we were trying to do, gave us advice on how to do it and how the process would work through the build. He was also the only estimate we received that had an itemized list of costs, a timeline, and a projected start date. It was very professional and made me feel confident in the project getting done correctly. The team that worked at the house every did a great job of explaining processes, problems, and solutions. They kept the area as tidy as possible every day before they left. The bathroom turned out so gorgeous, and we really love the finished product. I really appreciated the ability to communicate with Corby and his team. We did have to make some major shifts in the middle of the project due to some unforeseen issues. Even with all that, we always felt informed, considered, and listened to through making those decisions on what to modify in the plan. I would use Corby again and I would recommend to anyone for any home improvement project.

When the sink faucet that was installed last summer became loose, I only took an e-mail to Corby and that same day one of his workers (BIG shout out to Josh). Fixed it AND fixed a garbage disposal connection that had come loose. We have used Corby's for several remodeling projects in our home. The quality of the work is exemplary. This is just one example of how Corby's Home Improvement stands by their work.

Absolutely love our new laundry room. Fantastic experience, from the estimate all the way through completion. Communication with Corby and his employees was outstanding from the beginning to the end. Corby's Home Improvement remodeled most of the interior of my home, including completely rebuilding one of my bathrooms, my stairs, and my kitchen. The crew also installed wood floors in one bedroom, a hall, livingroom and kitchen, plus painting walls, ceilings, and trim in almost every room in the house. In addition to new outlets, lighting, and a new mantel for my fireplace, they also installed chair rail molding in my livingroom, dining room, and downstairs foyer. If I had any concerns or issues Corby was quick to have them fixed or corrected. I recommend him highly and hope to have him do more work on my home in the future!

Corby’s Home Improvement are very professional and honest. They show up on time and work diligently, focused on quality and timeliness. Their workmanship is top tier and the staff is friendly. We had a couple of change orders and they worked them in as requested. They are not cheap but they don’t do cheap work!! We contracted with Corby to finish a 2000+ sq ft basement. The project included adding a bedroom, exercise room, theater room, wet bar, game room, and a full bathroom. We found the communication with Corby was excellent and he was extremely honest in his dealings with us. He coordinated the sub-contractors that were used for the HVAC, etc. and with the city inspectors. His direct employees were professional and great to work with. They consulted with us as construction progressed to ensure our finished product was what we expected and wanted. We were very pleased with the quality of work they did. In talking with Corby, he had no issues if we chose to purchase some items directly that were in his bid. He simply gave us credit for those items on the final invoice.

Corby and his crew did an excellent job for me! They remolded my kitchen, 2 bathrooms, and put in cabinets and a countertop downstairs. They also helped move a refrigerator downstairs and did some rewiring. All the guys were friendly and easy to get along with. They showed up on time and when they said they would. They were professional, polite, and cooperative in all phases of their work. If they couldn't be here for some reason, they would let you know and the reason why. I would recommend them to anyone if you wanted your project done professionally and correctly!

Corby and his network of men who are all highly skilled in their fields did an outstanding job on our walk-in shower. Every person who worked in our home was courteous and they all cleaned up after finishing their part of the job. We are so pleased with Corby’s Home Improvement that we have selected them to add an addition to our parking area along with adding a potting shed and improving water drainage in our back yard.

Corby was great to work with and his crew did a wonderful job building my new deck. The weather caused delays, but Corby kept me appraised of the changing work schedule. Both Corby, and his foreman Dave, were patient with my questions and design changes as the project progressed. I ended up with a large deck on the back of my house that encompasses a mature red maple tree, has mitered distal corners (didn't want something square) and is one step down to the lawn at the far end (due to the slope of the yard). I can whole heartedly recommend Corby's Home Improvement and will be contacting him for my next home improvement project.

