I worked with Katie throughout 2014 and into 2015. We started with small projects (kitchen nook build-out and bathroom mirrors and lighting update), then she helped us stage our home for sale (it sold in 6 days!) and most recently she helped us decorate our new home in northeast Denver. She even consulted for lighting placement with the builder. Her experience with the building process was extremely helpful. We are so happy with the results. I really like Katie's sense of design and her ability to incorporate our style and budget needs. We started with the main living space, connecting the living room, kitchen, dinning space and office. Then we moved on to my three kids' rooms. Katie selected furniture, paint, decor, rugs, pillows, art, fabric, light fixtures, window treatments, etc. I feel confident that Katie can handle any size project! Katie is a pleasure to work with. I like that she provides several options to start with and then we work to narrow them down to final selections. Katie is also very responsive and easy to reach.

I have hired Katie for several projects in my home. She helped with all decisions in fully renovating four bathrooms, a bar, and kitchen over the last several years. I thought the four bathrooms would be easy as I would just choose a product and multiply by four. Katie encouraged me to make each space unique including sinks. The results were fabulous and I love going into my different bathrooms and having a different experience. The variety of products that she introduced me to was eye opening. She very quickly was able to understand the style I liked and showed me various ideas which were good choices. After the bathroom and bar renovations, I had no hesitancy about using Katie again for the total gutting and renovation of my kitchen. Her sense of color is remarkable. She can see the appropriate hue that fits perfectly into the lighting of the room. Some people are hesitant to use a decorator for their job because of the cost, but I find Katie is able to find me discounts, larger selection, and perfect blending of materials that I would not be able to do on my own. I have walked into kitchens of other people and each item (pulls, countertop, cabinets) is nice, but the blending of these items together is not pleasing. Everyone who has seem my new kitchen marvels at how well it all goes together thanks to Katie.

Katie Schaefer, of Latitude 39 Designs, was instrumental in transforming our 19 year old house into a refreshing, energizing, updated home! Katie was our partner in the daunting task of remodeling all the living spaces in the house - kitchen, dining and living rooms, laundry room, three and one-half bathrooms, and four bedrooms! Katie integrated her professional experience and knowledge with the needs and demands of our family. She provided insightful and creative input during a lengthy selection process which resulted in a fresh and contemporary appearance of all fixtures, wood trim, shutters, and lighting. She effectively coordinated the order process with the contractor allowing for completion of this large undertaking. She successfully addressed the challenge of selecting a variety of paint colors that grace our walls in an open, expansive area and blended them flawlessly. She worked cooperatively with all the subcontractors and was essential in coordinating their scheduled completion. It was a pleasure to work with Katie. She definitely listened to our wants and needs and took the time to get to know us. Our home reflects a wonderful combination of our passions and tastes along with Katie's creativity and contemporary flair!

Katie stepped into my Mid Mod Kitchen remodel just in time! I had some design questions and didn't trust my instincts. Katie did not take over, but rather took the time to listen to what I wanted and to talk with me about the architecture and feel of the rest of the house. She helped my ideas come to fruition in a beautiful and functional kitchen. The highlight is an incredible tile wall that Katie designed piece by piece. She also helped with the details I had overlooked--lighting, hardware, and accessories--and made sure that everything was coherent but not boring. Katie was empathetic when construction went awry and helped me stay focused on the light at the end of the tunnel. I have already asked Katie to help me with other projects throughout the house. I am confident that her eye for design, respect for my budget and flexible working style will ensure that our house becomes our beautiful forever home. I would recommend her unconditionally!!

My contractor referred me to Katie at Latitude 39 Designs to help me with the myriad of decisions that I needed to make for my kitchen renovation. Katie is wonderful to work with and very constructive in her suggestions. In lieu of a "cut and paste" of someone else's project, Katie works with you to ensure that your style comes through. Katie is very punctual, professional and a pleasure to work with. She was a tremendous help to me in selecting the granite, backsplash, and paint for my project. She understood and met our schedule for selections and worked well with the contractor, fabricator and painter. Katie also served as a sounding board for other choices on knobs/pulls, lighting, furniture and window coverings and identified many possible resources.

We hired Latitude 39 to help with the remodeling of our guest bathroom. We wanted a modern vintage look that included removing the tub and incorporating a walk in shower. Katie of Latitude 39 helped with the selection of the subway and accent tile, design, colors and layout. We couldn't be more thrilled with the way it turned out, everyone that sees the bath has positive comments. Katie's great design ideas and eye for detail and color made a real impact on our project.

I hired Latitude 39 Designs to help to streamline what was feeling like an overwhelming project. Katie jumped right in and met with us, got a feel for our style and then came back and presented different options until we got exactly what we were looking for (but didn't have time to search out ourselves).
