Miller Landscape

From design to completion, we are exceptionally pleased with our backyard transformation. This was a complex project that included tree removal, grading, pool, pavilion with kitchen and fireplace, landscape, etc., and the Miller Landscape team (Bruce, John, Roberto and others) were all attentive, extremely professional and knowledgeable on all aspects of the project. Did we run into issues with weather, timing, etc? Absolutely, however the team went out of their way to provide suggestions and recommendations along with working 7 days a week from sun up to sun down to keep as close to our project completion date as possible. Throughout the project, the team listened attentively to everything that we wanted and they answered all of our concerns and questions timely and to our satisfaction. The attention to detail, customer service, pride and craftsmanship deserves a 5 star rating. Our project was completed at the end of May and it has turned out to be just what our family needed. It is beautifully designed, it's relaxing and can be used year round and the end result exceeded our expectations. We would most certainly recommend the Miller team.

John did a beautiful landscape plan and was great to work with. We don't recommend Miller Landscape for the install -- company's execution was poor, they didn't complete work as contracted, and they refused to honor their written warranty or return to fix after promising at final payment time to do so (when we wanted to withhold 10% of final payment due to drainage issue not fixed and worsened). Issues: 1) small drainage issue in 1 area not fixed and made worse (after dirt fill and grading) to become a whole yard issue 2) diseased plants installed and not replaced, 3) zoysia sod installed drowned due to fill/grading drainage issue, 4) broke stepping stones rolling the sod roller and equipment over them as hadn't rolled the sod as should be done when installed, and did only after we asked about, 5) fire pit installed at wrong size even after noting to project mgr when he'd painted out wrong size before the stonework install, to do as plan showed (4' designed, 2' off). Owner would not return calls when we asked him to call us about the warranty work needed. Son-in-law project manager would argue the landscape plan was wrong when we pointed out he was placing things in the wrong place (fire pit in front of a fence gate, really?) rather than as the plan showed, so asked for John to resolve with him to get project manager on track; project mgr would make excuses rather than take responsibility throughout the install. Now paying a 2nd company to fix what we contracted and paid Miller to do. Would have given a great review if the owner had ever returned our calls and company addressed. Since we've given them a year to do so without returned calls or results, posting review, and including the various items which any (besides the now swamp yard result) on their own may not be worth commenting on, but including so others aware.

Miller did an amazing job on our back yard pool and pool house project! above our expectations in every way. Great staff, talented craftsmanship and great eye for detail. We'll enjoy it for many years!
