We can't say enough good things about Mike and his team at Talee Renovations. From the initial consult, to the choosing of materials, all the way to the final clean up, they were always on time, professional and courteous. We also really appreciated the communication provided through out the renovation. They came in on time and on budget, and with a 110 year old house, that is not an easy thing to do! We would recommend using Talee to all our friends and family for any renovation project, be it a bathroom, basement or something even on a bigger scale.

Talee Renovations Inc. completed our total kitchen makeover. From start to finish Mike was always there to offer advice, make suggestions, answer a question, make our requested changes, accompany us to select tile, countertop, fixtures etc etc. At Mike’s initial visit he listened to what we wanted and provided a very detailed quote and plan according to our budget. No detail was overlooked, including his suggestion to move our countertop out a bit for easier traffic flow. We never would have thought of that but it has made a huge difference, at no extra cost. We had a corner pantry and we insisted it stay, Mike said ok, but provided us with a video of a before and after reno with a pantry removed and without hesitation we agreed and are so glad we did. We also had a slab of countertop installed for the backsplash and when installed behind the microwave none of the pattern was visible. Not a huge issue but when Mike saw it, he immediately took a picture and sent it to the company and they came back and replaced it at no extra cost. All the contractors Mike used were professional, we had no hesitation having them in our home. A huge thank you goes to Mike’s head project manager Andrew! He is professional and so experienced, Andrew can do anything! It was a pleasure to have Andrew in our home. There was minimal disruption to us and most importantly it was finished within budget and more importantly in the promised timeframe. It was all so successful we trusted Talee Renovations to complete our ensuite bathroom total renovation. Again, Mike provided a detail quote and completion timeframe. There was again, no surprises with pricing or timing, all completed as promised. Highly, highly recommend Talee Renovations Inc. We absolutely love our new kitchen and bathroom! This was a large project, The reno involved the main floor update, new flooring, a SHOW STOPPING kitchen renovation, new updated staircase, new fireplace and surround, painting, new powder room, new guest bath and a spa like ensuite which is amazing. The quality of workmanship, and the trades Mike and the team work with are all at the top of their game. The products i chose, with guidance from Mike were also great quality. The important factor, is that Talee Renovations were the only group that worked hard to get the all that i wanted within my budget. In my preparation for the reno, I did have 4 different quotes from other companies but Talee was the group I chose. The budget came in as stated, as well as with in the time frame i was told. Any cost overages were changes that I made and they were agreed upon. The project was well scheduled as well as the payment schedule and Mike was on top of any changes that trades made in regards to appointments or product issues. MIke and the crew always listened to me, and offered great ideas or little changes that made it even better and i never felt out of the loop. Any problems we encountered during the reno process were discussed and corrected immediately. This was 3 month project. You won’t be disappointed if you go with Talee Renovations. Mike and his team at Talee Renovations are honest, reliable, professional and all around excellent to work with. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Our renovations required us to temporarily move out of our home. A week after the renovations had begun, I broke my ankle and was completely immobile for the duration of the renovation. This meant I was unable to go to the house, watch the progress and keep my eye on things. Not something you want to happen when people are working in your home. Luckily for us, we had picked the absolute best renovation company. Mike would face time me from the house so that I could see the progress as it happened. We had no stress and no worries during the entire renovation. Everything went smoothly, professionally and exactly as promised. The renovation was completed and we were able to move back into our home three days earlier than originally promised! It’s not often you hear that. We were so pleased with the project Mike and team at Talee helped us with. We own a rental condo in lower Mount Royal in Calgary, but we live in St. Albert. So we had to get the estimate/quote and arrange much of the work at a distance. We were looking for a smaller bathroom (40s.f.) remodel in the condo in an older apartment style building. We could not be happier working with this contactor. Five star in every respect! In addition to being on time and on budget, the work quality was superb. This contractor has excellent relationships with his subcontractors and that was a key to the success of this project. Moreover, all of the subcontractors were highly skilled and did their tasks perfectly. And finally, communication between us and our contractor was always timely and highly responsive. We have had plenty of experience with other contractors over the years: Mike and his team at Talee were the best by far.

