Patrick Trotter was the person who did my "project". I had all of my old saltillo tiles removed and replaced with porcelain tile; I had my old shower and tub removed and replaced with a walk-in shower; I had frames made of tile for my large mirror in my bathrooms; I had my fireplace tile, hearth and area above the fireplace redone; and some other smaller updates.
Patrick did an incredible job! The tile throughout the house is superb and the designs he created for the tile in the front hall and the family room are wonderful. The shower is absolutely incredible! He used glass block for the "serpentine" wall, porcelain tile for the major parts of the shower, marble for the bench and shelves and mosaic tile as the accent. He replaced the windows with glass block. He used the mosaic tiles to create the frame for this mirror and the mirror in another bathroom (where the floor tile was also replaced). The tiling he did around my fireplace created a warm, modern but classic look.
He was always very professional and dedicated to working on this job. He is also has very creative ideas.
As potential smaller projects popped-up during the work, as they usually do, we would discuss them and then decide what made sense. This was a very collaborative project.
I cannot adequately describe how wonderful everything turned out!
A year later, as I look at it, it is still unbelievably beautiful and problem-free.
