Stephanie and Caril worked with me from start to finish on my home remodel. They provided ideas for reconfiguring floor plans and reimagining use of spaces and managed specialty subcontractors. They worked with my design tastes and functional requests (of which there were many!) to design each room to feel personalized to my family's aesthetic and function while respecting my budget constraints. They were there every step of the way, from selection to installation, ensuring no small detail was missed. I highly recommend Stephanie and her design team not only for their incredible talent, but also for their reasonable and transparent pricing.

I absolutely love what Stephanie did to take my project from 85% done to 100%. It was those final furniture pieces and decorative items that really took my project to the next level. The only mistake I made was not engaging her sooner.

I had Stephanie come and do a consultation and was impressed. It was the perfect way to start updating our new home. We hired Stephanie to help us with a complete remodel of our newly purchased 1960s house in Prairie Village. Here's what we were looking for and how Stephanie helped: 1. Someone who could work with our style. Stephanie is excellent at this. Helped my wife and I pick the right things, make compromises where needed, gave us confidence in the selections, etc. So many choices...it's well worth the money to have someone who can see the big picture and make sure we are on track. That's a huge part of her value = gives us confidence that we are tying everything together to get the look we are going for. An expert eye. 2. Understood our budget and helped us stay on it. This was big. We went back to the drawing board a number of times in tile, countertop and floor selections. She was patient with us and we never felt rushed. She was spot on in helping us think through less expensive ways to get the same results as the more expensive options. She even found me a $60 modern front door on Facebook that saved me $1,000 with that one find. 3. Was flexible in working with our busy schedules. Stephanie is great at answering texts, meeting when needed, etc. She even had one store open for us on Saturday as that was the only day we could meet. 4. Helped us stick to an aggressive timeline while coordinating with our general contractor. She understands how everything should be sequenced and helped us work through it. She is proactive in sending emails, texts, etc. to make sure we hit our timeline. 5. Thinks outside the box. Like any major construction you will run into problems. Stephanie worked with everyone to think of various solutions and brought us ideas that not one of us were thinking about. Stephanie has brought us FAR MORE VALUE in design style and project savings than we have paid her for her work. We are so glad she has walked with us through this big project. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

We hired Stephanie for a color consult and she was EXCELLENT! My wife and I were having a difficult time finding the right color for the interior of our home and Stephanie guided us in picking a beautiful color that brings our house together and allows us to decorate with ease. We cannot wait to work with her on our next home improvement project.

It is now two months since our remodeling project was completed. Every day, either my husband, or I, walks into our remodeled spaces and says, " I LOVE it!" Stephanie Zollars Stroud helped us choose the best materials, fixtures, and appliances. She utilized every inch of our 102 year old space and we can't believe how beautiful and functional it is. She guided us to look beyond the obvious and we are so happy with the outcome.

Stephanie was very professional, friendly and very helpful in bringing my parents' nearly 100 year old home remodeling project together into an absolutely gorgeous kitchen and bathroom. The kitchen went from a crowded, low ceilinged, dark, mishmash done by a previous owner to a stunning, bright, larger space with ten foot ceilings. A gorgeous space in which to entertain. Additionally, the small downstairs full bath was reworked to make it a true full bathroom with full-size sink and more space in which to maneuver. While there were some delays in schedule (due to decision making, cabinets, material orders and shipping) and a couple of items missed in the flurry of communication, all was taken care of to full satisfaction, and it was nothing unusual for a remodel. Stephanie, is the utmost professional designer. She has been working with us for over nine months, during our remodel of a one hundred year old house, in Kansas City, MO. She listened to us long distance and chose the perfect paint colors, fixtures, furniture. She had a vision and was committed to seeing the long project through.