Mike and his team of professional tradesmen were amazing to work with. We did a complete kitchen reno with Talee. When I was told it would be about 6 weeks to complete the job, I had expectations that it would take longer, but in fact, it was completed in 4-5 weeks! Well ahead of schedule. Mike is so organized and detailed and that describes his team as well. Once one trade was done, Mike had the next in sometimes the same day so no time was lost waiting on the next. Every trade that came in was professional, knowledgeable, polite, hardworking and did a fabulous job. Mike made suggestions as we went along in the process and one in particular about our tile which really changed the final look of the kitchen and WOW are we so happy we took his knowledgeable suggestions. Mike and Talee Renovations was my best home investment decision yet! After needing to remove my main floor hardwood and carpet, (due to a fridge leak) Mike supported my decision on Luxury Vinyl Plank for the entire main floor. This meant removing hardwood, carpet and tiles. Mike is able to identify decisions which needed to be made before the actual project started. He was very upfront on the fact that he will not be the cheapest and that his subcontractors all worked at a high level of standards. He gave a detailed quote for the work and discussed the process with a thorough conversation. All steps were proceeded with on very professional and high level of communication . As he progressed through the project, he was very clear on the step by step jobs which would be completed. All project steps were made on time and when there was situations where they started later in a day, his competent contractors stayed and finished the job. All of the way through, he would explain the unexpected decisions which needed to be made. He never pressured me into anything and was able to offer a high and low cash option for all choices. I did invest in the Protec Water Sensors (5) package through Pete the Plumber. It was the best investment I have ever made. I appreciate that I now can use the "Key Fob" to turn my water off from upstairs instead of running downstairs to close the valve for further plumbing choices. I know I have told over 10 other people who leave their homes for the winter about this system. It will alert you via e-mail of a water leak and shuts off your water for you! It is a snow birds peace of mind! The floor looks fabulous and the attention to details is obvious with all the compliments I have had about the floor! Talee is the company I have recommended to my family and friends. Living with 3 boys and a dog made the decision for the Vinyl plank a fabulous bullet proof and water proof choice! After meeting with Mike from Talee Renovations and reviewing his detailed quote, my husband and I decided to proceed with our master en-suite complete renovation. Although the decision making process seemed daunting, Mike guided us seamlessly and patiently through all the choices and before long all items were agreed upon. The renovation started on time, product arrived as promised and the new bathroom was coming together nicely. Any questions or concerns that we had were handled promptly and efficiently. All of the work crew were friendly and left the work area clean and organized each day. The completed renovation was beyond my expectations. We've had a number of contractors in doing work over the last 10 years, and none were as focused as Mike on ensuring the project was done on time. There weren't any of those weeks that nobody showed up to work on the project. The project also came in exactly on budget.

We hired Talee Renovations to remodel our bathroom, we were happy with them from the beginning to the end. Mike was very good to work with, his estimate was thorough and he came up with a great plan for a fairly challenging space. Communication was good throughout the demo and construction process, we were kept in the loop and always knew what was happening each day. It was nice to watch it being assembled from the studs and knowing that our new bathroom was built correctly, from the inside out. They did a good job of keeping the dust from the rest of our house too! The job finished on time and on budget and turned out great, we're very happy with the finished product.

We hired Talee to do a full renovation on our main floor.The project took place over a four month period and was completed within 4% of the original estimate. Mike and his team went beyond the regular tear down and reconstruction - often coming to us with improvements in the how to implement, for example improved flooring,removal of railings and installation of a kitchen floor vacu-flow. These were not in the original design but Mike & Andrew were able to think beyond the plans to what would really work in our new space. Scott went out of his way to make sure that we were happy with the paint colour and the quality of his work was excellent. The issues that popped up (and there will always be issues in a reno of this scope)were thoroughly explained and dealt with quickly. Talee completed a renovation of our basement and we will be using them to renovate our upstairs area in the future.

I sit in my gorgeous renovated townhouse and I sigh! Wow! Talee Renovations, you've done it again! Another satisfied customer! Mike, Andrew, and Team worked around existing cupboards to renovate the kitchen, adding a small island matching the cupboards, granite countertops, and new backsplash. Oak engineered floors were installed in the kitchen, dining area, den, and living room. The ensuite off the master bedroom was redesigned to accommodate a double sink vanity, soaker tub, and closet system. Fresh paint, carpets in bedrooms and hallway, porcelain tile, skylights, are all additional features that make this place sizzle! Thank you for making my new home a great place to be! :)

Talee completely renovated our basement, where we had water and foundation issues. Andrew was outstanding - we really appreciated his guidance and recommendations as in finding the right details for us, including some amazing cabinetry work where we would not have thought of it. The space is so much brighter, functional, and liveable. We appreciated too the other sub-contractors they used for various things like paint, windows, and plumbing, all of whom had the same high level of service and work quality.

