We had a great experience with Vic & the team from Modern Renovations for our garage rebuild project (tearing down existing 1 car garage and building an oversized 2 car). From the first conversations/estimates to completion of the project, we appreciated the attention to detail and transparency. Quality of work is top notch and we had great experiences will all of the subcontractors as well. Vic is a true professional and we will definitely have him back for future home projects.

We hired Modern Renovations to renovate our kitchen, bathroom and mudroom. We had plans drawn for the project, but ended up making a number of changes during the course of construction. Victor and his team were very patient and accommodating in talking us through all of our proposed changes. Our project came out exactly as we had hoped and it has fundamentally changed the way we use and live in our home. We could not be happier.

We asked Victor from Modern Renovations to quote the demolition of an old sunroom, and the construction of a pergola on our back deck. Of the 5 different quotes we got for the project, Modern Renovations was by far the most attentive to detail and thorough; providing cad drawings and precise plans. We were very impressed. When we changed our minds about the pergola, and decided to add a staircase off of our deck instead, Victor was very accommodating and provided the same attention to detail with the new plan. The end product was beautiful, and exactly what we were hoping for. While they were here, we also had Victor and his team repair some siding on other parts of our house. In the process, we found an ant infestation. They completely repaired the damage and recommended an exterminator for the ants. I would highly recommend Modern Renovations. They are professional, clean, meticulous and easy to work with.

Victor was great to work with. Good attention to detail and made the overall experience easy and pain free. We will definitely have him back for another project.

We cannot begin to thank Modern Renovations enough for the work that they did on our renovation. We have owned our house for 13 years and began to outgrow it as our children became older. With a 9yr old boy and a 6yr old girl, it was time that they needed their own spaces so we decided to make that change. We interviewed many contractors and Victor and Modern Renovations stood out from the start of our very first meeting together. As we walked through our house the first time going over our wish list, Victor offered additional ideas that hadn’t crossed our minds. “What do you think about opening this wall,” as he tapped on a wall next to a staircase. “I know it isn’t in your preliminary drawings, but it would really pull these rooms together”. From there on, his mindset was always on us, and not trying to secure a job. His mindset was clear, he wanted to see good work and give us the options to achieve our dream. We knew that our project was a big project, going from a cape to more of a colonial, and that our deadline was tight, being back by Christmas for our young children. Victor made no promises but assured us that he would do everything to try and meet that deadline. At the end of June 2019, we moved out of our house and work began. Everyone has heard horror stories about contractors disappearing or being unresponsive, we saw this happen to neighbors during our renovation, but we never had any worries that work was not taking place. Modern Renovations was there EVERY DAY bright and early and stayed well into the evening on most occasions. Through all the up & downs of the process, Victor and his crews were there every step of the way providing insight into why something on the plan had to change and looking for ways to accomplish our dreams without destroying our budget. With weekly meetings to walk through work that was completed, as well as what was next, we always knew where we stood with the project and where we were. If we lost a day due to weather, the crew was at our house on many a Saturday busting their butts. Throughout our project, the professionalism and cleanliness of the crew was top notch. Everyone on his crew always made my family feel welcome on the job site, and was happy to answer any questions that we had. Even when we came down to the wire, with outside forces against us whether it was mother nature or the electric company screwing up a work order to put electric back on the house, Modern Renovations delivered everything and more. My family moved into our dream home on December 21st and shared our first Christmas together in our new house. Going into our process, all you hear about is horror stories. Modern Renovations weathered every challenge that was thrown at them and went out of their way for us every step of the way. Early mornings, late nights, weekends, whatever it took to deliver an amazing experience. Words cannot begin to thank Victor and Modern Renovations enough for making our dreams come true.

Modern Renovations did the renovation of our dreams! We came to Victor with our ideas and plans and he turned them into a reality. Victor is, among other things: -Punctual, -Always available -Considerate -And VERY detail oriented. There were some things that our architect didn't consider that would have slightly affected the design of our project. We would have let those things slide, but Victor did everything in his power to adjust to make everything perfect! Our project was done in a timely manner, and within the scope of our budget. With any addition to an old house, there are always surprises. Victor is the guy you want on your side when those things come up. Highly Recommended!!!

Victor was very easy to work with. He listened to what we wanted and guided us to have the best possible outcome for our complete kitchen and bath renovation. Victor has high standards for himself and subcontractors. He is detailed oriented, efficient at keeping the project running on time and sees it through to completion. He keeper is informed every step of the way. Victor is a hard worker who wants the best for his clients, no matter the size of the job. My husband and I are very satisfied with the outcome and know that we have quality construction that will last for years to come.

Victor and his crew were awesome! They were honest and thorough when installing our roof. Victor is extremely knowledgeable and did a tremendous job explaining the materials and scope of work being done. He handled all the hiccups along the way and was up front about everything. We were very pleased with extra care taken to ensure a clean yard when the job was complete!
