We have been a Wood-Mode dealer for over 60 years. The custom cabinets are beautiful, and the craftsmanship is wonderful. We have had a lot of success with Wood-Mode over the years. It is our go-to choice to sell to our customers. There are so many options to make a truly personal set of cabinets. It is true, if you can design it, they can build it. Yes, the company closed after some major problems in 2019. It re-opened within six months with the goal of restoring its glory. Along with dedicated employees, Bill French has done a great job of getting the company back up and running. They have restored the quality and craftsmanship for which Wood-Mode was known. Wood-Mode cabinetry is again an excellent choice for any discerning homeowner.

I've put in two Woodmode kitchens in. First one is 35 years old and still works like new. Second one is 23 years and could be seen as brand new still. Both are hi quality to say the least and have all kinds of storage options to optimize the space perfectly. My latest kitchen was done last fall and is as perfect as the previous ones. I'm a designer and have been creating spaces with Wood-Mode cabinetry for 25 years now. They are, in my opinion, the best! Their claim to fame is their finish! It is extremely durable. Their craftsmanship is amazing. Customer service can't be beat. Since being acquired by Mr. French in 2019 they have only improved! They are now more cutting edge than ever in design. Smart investments have been made in the factory and processes have been streamlined.

As a designer that has sold numerous cabinet manufacturers, Wood Mode is the one that I always try to steer people to. I know that I can rely on the quality of their craftsmanship and my client will be happy with their decision (and my mind is more at ease when placing an order). We ordered cabinets through a showroom in Massachusetts. They were due to be shipped three weeks from today. The factory was closed abruptly by creditors on Monday. They are bankrupt. We have to start the process over and we'll have to pay to live away from our home for several additional months while starting all over again, and we will have to hope that our contractor can schedule to get back and finish our innovations. Again, this company is bankrupt.

Avoid WoodMode! We are a luxury spec home builder in the Seattle area and had WoodMode do all the cabinets in a house. Here are the issues we have: A. There have been a massive amount of errors for the entire cabinetry package. We have never experienced this from any other vendor (Belmont, Crystal, etc...). I have outlined them below: 1. Master middle cabinet height is 27" while all others are 25"—needs to get remade. 2. Laundry cabinet with sink depth should be 24" and it is 21" (note that this cabinet also does not have paint on left panel facing the laundry machines, it needs to get remade). 3. Kitchen cabinet to right of range is not plumb/level. (needs to get remade) 4. Kitchen island needs to have finish paint on the ends of the cabinets that face dishwasher on two sides. 5. Fillers short for all 3 upstairs bathrooms. 6. For all secondary baths the lower most drawer face (left and right) is not lined up with the other drawer faces. This is because the face themselves was made short and not an adjustable item. 7. Missing door to refrigerator cabinets. 8. Kitchen wall perimeter missing servo motors added to the Aventos. 9. I checked the order sheet and for all drawers they are Tipon blumotion. Everything has Tipon, but the kitchen drawers do not have blumotion. B. Issues were first reported to Wood-Mode on Wed 2/27 and the company cannot give my distributor any type of ETA or status update. This is shocking that we can’t get dates at all. We need cabinets to do countertop slab and tiling around. Vendors have to come back to the site multiple times and the whole project is halted. This is costing our company over $20,000 in damages and growing due to their negligence. I would advise everyone to look elsewhere.
