My husband and I began the remodel of our home in Orinda in 2016. We interviewed five builders and decided to work with Keith and Jeff Stone and their team at Diamond Construction. It was one of the best decisions we have ever made. The work performed on the house was of the highest quality, and the workers were all professional and meticulous. The head forman, Jim was on the site continuously working along side the team demanding the best. Additionally, he diplomatically managed neighbors and traffic issues with the construction trucks. Keith was transparent and efficient with the billing. All invoices were prepared and presented to us with clear tracking of expenses and budget including all supporting documentation. Yes, there were some glitches; the first year had a record rainfall season and some materials were delayed. These and other problems were managed and time adjustments made. The result of our extensive remodel exceeded our expectations. The house is not only solidly built but the workmanship is exquisite. Needless to say, we give our highest recommendation to this experienced and excellent company. It truly was a pleasure to work with Keith and Jeff Stone and the Diamond Construction family.

Diamond performed a major remodel of our Lafayette home: complete kitchen and dining room; double garage, including new slab; doors and hardware throughout; and lots of incidentals. Working with Diamond was a dream! Their work flow and cost estimates were clear and concise, and spot on. The schedule was extended only a bit by our change orders, and the final invoice was within 1%. Jeff and Keith met with us nearly every day, and involved us in every step. The subs were timely, reliable, personable, professional, and routinely performed excellent work. Keith and Jeff Stone, owners, held our hands throughout every step of the remodel process and still continue to check in and fix the most minor issues a year after our beautiful home is complete. Keith sat with us through meetings with the architect and as he has a great eye, corrected the architect when necessary, met me when shopping for moldings, windows, doors, fixtures, cabinets, floors, etc - you get the point. As both Keith and Jeff have a great eye for design, they gently and diplomatically led me toward better choices when mine were not quite right - very important when you are making choices for a nearly 7,000 square foot house! One of the most impressive points about Diamond is the fact that they take responsibility for all of their work and for their subs - if something is not correct, they fix it and make it right. Our foreman, Oscar, was exceptional as were all of the men working on our house. Prior to this project we had done many small remodeling projects which almost always left us feeling unsatisfied and upset with the contractors. We will never use another contractor again, Diamond has gone beyond our expectations and they are exceptional.

The Diamond Construction team did a large outdoor living / remodel for us. They have the professionalism of a Fortune 500 business with care and high touch of your favorite high-end shopping destination. They are true to their word and take great care in getting it right, they way you want it, each time. We liked them so much that we started to call them family.

Diamond Construction did an excellent job on our residence. Our site was steeply sloped with several protected trees and the house included many exacting architectural features.
