We finally have my Dream Kitchen and we are loving it!! Our First Floor Remodel (full gut and rebuild) - included knocking out a wall to expand our Kitchen into what was the Dining room. I designed the Kitchen myself and had many drawings of the entire project. BLContracting did a great job! They worked hard to meet my Design criteria and requirements for quality of workmanship...as well as my budget.

We had a major remodel of Kitchen and wet bar. We found Bob through the Houzz website. Bob is a very honest and reliable contractor, two traits we rated high in our search. In addition he proposed several modifications that we had not considered which turned out very nice. As with any large projects there were some unexpected changes. He handled them well and again very fair with regard to costs. He takes a lot of pride in his work and has a great sense of humor. His subcontractors were excellent, and we enjoyed working with all of them. . Very professional job.

I write this letter in recommendation Robert Lloyd as a general contractor to perform renovations at your home. I had the pleasure of working with Mr. Lloyd on the renovation of our complete downstairs from kitchen, living room, family room, bathroom and hallway. In June of 2016. I can recommend him highly and without reservation. Throughout the course of the renovation, Mr. Lloyd was a consummate professional as well as his subcontractors, Jessie, Gabriel and Rueben. He was accurate in his initial assessment of the scale and cost of our project and assisted to our additional costs to give us good advice He was absolutely clear in his record keeping and time log. He chose and managed the sub-contractors well. Our job was done with care and precision. He is a gifted woodcrafter and the custom cabinetry he designed and executed are lovely. In addition, his crew was clean and tidy in the workplace. He and his assistant never left the worksite in disarray. They vacuumed all drywall dust daily. Mr. Lloyd took special care to prevent any of the job dust from trailing throughout the house. The only complexity in working with Mr. Lloyd is that, as he himself will tell you, good work takes time to complete. Patience is required when you work with a perfectionist. Although our project took much more time than expected to complete, I think we have a wonderful outcome and a work of art.

Bob remodeled two bathrooms and the utility room in my house. This included new cabinets, tile, and a new shower and tub in the master bathroom. The work was completed on schedule and looks very good. There were a few issues with the workmanship, but Bob corrected those quickly when I notified him about them. Everything looks really good now and I'm happy I hired him to complete the work.

Bob is experienced and responsive. His team is nice and detailed. In this project we upgraded two bathrooms: floor, shower room, cabinet, mirrors, etc. Bob helped to design the project while giving us enough flexibility room to decide the material and color. Originally the small bathroom looked crowd and now it looks spacious with his good sense of design. Before putting on the new titles, they enforced the wall structure and made everything looks solid. They did a detailed job in constructing the floor of showroom. With their effort, the water will run away and dry quickly after you running some water into it. There are several minor issues during and after the project and Bob responded promptly and fixed them. If really I have to mention some negative side of Bob/team, I would say the project lasted longer than my original expectation. It is ok for us since we are not waiting on this project for something else like selling house. Also they can come in and work even we are not in home without any worry. This is what I benefit from internet review comments by others. Hope my comments can help others to make decisions when selecting a contractor for home improvement. Thank you, ---- Dennis Tang

Bob and his crew were able to solve a complicated problem with an upstairs deck leak. The deck was replaced, the dry wall replaced, textured and painted. He was persistent in resolving the issue ( as others had not been). Arrived on time, respected my home and did the work promised for a very reasonable price. What more can you ask for?

Polite, trust worthy staff, helpful and responsive. Had our complete kitchen remodeled - along with painting complete inside. Kitchen remodel we are happy about, did require us continually keeping eyes on details as items were finished. His staff (2 -3 members) does everything from cabinets, floors, painting, final touch-ups, etc - they are handy but not experts in every area.

Bob was easy to work with and helped me come up with the best plan for both my office and closet. Reasonably priced and did a great job. Definitely plan to use him again.

Bob did a great job with our built in shelves. He took our idea and turned it into reality. His team clean, respectful and the project was completed exactly as expected. I would not hesitate to recommend BL contracting for any home renovation project.

I would highly recommend using Bob for any home remodel work. He is very professional, responsive, and easy to work with. We made several changes in the layout of our kitchen during the project and he was good a accommodating our requests. Overall, a very good experience working with him and would use him again in the future.

Bob built out a complicated home media room complete with CD, DVD storage cupboards and drawers. The complexity in the construction was fitting the wood around the large screen and to have it look good against a dormer ceiling which wasn't symmetrical. Also to have an area to house AV components and the center and subwoofer speakers using acoustic grilling and a glass door. We traded designs and over time ended up with a practical and effective solution. Once the design was clear (which took us some time due to the complexity), the actual project was executed well and in timely fashion. Bob took the time to visit the house (and with me) repeatedly to ensure that the design would work before commencing. We also made some minor changes in design as the work was about to start which he was happy to do. Bob was the fourth contractor I had approached to undertake this project. The others were either unwilling or unable to take on the project due to the complex design requirements. Bob's quote for the project was also reasonable and accurate. BL Contracting did a fantastic job building an entertainment center for my new house. They were helpful and offered suggestions and made sure I was happy with the final product. I got a drawing to show to the design before we moved forward. Everything was installed and they cleaned everything up. I would definitely hire again for another project or recommend to anyone.
