Have worked with 4 Elements for about 10 years. They do great work. Have done big and small projects for us. Friendly, fast & hard working group of people.

We have been working with John for three years plus. He always completes the work very promptly, and the results are always excellent.

Four Elements is a wonderful company. I had concrete work and landscaping done last year (2023) and the results are even better than I had imagined. Jon was easy to work with, had great ideas, and he has super people working for him. Jon was always available if there were questions or changes. His crews were professional, they worked as quickly as the job would allow and the work area was always cleaned up at the end of the work day. Love the results!

Four Elements has been a fantastic partner for our landscaping needs. We first engaged John and his company in 2019 for a full blown job for a newly constructed home. We had a list of Landscapers to visit with and John was second on our list. Needless to say we hired John quickly, didn't have to continue interviews and have never regretted our decision. Four Elements has turned our yard into an oasis of outdoor living. We have gone on to use Four Elements for 3 significant projects with the most recent project completed in mid-2023. Much of the work has been hardscaping and the quality is terrific, but more importantly, the Four Elements Team ensures that the quality is top notch. Some of the projects included a outdoor kitchen, large rock fireplace, spacious add on paver patio and separate hot tub pad, a gorgeous rock walled in front patio with paver floor enhancing our curb appeal by leaps and bounds! We have also gone on to finish concrete pathways and covered patios installed by builder with pavers and again the finished product is amazing. We can't say enough about the Team, those that are executing the projects. Very professional, authentically friendly and always available for comments dropping what they are doing to listen carefully to the homeowner. Truly amazing bunch of folks. We have recommended Four Elements to many folks and will continue to do so as those that have used them relay how pleased they are with the final product.

John has done several jobs for us over the years. Most recently was landscaping with new evergreen trees, two concrete patios w/bench seating, two outside fireplaces (one gas, one wood), and a large cedar pergola cover over part of the patio nearest the house. John arranged all the work with his crews and whatever subs that were needed (electrical, plumbing, pergola design and construction). He also made sure all the permits that were needed were submitted to the county for approval with inspections. An all-around complete job from start to finish with excellent workmanship on all the parts of the projects.

If you want the best landscaper Four Elements is your landscaper. This is the second landscaping project that John, the owner of Four Elements ,and his crew have done for us. Four Elements redid a patio that another landscaper had done incorrectly. They had to wheelbarrow all the materials from the old patio uphill, we had a walk out basement, and then bring all the correct materials back down the same way. Very labor intense! John always drops by to check on his projects daily to make sure things are going right. When you hire Four Elements you can rest assured your project will be done correctly and by the book!

Four Elements and John Van remodeled/redesigned our back yard in the Spring. John focuses on customer service and pleasing his customers. We found our fireplace design on Houzz and John made it work in our space. His crews were always punctual and kept on their task when they were here. The only major issue we had was with the synthetic turf. Please be aware...if you install synthetic turf in a west facing location that gets hot during the day, a window's reflection will cause melting in spots. This was not disclosed on the manufacturer's website. Not that it happens in all applications, but it did with ours. We will work with John and the manufacturer to have the turf replaced in the Spring. Any other issues, John took care of without question. We obtained 3 bids for our project. John's was the most fair and comprehensive. We enjoyed working with him. He checked the progress on the project often and tried to stay on schedule. Bottom line, we were very impressed with Four Elements. They did a stellar job and we couldn't be happier with our outdoor living space.

John and his team from four elements landscaping are professional, communicate well and do fantastic work! We had a horribly overgrown desert landscape backyard that we didn’t even want to go in. In just 6 days they completely transformed backyard into a peaceful space we can’t wait to spend time in! The patio they created for us looks amazing and their attention to detail is reflected in their work. They showed up promptly every day at 8am and worked hard until our project was complete! Cannot say enough nice things about their work and professionalism! We will definitely be calling them again when we’re ready to do our front yard! We just completed a landscaping project with John at Four Elements and we are very pleased with the finished product. Our project included a new stamped concrete patio and walkway, lawn grading, sod installation, irrigation, and flowers/bushes planted. Everything looks great, was completed in a timely manner, and John made sure to stick to our agreed budget. I would highly recommend Four Elements and wouldn't hesitate to use them again for any future landscaping.

We had a retaining wall replaced as well as a new sprinkler system installed in the lawn. The old wall was made of railroad ties that were starting to fall over and were rotting. Four Elements removed the old wall and built a new one with keystone blocks. The new wall looks beautiful and is well constructed. The crew kept the existing gardens protected and the impact was minimal. (I thought it was going to be a nightmare pulling out the old wall, moving dirt, and backfilling the new wall.) The crew cleaned up the debris daily, did a thorough final clean-up and after a few weeks things look pretty much back to normal - but with a proper retaining wall. John is friendly, professional, and great to work with. The job was done quickly, in spite of three afternoons with thundersnows! Very high quality landscaping work.

Four Elements Landscape & Outdoor put in a fire pit for us last summer. It looks great and matches our back patio perfectly. We were very happy with their service. John was very prompt in coming out to give us a quote. They completed the work on schedule.

Worked with John Van and his crew at Four Elements L&O and my wife and I are very pleased with their work. Very professional and they addressed any concerns we had. Four Elements demoed our concrete patio and large deck. They worked in cooperation with our deck contractor to build a new paver patio under our new deck and then completed a major landscape overhaul of our entire lot. From our first meeting with John to final completion of our projects, we were impressed with his knowledge and professionalism. He was very easy to work with and made many helpful suggestions to give us the best value within our budget. His crew was hardworking and conscientious. They were reliable and completed everything in a timely manner. Most impressive were their consistent efforts to quickly haul away debris and leave our property cleaned up on a daily basis. We are very pleased with the quality of work and the quality of materials used. We will definitely use Four Elements again!

I am extremely thankful I hired Four Elements and highly recommend them for your project. They created a beautiful patio, fireplace, fire pits, walkways, stairs, and landscape design. There were many design decisions that I had not considered and Four Elements expertly guided us and everything flows together beautifully. I/ve hired 4 Elements Landscaping multiple times for thing such as building my fire pit, and xeriscaping my back yard and now they will be building a custom outdoor kitchen. Their work is superb and I couldn't see or trust anyone else when it comes to landscaping work for my home. You can't go wrong with this company. They'll treat you right and work on your home as if it was their own. I'd give them more than 5 stars if I could.

John came in at a very competitive price and got the job done quickly and professionally. He's very conscientious and easy to work with. I'll be using him on another phase of construction this next Spring.
