LeMaster architects were helpful in our house renovation projects. I liked that they were upfront with prices and stuck with the estimated timeline for designs and revisions.

Erin LeMaster was so patient with us as we asked her to make many changes to the drawings for our addition to our house and a renovation of our kitchen. She tweaked it several times to match our vision (which wasn't always very clearly explained to her since we had no clue about the whole process!). The design we ended up with we were all excited about as it matched both what we could afford to spend and our desire for a new kitchen and master suite. We definitely recommend LeMaster Architects.

My wife and I worked with Erin and Braden for 2 years to develop and construct a significant addition to our home. They proved to be very thoughtful and patient as we vetted numerous ideas. They were extremely helpful in brainstorming and developing alternate layouts. Our local governing plan check department was an absolute mess, having just turned on their new digital submittal process. Left to my own device, we would still be trying to get permits! Braden pushed the plans through, to his credit with amazing tolerance for government ineptitude. Issues during construction were addressed quickly and thoroughly. Did not slow us down at all. We both feel that the end product is fantastic. I would highly recommend LeMaster Architects to anyone, without reservation.

We had a great experience with Erin! She was proactive, full of ideas and knowledge, and very comfortable dealing with county. The contractor she recommended was incredible, and we feel so grateful that they worked so well, as a team, too. As always, there are obstacles when renovating, but getting through them was calm and professional. I’d highly recommend LeMaster Architects; especially for the ease and enjoyment of the design experience, as well as excellent communication and organization.

I couldn't be happier with LeMaster Architects. I dealt with Erin directly and from start to finish she was kind, courteous and professional. She didn't push her ideas or desires on us but wasn't afraid to share her opinions about things. I really felt that her goal was to provide us with what WE wanted and not something she wanted. We hired LeMaster Architects to design a complete remodel of a 1900 sq. ft. home. They had innovative ideas to open up the interior space and maximize storage area. Their attention to detail brought character to the house. Erin and Braden were very easy to work with and dealt with our contractor to keep our vision. We would highly recommend their services.

We're just wrapping up our whole house remodel and it has been a pleasure working with LeMaster Architects! We found this firm to be knowledgeable, professional, incredibly responsive, and very creative. They were so helpful in every aspect of the project -- from the beginning schematic/design phase to helping to select the final finishes they provided support, feedback and any kind of advice we asked of them. When we decided to begin the extensive remodeling of our home, we did not realize that we would have to contact more than ten architects before finally finding one who was compatible to our goals and also affordable and available. We had an immediate connection with Erin LeMaster and she became our architect and guiding light. Basically, we were asking her to turn a 1970s house into an up-to-date “Dream House”. We believe our remodel was so successful due to Erin’s many excellent qualities, beginning with her Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Southern California, AIA, LEED accreditation and many years of experience. She listened to our long “wish list” of ideas and quickly understood what we wanted and began educating and guiding us toward a home that really fits us and our needs. We admired how well she worked with us – an active couple in our late 70s with a conservative Midwestern background. She was also very patient with us as we became acquainted with new materials and with current ways of construction. We appreciated her sensitivity to our budget limitations and were amazed at her ability to find and select lovely items of good quality that appealed to our “champagne tastes” but didn’t cost an arm and a leg. Erin is professional but at the same time, easy to talk to and willing to explain concepts – frequently making quick sketches. She was generous with her time, often meeting us at businesses to educate and aid us in our selection process. She was always on time and did a good job of juggling her career, marriage, family life and being a parent. We witnessed Erin’s leadership abilities when she negotiated several code issues with City Hall and stood up to the Structural Engineering firm when they made a mistake. She worked hard for us and spent extra time making everything happen, but her upfront, original project fee never changed. Reviewing our original “wish list”, we are ecstatic at how many items are now in our home. Our house is beautiful and uniquely ours but still blends in with the neighborhood. We would hire her all over again with no hesitation.

When we decided to take on our home remodel we looked to hire an architect first. We wanted someone to help us design our home, help us find a contractor and providing checks and balances for all the work being done. After interviewing a few architects we choose the LeMasters based on their professionalism, prompt response to all our questions and thorough break down of the cost of their services. We had a good idea of what we wanted done for our home and the LeMasters helped bring our vision to reality. We choose to pay extra and have them help us find products for our home. They helped us with everything from choosing our fixtures, to giving us guidelines for appropriate sizing for our chandeliers to recommending someone for our custom blinds and curtains. We have now done 2 of 3 phases of our home with them and are very pleased with their services. We will definitely be using them for the 3rd and final phase of our house. We strongly recommend the LeMaster Architects.

LeMaster Architects coordinated our entire exterior remodel with professionalism. They had great design ideas and ways to make the project more cost-effective and yet still maintain the aesthetic that we wanted. We would highly recommend them.

Great beginning plan for a great job. The design advise for our older building was especially valuable. We are remodeling a rental apartment kitchen in a l927 Monterey Spanish building which had been previously remodeled in the l980s with poor results. We are restoring the building and trying to use materials and designs that will undo portions of the building that were poorly remodeled in the l980s. Lowered ceilings, over-sized windows, cheap cabinets, all are being removed and re -imagined. This kitchen was literally falling off the walls and had about 17" of counter space. Our new design will re-open the kitchen to the living room, restore an ocean view from the kitchen, and eliminate the separate breakfast nook to give more space for a better kitchen. We are also down-sizing the windows to allow for more upper cabinets. The architects gave us numerous options for the arrangement of cabinets and appliances and helped us to start the project with an approved plan and a list of materials. We especially need them as the building codes have changed since 1927 and opening a bearing wall and shoring up an old building is not a simple task.
