Elevated Home Remodel

After more than a year of struggling to design and coordinate our kitchen and family room updates with independent subcontractors, my husband and I decided to revisit hiring a full-service remodeling company. We had previously explored this route but had less-than-positive experiences. This time, after extensive research, I selected three companies for bids, prioritizing not just cost but trust and a team that understood our vision—even when it wasn’t fully formed. One of those companies was Elevated Home Remodel, owned by Miki and Julie Ben David, a husband-and-wife team based in Kirkland. From our first consultation, we knew we had found something special. Miki, their project manager, spent nearly two hours with us, not just assessing our space but getting to know our family and how we live. His thoughtful questions and passion for creating functional, beautiful spaces immediately set them apart. Rather than a vague estimate, they provided a fully itemized quote, breaking down each component of the project. This transparency allowed us to make informed decisions and adjust elements without exceeding our budget. We also appreciated Miki’s realistic scheduling—he was upfront about timelines, ensuring they didn’t overpromise. When we met with Julie, their lead designer, I was amazed at how effortlessly she translated my scattered thoughts into stunning 3D renderings. Not only did they present a plan based on our initial discussions, but they also surprised us with an alternative concept that transformed our underutilized sunroom into a fully functional living space. The added cost was clearly outlined, and they worked with us to adjust other areas to stay within budget. Once under contract, their commitment to a smooth, stress-free process was clear. They helped us set up a temporary kitchen, carefully tarped off work areas, and minimized dust and disruption—no small feat while living through a remodel. Their craftsmanship was exceptional. Polo, Juan, and Armondo weren’t just highly skilled but also some of the kindest, most respectful professionals we’ve ever worked with. Even our neighbors praised how considerate the team was, from parking etiquette to daily cleanup. Beyond their in-house team, every subcontractor was equally professional and responsive. Miki’s project management and Julie’s design expertise made them an unbeatable team. Even when unexpected issues arose, like a leaky roof, Miki guided us through our options, ensuring we stayed on budget and schedule. True to their word, we were able to host our Christmas Eve open house and Christmas dinner in our newly remodeled space. This project wasn’t just about upgrading our home—it was about working with honest, talented people who cared about our family and made the experience enjoyable. After vetting several companies over a period of almost two months, we decided to go with Elevated Home Remodeling. We chose them because of these reasons. 1. Owners Miki and Julie are very friendly, and we had good vibes with them. 2. They listened to our needs and wants. 3. They had a good plan for installing an overhead exhaust vent, the most challenging issue. Our remodel involved a completely new island with new stove, overhead exhaust vent and make-up air system, and a relocated second sink. Older tile countertops and backsplash were to be replaced with quartz countertops and tile backsplash. A plan for the new island was done with a lot of cooperation to make sure my “wish list” was fulfilled. Miki oversaw our project, keeping us informed about schedules and plans. Miki’s crew and subcontractors were great. They were friendly and great to work with. We are very happy with the result and look forward to employing them again for our future remodels. I am thrilled to use my kitchen daily. It is functional, aesthetically pleasing, and easy to clean. This is my dream kitchen

I spent 3 months looking for an honest and capable contractor. I found the perfect ones in Miki and Julie! The work on my kitchen remodel was done on time, workmanship excellent (thank you Polo and Juan Carlos). Julie and Miki were friendly, easy to work with and very open to new ideas during the remodeling process. It was not a stressful time at all! If things did come up, Miki was quick to resolve the issue. This was a wonderful dream remodeling experience. We will definitely use Elevated Home Remodel again. Elevated home remodel renovated our newly purchased house, and we absolutely love it! Aside from the fantastic hands-on job, the whole process and experience were great. Miki was in touch with us throughout the process. He always made sure to keep us updated and involved in every step of the way. Our timeline was very challenging and the project itself ended up also bringing some unexpected challenges. Nonetheless, Miki and the crew stayed on top of it and were able to do a great job on time. Our living room got a complete makeover - They removed and changed walls to open up the space. The new hardwood floors and fresh paint to the drywall and brick wall gave the space an updated look and fresh feeling. We absolutely love it! They also did our entire interior paint, removed walls, sanded hardwood floors, installed light fixtures, and other improvements around the house. Miki made sure all of our concerns were taken care of. Everything ended up looking amazing. Thank you for helping us remodel our new home.

Our bathroom had a water leak and we needed flooring and plumbing redone and a complete remodel. Elevated Home Remodel did a great job asking good questions and making recommendations. We received a quote and a timeline and everything was done as expected. Friends and family didn't believe we'd have it done in the timeline provided, but Elevated knows their crew and delivered as quoted! We look forward to working with them again on future projects.

We had two bathrooms remodeled (a family bathroom and a master bath) with Elevated Home and couldn't be happier with the result. Our bathrooms are beautiful and match the vision of what we hoped the outcome would be. Miki and Julie communicated well throughout the process. We appreciated the design guidance and the ability to buy some materials on our own in partnership with Elevated Home. There were no surprises, this included the cost, as the project cost came in right in line with our quotes, adjusted only for items we agreed to ahead of time. I used Elevated Home Remodel to upgrade my master bathroom. They responded quickly to my call and provided an excellent service. Julie and Miki were there to answer any question I had and the team did a wonderful job! Needless to say this is now my favorite room in the house.

I recently bought a Condo that needed a lot of renovation , I hired Elevated Home remodel to rehab of the kitchen as well as 2 bathrooms . I had a very positive experience! Elevated was accurate on the budget and timeline for the renovation . They were clear communicators and very responsive. Miki would reply to messages within the hour if I had any questions. If Miki said workers were arriving at 9 am, that's when they arrived. And the kitchen looks beautiful, very quality work. All in all, very happy and have already started recommending Elevated to others who are looking for a contractor!

It was delightful to work with Elevated Homes they were honest and easy to work with they had good suggestions and I knew they want the best for my project. I did my master bathroom and kitchen with them and some other little projects. It doesn't matter what size of project they always communicate well, try to save me money and deliver on time. They suggested few options for my kitchen, they could show the options in 3D with helped me to see how my kitchen will look like. I would definitely use them again!

Elevated Home Remodel did a great job! I just finished my kitchen renovation with them and it turned out great! I highly recommend them. I have a few bathroom renovations that need to be done and I will definitely be using their services to get started on that. Julie, Miki and their team were very pleasant and eased any worries I had. Our experience with Elevated was excellent. The project was nearly a full remodel including a beautiful and bright open concept kitchen, completely moving our laundry room, giving us a spacious ensuite plus walk-in closet, upgrading all of the bedrooms and of course laying new flooring throughout. We're delighted with the results. Julie has a great eye for design and Miki drove the projects with skill. Any issue that arose was handled promptly and with care. They really listened to our needs and partnered with us all throughout the project. They're very professional but more importantly, they're wonderful people.
