This is a material structural change that requires engineering to ensure proper load support and code compliance. We communicated that a viable engineering solution had been identified and that we were prepared to proceed once verified.

Your claim that we “could not guarantee the job” is false. We do not proceed with structural modifications without proper engineering. That is a standard of care and a requirement for responsible construction—not an inability to perform.

Your statement that we are pursuing the “total amount” of the contract is also false. We are enforcing the 25% cancellation provision clearly outlined in the agreement you signed, following your decision to terminate the project after execution.