We had our small master bathroom completely renovated for installation of a walk-in shower, granite counter top, new sink, new fixtures, wall cabinet and painting. The quality of the work was excellent, the final budget came in as quoted. The trades people were all very professional and highly qualified. We were kept informed of what work was being done on each day and were consulted as required. We would definitely hire Talee Renovations again for any future renovations.

We originally hired Talee Renovations to do our bathroom. It was a relatively small job. Replace the tub, toilet, vanity top, tiles and fixtures. They supplied a detailed quotation giving both prices and a timetable. We accepted and they started work. They took every possible steps to keep down the dust during the demolition phase. We only have one bathroom so coordination with the plumber was key and well done. The timetable was adhered to, and we loved the final product. We where so happy that we asked for a quote for the renovation of our kitchen. Again a detailed quote was supplied. This was a bigger job and we knew that we would be without a kitchen for a while. By plan this was minimized as much as possible by preordering the major item like cabinets, counter top and back splash tiles. All things did not go perfectly but problems were solved quickly so they managed to closely adhere to the quoted timeline. Again we were delighted with the final outcome and are enjoying our new kitchen. Yes, we would definitely hire Talee Renovations for any future projects and recommend them to others.

Mike and his team were very professional and the renovation turned out better than I expected. Mike and his team gave some great designing tips that we wouldn't have thought on our own. The bathroom renovations were beautiful and I would definitely recommend them for anyone's renovations.

Talee helped me recover from a disastrous renovation, renewing my faith in the availability quality workmanship and service with integrity. They provided a beautiful oak-covered beam; renovated my family room, including updating a dated built-in 20 year old oak wall unit with modern clean white shelving; built a beautiful custom vanity in my powder room and helped me redesign my laundry room with a stacked washer/dryer and new cupboards to become way more functional. They were a pleasure to have in my home and their attention to detail and patience for my tendency to be "a bit" of a perfectionist was greatly appreciated.

Mike and his wonderful team most recently finished a major renovation for us in Feb, 2015. It was a well executed renovation and I would recommend them to anyone. They transformed our main and second level of our home while we lived in our basement. They were knowledgeable, experienced, efficient and all around great guys. Our home was transformed from an outdated 22 year old home into a refreshed and modernized abode. The renovation included a mixture of engineered hard wood flooring, cork flooring, tile flooring, bathroom fixtures and tiling, ceiling retexturing, painting throughout, lighting, bar cabinetry, granite and quartz countertops, kitchen cabinet hardware, appliances, plumbing faucets, wall removal, new framing and many minor changes to add additional pizzaz to the project. Talee did an excellent job on our basement renovation. The design and execution made the most of the space which started out as somewhat awkward but is now functional and beautiful. The Talee team were a pleasure to have in our home. They took special care to keep the mess to a minimum and quality to a maximum. We received the contact for Talee Renovations from Bar-B-Ques Galore in Calgary. We wanted to have our fireplace rock facia replaced as we purchased a new gas fireplace. We met with Mike from Talee and began discussing our desire to update the fireplace. The conversation was guided toward the use of an interior designer as Mike was focussed on ensuring we knew exactly what we wanted before the work proceeded. To make a long story short, we opted to have Talee perform a significant renovation on our home. They performed the entire demolition and replacement of: Cabinetry, custom framing for fireplace being moved, bathrooms and new railings/stiles. Talee built custom cabinets and moved electrical outlets to accommodate our new room layout. The bathrooms were completely updated with new tubs and tile work/fixtures. The railings surrounding our sunken living room were removed and replaced with a very modern style of our choosing. The custom millwork and rock facia are second to none. Andrew, the fabricator is very talented and gave us exactly what was in our mind's eye. The work was done on time and they focussed on just our job which meant there were no delays. Very impressively, Talee cleaned up the worksite every night before leaving. We lived at home during the renovations. Talee partners with excellent contractors for the electrical, railings and bathroom tiles. We are very satisfied. Talee wasn't the least expensive option but we certainly got what we paid for. We felt all costs were fair. This company is very professional and accountable. We are enjoying our home now more than ever and some features are even nicer than in multi-million dollar homes.