Corby Rowenhorst is an incredibly honest and dedicated professional who managed the entire project which included updating electrical and plumbing; removing old boiler heating system and installing HVAC system; two bathroom remodels, interior painting, exterior painting, porch repair and replacement of original cedar shake siding—and much more. Corby’s team whom he brought into the project were all exceptional, pleasant and professional. Everyone took the time to work very closely with my wife and I and despite the geographical distance their communication at all stages of the project was superb. I would recommend Corby’s Home Improvement without reservation to anyone requiring this level of work on their home.

I’ve had other experiences with contractors and had been left disappointed I had one who kept pushing me back for months. When I hired Corby and his team I was very impressed. I hired him to knock down a wall and add some vents in the bathroom and kitchen. His team and him showed up on time, were very professional, and finished the project in a timely manner. I hired him again in April, to build a deck, once again I wasn’t disappointed, they showed up on time and did a great job, I will definitely have him work on future projects.

Corby's Home Improvement has done two jobs for us in the past. First was to revive our front porch which included; reinforcing the ledger board, pouring new pilings for the porch supports, replacing the porch beams, new stringers and treads. Second was fabricating twin built-ins flanking our fireplace. The doors featured antique glass. All the moldings and trim matched the fireplace surround perfectly. They are always on the job site when they say they will be there. They were right on budget. And they are a joy to be around.

Corby and his team installed a bathroom in our basement last spring. The space we had to work with was very tight but Corby was able to come up with some creative suggestions on how to make good use of the space we had. We are very pleased with the finished results!

Corby and crew built a 12' x 16' deck with a 12' x 10' metal roof to replace the aging deck on the back of our house. We are extremely pleased with the results which included attention to detail along with the professional knowledge to complete it in a timely manner. The required stairs and railing are not only safe but a very stylish addition to the deck. A ceiling fan and some additional re-wiring were done to make this added feature not only serviceable but beautiful to look at. The entire crew was top notch and worked well with each other as they endeavored to complete each daily task. Providing a written estimate and following it made this experience a pleasure. We anticipate many years of enjoying the view from our fabulous deck! Thank You Corby's Home Improvement!

Corby and Steve have completed 2 projects at our home. They replaced 2 side by side backdoors with french doors and they removed 2 spiral staircases. Both projects were completed in a timely and efficient manner. Their workmanship is outstanding and detail-oriented and they are honest and reliable people. We are not only pleased with their professional acumen but also with their delightful personalities and down to earth vibes (I nominate Corby as TN's most congenial contractor). We recommend both men highly and will not hesitate to hire them again in the future.

Corby has done a wonderful job installing hardwood floors, remodeling our kitchen, updating bathrooms and landscaping our backyard including new stairs and patio. Every thing looks wonderful and we couldn't be happier with the work and with his friendly and helpful demeanor. We have trusted him with many projects in the past and will continue to call on him in the future.

My family has used Corby's Home Improvement on several projects over the past two years, some large and some small. We've been very happy since the first day. Corby has a superb attention to detail, and you'll never see anything sloppy or second rate. He's made repairs on my old home, renovated an older home for my brother, and installed hardwood floors, built cabinets and made some upgrades on my parent's large, custom built plantation style home. Corby also renovated some commercial property that I leased, and did an amazing job with the floors, new ceiling, and new walls. That work was what led us to him for our home projects. Not only does he do excellent work, he's also knowledgeable, dependable, and honest. I know I'm getting a fair deal with Corby, and will be happy with any project that he does for us. We will definitely use him more in the future as well!

Reliable, affordable, honest. Corby keeps you informed throughout the process. He was one of the first people I met when I moved to Tn. Needing work done, I went to the phone book. Corby was the one who actually called me back. His friendly caring personality in addition to his work ethic has had me calling him back multiple times over the past four years. He lets me know what he can and cannot do and provides options with pricing from which to choose. Corby is a great person and his work is quality work. I have recommended him to others and will continue to do so.

Corby and Steve did a fantastic job on our master bathroom remodel! The project was completed on time and on budget. They are very professional and a pleasure to work with. They kept us informed on their schedule and what work was being completed each day. Corby honored his warranty when we had issues with the shower floor (due to a defective product). He worked on Saturdays until it was repaired. I will definitely use them again on our next project!
