About Us

Interior Design services | Best of Houzz Full service custom residential and commercial design projects as well as merchandising for the Real Estate Industry. Offering design specifications and design services for spec home builders and developers and private design projects. Aimee Miller was born in iconic Griffith Park in Los Angeles, CA. With a master construction developer father and parents with a keen eye for stunning homes, Aimee was surrounded by opportunities for beauty. With a business education, MBA and law school in her tool belt, the newly widowed mother of twins needed to start over. Her love of design and unrelenting entrepreneurial drive led her to the UCLA Interiors and Architecture Program, which prompted her to turn her antiques brokering busines into a home staging and design business Designed To Move. Her passion for interiors and the trending drift from traditional to transitional turned her efforts towards another residential design branch of this enterprise, DTM Interiors. A complete sense of problem solving and providing each client with a true sense of home and sanctuary is her laser focus. Miller was soon asked to update homes in Aspen and Jackson, so the Western Rockies divisions of DTM USA was born. Most recently, Miller has moved her operations and curated collection of furnishings to a newly remodeled showcase and studio from which she and her team operate. The Beverly Hills Headquarters boasts transformed bedrooms, kitchen, baths, working fireplaces and intimate outdoor spaces for patrons to shop or clients to meet and discuss designs. With an eye to the future, Miller has recently launched an e-Design division to enable clientele with limited budgets to access the design aesthetic she and her team offers.

Aimee pulled off the impossible for most designers in 2021. With a full house Reno (11,000 sq. Ft) she transformed a home from light fixtures to custom rugs, imported unique wall coverings, art & furniture much of which she designed & managed to deliver all during the restrictions & limitations brought on by the Covid shutdown. Her experience, vision & creativity turned a bland house into a masterpiece fit for Architectural Digest. Once again Aimee shines through as much mor than a designer with her attention to detail & her deigns for the “way the client wants to live in their space”. I highly recommend.

We purchased a table from Aimee that we saw online. When it arrived, the dimensions were completely different (at least 10" shorter in both directions). Aimee refuses to allow us return the table even though it's clear she grossly misrepresented the product and acts completely unprofessional when trying to speak with her on the phone.

We hired Aimee Miller and her company Designed to Move to help us decorate our new home in Encino. We saw one of the houses she staged and loved it so much that the choice was easy to make. She didn't disappoint. Both Aimee and her staff have been a pleasure to work with. We knew more or less what we wanted but she provided a sense of direction and invaluable expertise. We really appreciated her thinking out of the box since we wanted our house to be very unique. She had great ideas and was able to get truly one of a kind pieces which look stylish and classy without breaking a bank. She was always willing to advise us also on art placement, plants, patio and garden and even met me at the nursery to choose pots and plants we wanted. Using her design discount is a huge extra benefit since otherwise things can get very expensive. Our house is coming together nicely thanks to her knowledge and beautiful sense of style. We recommend her highly.

We selected DTM Interiors to stage our property in Long Beach, CA. The staging was stylish, classic yet still on trend. Their furniture pieces were substantial and upscale and fit the environment beautifully. They even incorporated a baby grand in the over sized living room to create a terrific space. Tasteful accents were placed throughout the house making each room feel very elegant, warm and inviting. The staff was efficient, friendly and always professional. It was our first time using this DTM Interiors, but it will not be the last.

I have hired DTM several times. Aimee and her crew are stellar. Very professional, and with a terrific eye. On each of our listings, we received multiple offers and were in escrow within 2 weeks . On this particular listing, we achieved the highest per sq ft average for a home this size - in large part due to the beautiful high end furnishings provided by DTM. I am now using Aimee (DTM) to complete furnishing a condominium in Beverly HIlls for a client. The one thing to say about DTM is I have a feeling of TRUST - very important in this business. They are on budget, meet deadlines, and have included services that can help me get the job done. I look forward to the finished product and can't wait to see another magical result. We recommend their services with complete confidence !
