Craig Allen Designs is run by Craig Teitsma who is a third-generation carpenter/remodeler who has put down his hammer and picked up kitchen and bathroom cabinetry design and sales. After working with my father from a young age doing everything from building homes, to building cabinets, to hanging crown moulding, I decided to go to design school to follow a passion I have for designing and supplying kitchen, bath, and home cabinetry. We use premium handmade products, cabinetry and back all our services with comprehensive warranties.

We recently went through an extensive home renovation which involved taking down several walls and moving the kitchen to create a more open space. We researched and met with several kitchen designers. We left these meetings feeling frustrated with the proposed costs, lack of creativity and responsiveness. Then I called Craig Allen Designs. I knew Craig was our guy a half hour into our first meeting. From start to finish Craig was all in. Our project was difficult because we were changing the entire layout of the first floor. Unfortunately our architect checked out one month in - Craig took it upon himself to help us make the space cohesive, functional and most importantly try to achieve what we were envisioning. Craig was involved from start to finish. We LOVE our new kitchen and have Craig to thank for that. He also designed and installed a beautiful bar in our living room. We cannot say enough about Craig. On top of being excellent at what he does, he was a pleasure to work with!

From the initial design meeting to the finished product, Craig was the ultimate professional. Knowledgeable, communicative and master at his craft. He answered all our questions and was open to ideas. We now have a beautiful kitchen and den. Could not recommend him more highly.

He came back and measured several times. He is very responsive and listened to our needs and priorities and provided us with several plans from which to choose. My husband and I couldn't be happier with the way our kitchen came out. It is both beautiful and functional and came in right on budget!

When we decided to completely renovate our kitchen Craig was one of four designers we consulted. The other three designers shuffled existing elements which left us underwhelmed. Craigs vision incorporated every design element we had asked in a layout that was truly unique. Craig was directly involved with our project from start to completion. His advice and guidance on color scheme and materials throughout the project was priceless. The overall quality and craftsmanship exceeded our expectations at a price that was extremely fair! Craig was an absolute pleasure to work with, always available, and we would personally recommend him without hesitation.

A tree hit and destroyed our house. The kitchen remodel was not in our plans but Craig saw us through the massive project with patience, support and a can-do energy. He answered all our questions and imagined a kitchen that we could only dream of. Our kosher kitchen is stunning and functional. Thank you, Craig!

We are so glad we found Craig to design our kitchen! We bought a new home that was a total fixer upper and needed a new kitchen ASAP. While we had a GC for the remainder of the house, we really wanted a kitchen designer to make our dream kitchen a reality. Having visited the kitchen design stores and being sorely disappointed with the designs provided and shocked at the price tag for such uninspiring designs, we found Craig through Houzz. Craig was incredible to work with throughout the whole process. He was meticulous, very easy to communicate with, and worked within our budget to design a beautiful and super functional kitchen that we love.

Craig has been a teal pleasure to work with from the very start throughout the entire installation. He listened carefully to my requests and created a design that worked perfectly in my tiny kitchen. He offered solutions that made condo kitchen more efficient. Because I’m new to the area, I asked for product sources and he recommended great places for me to check out. His design plans really satisfied all my needs. His workmanship is outstanding. He completed everything within the 10-14 day timeline. This kitchen was the fourth I’ve renovated and it’s the best ever.

We recently bought a new home that needed a full kitchen renovation. Before closing on the house, we researched many kitchen design companies who serve northern NJ. We quickly realized that Craig, owner of Craig Allen Designs, was the right choice for us. From the first meeting, he showed immense professionalism and communication about the project, and coming up with potential designs. He provided a variety of options of all materials and cabinetry, and worked very hard to keep within our budget. His crew was fast, friendly, and had a working kitchen for us 2 weeks after demolition started. He has always been very attentive and responsive to all our questions and requests. The finished kitchen is as beautiful and functional as we had hoped it would be. We couldn't be more grateful and pleased with the finished product. Everyone who has come to our new home has loved our kitchen, which is truly the heart of the house. We would not hesitate to recommend Craig Allen Designs for any kitchen or bathroom project.
