I took Gieo’s landscape design course for terraced garden space and learned so much! This was a great introduction to the basics of landscape design with a focus on the specifics of designing for a sloped property. Although it was a steep learning curve, there was plenty of time to integrate the ideas, complete assignments and ask my questions along the way. I would highly recommend taking a course with Gieo, he is an excellent instructor!

Gieo assisted us with spring maintenance on 8 ornamental planting beds, cut back winter kill and deadheaded perennials, grasses and groundcovers, applied pre-emergent in the planting beds, cleaned out the water feature, checked pumps, filters, reset loose bricks or sunken areas on the right and left side walkways, tested night lighting systems and set control clocks, and started the irrigation system. He also provided onsite training and garden coaching for plant / weed identification, irrigation system, night lighting, and water feature controls. Gieo is very knowledgeable and helpful as we learned to navigate our new property. He is patient and skilled at his craft. He likes to teach and he is effective at it. If you are looking to hire a landscape architect and horticulturalist, I would recommend Gieo without hesitation.
